Bitcoin's price has been slightly fluctuating everyday but it's not a huge fluctuation to buy in or sell of in order to make huge profit as everyone is eagerly waiting to know where this will us to, this is what my question is over here. Are we heading towards a new price pump or a dump ? This slow drift of bitcoin's value is really confusion.
For someone who is old enough in the industry you should have already known for yourself that Bitcoin fluctuation would never stop or end.
The price would continue to move as long as there are people who are putting up a demand and selling their share.

With my years of experience in the crypto market I can consider Bitcoin's movement now as something to be more steady rather than it being too volatile. Compared to the previous movements we have seen where Bitcoin can go up by 10 to 15% in just a day the 50-100$ price movement we are seeing now is incomparable to that since we are consolidating. If you are coming from a much less volatile market like the stock market you might not be used to these kinds of price movement but honestly this is the closest thing we can get as far as steady price movements go. Since we are consolidating the answer for your other question is still unsure because we aren't neither in the bull market or in a bear market and in consolidation all we can do is observe where it will move next whether it is near the support or in a resistance level which would indicate a test on both levels.

Well, anyone who could predict how the price will move, when the fluctuations will start or end would really be a true rich man. But as we all know that couldn't be told for sure. Since Bitcoin is volatile fluctuations are present all the time but sometimes they are less and sometimes more visible. But current fluctuations are small and I beleive it will stay so until the end of the year.

The price of bitcoin is fluctuating from the beginning the market created but you cannot expect the market to have a huge rally and drop all the time and bitcoin market is not a magic place to make money in a short period of time  Tongue. You need to have patience to make money and that market will rally after the cooling period and we will see that market rally after the halving.

These sideways movements will end when we'll enter a new trend, which most likely will be a bull market. It's almost guaranteed (if it's possible to say this word about Bitcoin's price) to happen after the halvening, but can also happen before the halvening. Just hodl now, you can easily lose money during the period that we have now if you'll try to trade thinking you can predict the short-term price.

Bitcoin price simply went to high to fast in June. There was so much hype that keep increasing without any correction for 5 months.

Last halving price of Bitcoin was half of previous ATH. One halving back was 1/3 of ATH.  So if  history repeats 7 months from now Bitcoin price should be from $7-10k. Not that much space to grow right now.

I think people saw the magnitude of the April-June rally and expected the bubble to begin right away. That was always an unlikely scenario.

This year's rally was quite like the late 2015 run ($200 to $500) that kicked off the last bull market. From November 2015 to May 2016, we had a multi-month bearish correction before the bull market continued. In my opinion that's where we are now.

I think we are experiencing pumps and dumps of around 1-2% and if one wants they can make.good profits by using margin trading adequately. Most of the people consider it risky but if you go with good risk management principles then the path isn't that tough. Talking about Bitcoin's analysis it's really moving sideways if we see in a long term. There are a lot of fluctuations but market is still undecided. I think this may also be a good thing as it shows reduced volatility which is really good for btc.

Fluctuation would never end rather it will continue as long there is buying and selling occur in the market. It is difficult to predict price but the current is ranging 8k level. But I think the market in the coming days will move forward at least to see it will increase from 8k. Actually, this fluctuation of price could be an opportunity for most traders in buying at a designated price. Don't confuse yourself if we could take risks then accumulating btc is also good.
Yeah, as long as BTC would survive the fluctuations in the price would prolong, so we may consider it as a never-ending process. But I still don't understand why people hate these fluctuations as these only enable them to earn widely in this market. However currently, the fluctuations are not so prominent as the price now is still loitering around 8k$ but we can expect a major rally coming before the year's end and I believe we can also anticipate a hype in the prices after the 2020 halving...

if only we knew that - when it ends or where would the trend go
almost certain about one thing though , no matter the trend of this year , seasonal end of the year fluctuations
the 2020 halving will be a huge locomotive to drive the price up
the main question is what level will it be starting from  ....
so far we seem to stagnate between a 7500 and 82000$ marks with not much of a volume to write home about

I think the title says differently from the content of your thread. I thought you're asking about when will fluctuations end literally.
Anyway, Bitcoin's movement seems a little bearish from the last 4 days after the dead-cat-bounce to $8,600. Speculation says the bottom of this is $7,000 some says $5,000. But, the current price today is also good for additional accumulation. So, most definitely we're still holding strong to this support level.
Don't put enough stress to yourself, because we're heading to a bull run.

