Wish I am born later. After we discover the art of immortality.

How can you know we won't find it before you die?  Smiley

That odd is rather low.

Idk, because in human development we sometimes have a genius that gives us leaps forward, like Tesla or Einstein.

Wish i am born after world war lll. But hope it will never happen, i hate war.

You want to be born a stone age nuclear winter?

I think he meant after the recovery if there is one and or the beginning of the space age as the damage to the environment on earth caused the human race to leave their planet in search of another location to survive in such as a Plant. (Gundam)

I would like to be transient going through time and space in a formless shape
Able to move my soul into a physical form when I wake up from sleeping since the formless shape will be like slowly passing images but moving on a finite timeline in an accelerated sense in relative terms but slow in formless terms.
Then decide what eras I would live in.

But from your list I do not know the future but I would love to see the Cosmic Era myself.
Back in time Japan might be interesting but no anime yet so perhaps not too fun.
The Greeks perhaps and their hedonistic ways lol

At the least I would love to explore their hotsprings and hot spring eggs ^_^.
Get some obsidian from Volcanos
And watch Vesuvius erupt from a boat.

Oh and Beat up or outwit Socrates using modern philosophy to answer his darn questions!
Or at least attempt to. (Mumbles textbooks)

I don't know my choice is a possibility you would consider valid. I would love to be born in an era before man existed (I know...how can I be born if there are no humans around to give birth to me Cheesy )
I understand that I would literally be the only human in existence but I'd love to witness the earth in it's pristine state  Smiley

Personally, no, I'm just in time to jump in the bitcoin train before it reaches 10.000$ per coin. I think we live in the most interesting times now, and we can only imagine what's beyond.

Not a single person has actually answered this mans question. He doesn't care what you think about the eras or the logistics of life in those eras. He merely asked WHERE WOULD YOU PREFER TO BE BORN IF YOU WERE BORN AT ANOTHER ERA. He even gave an example.

I would love to live in between 1550 BC to 300 BC. I would like to be a Phoenician I just like what I have read about them ect. They are an interesting civilization that are rarely mentioned.

I don't want to be born in the past unless I was a first son of a King or Emperor. Most luxuries enjoyed by the Kings in the past was enjoyed by Middle Class right now. We even enjoyed more luxuries than the kings in the Past because of the technology.

Same here except I'd go even further and say I would like to have been born in a post-singularity world with immortality, mind uploads, and a post-scarcity economy.

Would have been awesome if I had bought/mined a couple of bitcoins back in 2009 and used them to pay for a cryonics contract. That way, if I die, I'd wake up "reborn" as a cyborg or some sort of post-singularitarian consciousness in a virtual world. I could be a bird and experience flying or be a rocket and explore outer space.

Then if time travel is ever invented, I would be able to travel back in time to any era I wanted too.

Yeah, the fun and joy of life doesn't actually come from being as comfortable as possible and living as long and pointlessly as you can...
I would trade a hundred year life span of nothingness for forty years of meaning.

There are many who would choose a hundred year life span of nothingness.

Remember, peace of mind equate "nothingness" (little to no desire of material world).

That being said I would not choose to live in another era (if I could just visit one then maybe) but not for any of the reasons I have seen stated above. The thing is this era is awesome. Sure millions of people have seen the pyramids in Egypt, but I haven't yet, and I certainly hope to someday. Living in this time gives us an amazing opportunity to see our whole world to explore any number of possibilities and to learn sooo much more than has ever been possible before.
There are however many problems with the world now and just because you can go and travel the globe doesn't mean you will, but then it doesn't mean you would have in the past either.

For me it will be at the time of world war 1, it was gruesome and hellish and something only the lucky survive, I know it sounds foolish .For second it will certainly be the time of revolution in America, it's simply fascinating!

The beginning of time maybe. Caveman Era. I've always wanted to know how humanity began and progressed through time. It'd be awesome to see it with my own eyes.

As narrow as North-America and Northern Europe. (And Australia, that everyone forgets about, it being somewhere on the underside of the world.)

Is it? The funniest thing is that even other places improved a lot. People tend to compare to those who are better to feel miserable, but if you born 100 years ago at Russia you would be in deep shit compared to Russia today...

That may be so, when you compare Russia today, with Russia, torn by Civil War in the aftermath of WWI and coup d'etat/revolution. However, Russia of 1900, with blooming industrialisation, was better than Russia/Soviet Union of 1914-1950, so development can tack steps backward. For example development took a huge step backwards for Iran/Persia or for Iraq.
I think I'd like to visit the mid-1700's Russia, the time of Lomonosov.

But you need to put things to perspective. They told you at school that Russia was industrializing and you tend to think about modern factories as you see them today... well... they weren't anything near it. They were good at their time context, for today standards they were nothing, even a low industrialized small country of today is able to produce more than the whole Russia by XIX Century.
