Pump and Dump is a type of market manipulation and because of that they are unpredictable. The only thing you can do is to try and detect a pump at its early stages when the money is being injected into the shitcoin pumping its price up. One of the signs is the sudden increase in the daily trading volume of that shitcoin for no reason and of course the price rise itself.

But remember that more important than detecting the pump is to detect the "dump". Because you need to sell before the pump ends and price crashes. That is more difficult but the signs of that can be the slower speed of volume injection. Meaning less money would be coming into that shitcoin and price rise slows down.
You can also set a target % profit and start selling after that regardless of whether the pump continues or not.

If we knew how to predict which coin would go up next, we would all be rich. There is no way to predict which one will go up next, we can assume, but we can't possibly know. I am not low cap type of guy so I will end up buying more and more SOL, because I think that's a strong currency with a good future and shouldn't really go down much, it has potential to grow further and do better and I have trust for it.

However, there is nothing I "know" about its future, I think it will do fine, but thats what I believe, I have no proof about it, and I could be very wrong, I can't guarantee anything about its future, so there is no reason to trust me and do what I say, and nobody here would be any different, they will all share what they believe.

It’s the million dollar question isn’t it, literally. If it was easy to answer we’s all be multi millionaires wouldn’t we. The simple but boring response & one you won’t want to hear is you are going to have to do your own research. Too many people here will tell you to buy coins that they own so they want you to buy, they are shilling their bags. DYOR & find a project that you believe in, preferably multiple projects.

It's tough to gauge the situation just by looking at the chart; you really need to stay updated with developments. If the projects have channels or communities, consider joining them to stay in the loop about upcoming news. Typically, during or just before an altcoin season, even a bit of positive news can quickly generate hype. So, it’s worth the effort to follow these developments closely. Otherwise, you might find yourself jumping on the wrong altcoin out of FOMO'd.

Why not just go for big alts and await their eventual pump?
The safest option for me would be to do that, IMO.
That is, if there is not need or goal to do otherwise.

That’s not an issue, but the key is to choose the right altcoins. If you look at the altcoin market, there are thousands of projects out there, but only a few are truly legit. Start by picking the right ones and then hold onto them. Letting FOMO drive your decisions will likely lead to mistakes. Don’t rush into buying just because you’re afraid of missing out. But if you haven’t bought yet, now might be the time, because if altcoin season kicks off soon, waiting too long could mean missing a big opportunity.

That's why it was said to buy the biggest ones out there - you won't miss with them and catch FOMO along the road with them.

Just be careful in time like this. Some people are still anticipating for altcoins season to continue but when it ends, the result is not good for people that invested late as they can fall into bull trap.

Some people will tell you to do research but any coin can pump these days if it is not a scam. Almost all the coins including new shit coins will pump. Just look for the good coins and buy with small amount of money that you can afford to lose. If it happens that you make some money, sell. Be careful of the bear season.
everyone will hope for good luck when the altcoin season, although carefulness needs to be done which is a little late they will miss the opportunity that occurs, with the current increase in market movement by looking for potential altcoins, it is their hope to see the increase that has occurred against altcoins recently.

You either go big or go home.
With the funds you are ready to spend on that alt venture, let's call it that.
No FOMO or mourning to it - just stick to the facts you would present to yourself as to why you would buy and hold X - and do it. Try, analyze, and adapt.

I am not certainly sure that there's any accurate methods which you can use to identify the right altcoin that is going to pump next, although if you follow the social media handle of some active project, it will help you to follow up any of their new announcement which could actually make it possible for the token to pump, but without that, some tokens can still pump unaware to anybody. Risk what you can afford to lose because a token could seem to have potential but might still disappointe you.

Altcoins popping up like in a game "whack a mole". Some did 50%, some did 5x. Is there any methods that could be used to predict which altcoin will be next? (I guess there must be some indicators, narrative and etc.) or it is purely random game?

Although it is not easy to predict which altcoin will pump next but as a general piece of advice, you should see the trend and then see which coins aren't pump yet and have the potential to have a rally. For example, you will see there is a meme coins season when mostly meme coins will pump. Then you may see the trend of Metaverse tokens pumping. Then comes the time for AI and Real World assets (RWA) coins etc.

If you want a more simpler approach you can see the which are the coins that are least pump in the last 7 days and then take entries in good ones. This data can easily be fetched from coinmarketcap.

Filter on 7d and select the coin categories from the top.

Few people noticed them probably at least 25% pump in a day. There were old ones very dormant while BTC kept going up and then suddenly they jumped without new updates. They were not touched by anybody I think until BTC slightly dips. Maybe those BTC traders move to altcoins instead of buying their USDT.

IOTA and TRX are the top ones that just pumped today. Just click the 24h in the CMC, they'd tell you which ones just emerged from the darkness.

FOMO is a great catalyzer to get your depo done dirty in the end.
Never think about what was lost due to not acting fast or because of something.
Think about what may be gained during the cycle till it's the end of it.

Founders, the foundations that pour their money in, the narrative - it all plays out nicely, resulting in some coins gaining good results in the end.
You never know which one would be the best, but you do know that the alt season will come in any case.
Grab big alts while the price is good, grab some others in the niche after the analysis (not as big and known), await it, and see your portfolio bloom.