Many investors in world have entered the market of bitcoin , and these people trade for short term , next year price will recover all crash of the past 2 years

Never? Fluctuation is the nature of bitcoin and even if this new one that goes between $7.7k to $8.3k ends somehow (which it will eventually) there will be a new one, just a month or so ago we were around $9.4k to $10.4k or so and we moved up and down between those, before that I remember $3.4k to $4.2k as well and before that we were doing $6.3k to $7.2k as well, you can go as further as possible and you will find trends and fluctuations on bitcoin price, the place it fluctuates changes all the time but the fact that it goes up and down between certain prices never really changes, it is the nature of bitcoin.

In order for traders to make money the price needs to go down and up so they can buy and sell which means it will forever happen as long as there are traders in bitcoin.

Are we heading towards a new price pump or a dump ?
Hundred times it has been told that no one has the exact words to answer this. Your title is also asking about fluctuation's end and no can do as well with that question.

This slow drift of bitcoin's value is really confusion.
It's not confusing, how long you've been into this market?

Pump or dump? The age old question. Smiley We're obviously gearing up for a range break. Price action looks bearish to me. I'm expecting a downside break. I'm really not sure whether it'll be a strong move down or not. It could just wick down to $7K. Wherever it bottoms, a strong recovery to the $9,000s or higher will probably follow.

I can feel that we are going down further so I am sure there are now many people just determining which can be the bottom so they can be ready with their Bitcoin order. The dip can be a good opportunity if taken right. Volatility has been one of the major hallmarks for Bitcoin and though this can be a bane to many merchants and other holders, traders can look at this an opportunity to ride with in other words a boon to them. So that is a bane and a boon depending on how you look at it and how you can take advantage of the situation...like somebody throwing a big lemon at you either you will cry like a baby (whining) or you can make a lemonade out of it. We are sure that after some weeks, Bitcoin can be back growing again and may even try to breach the $9,000 zone.

Many say that bitcoin will pump up, that is, the pope will come to raise the price of bitcoin when halving arrives, but I think it's still a long way off, but bitcoin is currently continuing to fall bit by bit, so this is really an uncertain fluctuation in which direction it's gone.

I doubt it would end and I doubt it even could. With how much its supply is still being released and is still demanded even now. Fluctuations in prices can't really be helped since it is volatile for a reason. As for the old question bull or bear, well that depends on the market itself. We may make predictions and such but we still can't tell if it would bull or bear.

Yes, that's the current situation of market as people are ready to demonstrate prediction but deep down they themselves knows that i will not go as per prediction. There are users who are making profits out of this volatility by doing a daily trade but with my experience a good amount of profit can be made during huge fluctuation but not the fluctuation of few hundred Dollars.

crypto is very difficult to guess in 2017 it is the heyday of bitcoin which reached 18,000 usd, then has decreased until now, in my opinion bitcoin until the end of the month will experience a significant increase given the good news about the bitcoin world in several countries. it's very helpful for bitcoin to the top.
Bitcoin was spread on entire world, But it take some time for development so all the acceptance is important for further days. We are all know 2017 is the best year for crypto economy so Bitcoin and other altcoins are growing well on crypto market. I think fluctuations are never end of Bitcoin because we always buying and selling the Bitcoin so it is a volatile cryptocurrency and gradual hype also possible on end of the year or next bull run.
