I'm still sure etherum will be the fastest growing altcoin among other altcoins. because from year to year if you look at the graph, etherum always shows a significant increase when a bull run occurs.
I also have some thoughts with you when mentioning this coin, but it is certainly too early to confirm because the current Ethereum still depends heavily on the price of Bitcoin and certainly the downtrend still overwhelms this market. This may be a good time for you to consider investing, but I believe this is a very risky investment and can completely cost you money if not careful. Personally, I only hold USDT and Fiat because these are the two safest assets in the bear market and I will have more options when buying other cheap coins.

As per my knowledge the best coins can recover once crypto market bounce back, so you can buy ETH and BNB both coins have more potential to give good results for our investments in short term. Because we know that those coins almost comes down around 60% compared to previous price.
Yes, the top altcoins already have their history with regards to bouncing back so you can know what altcoins is faster compare to the other. This question is already given, and we all know the answer. To give a few list don’t ever forget ETH, BNB, and XRP they can easily rise up again when the market becomes more stable on top.

Now I have money left for additional investments and I am thinking of spending it on bitcoins to average out in case of a fall in the price or better to buy other coins. I would still go into Ethereum because ever since, Ethereum is the one who is always next with Bitcoin in terms of popularity as well as the most trusted in the Altcoin section of the existing cryptocurrencies in the market. Ethereum have already survived lots of ups and downs and if you would remember, Ethereum have made its way reaching more than $1,000 which is really a great pump that really shows its capacity and capability to massively grow and improve. I know that Ethereum is having a hard time this past days, months, and even years but I would still get into Ethereum for I still do believe that time will soon to come that its price will reach the peak just like what happened way back 2017. Also, aside from Ethereum, I would also get into Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC) which are one of the Altcoins I hold in my portfolio as of the moment for I see that they have great potential for growing and improving their prices. All in all, if I would be investing into an Altcoin, then I would still choose Ethereum because for me it is still the best Altcoin that is next from Bitcoin being the king of cryptocurrencies.

I'm thinking Ripple or XRP and also Ethereum could recover its market price easily in the market if it is dump. I think what happened in the past dump of the market this Ethereum and XRP easily recover today making it price in the market volatile I think when it comes to investment XRP could easily give you a great profit because of the lower price value in the market with that you could easily buy a big volume of the token in the market for a higher profit in the future. When it comes to Ethereum maybe the best think in this popular altcoin is the volatility of this token just like bitcoin, also comparing it to the fee of bitcoin it has a much lower fees and in my opinion at any moment the price could increases easily.

I would like to place my bet into those 3 coins, those 3 coins have been proven to be the strongest coins for now in my opinion even in this corona virus pandemic. DASH is not showing any bad "crash" for now, so it's a good thing to see for us as the traders.

I think ethereum could be the big one, it looks like it is prime to go up like crazy after all of this corona thing goes away.
First of all it was above 200 dollars when this first started, bitcoin will go up so ethereum price will go up as well in dollar terms, it got affected more than many others, moved from 240 levels to 110 levels, I am sure it will go up back to 200+ dollar prices.
On top of that, there is hard forks and other developments going on, and in 2021 (too late for 2020 if you ask me) there will be proof of stake that will be universally loved by everyone as well, that will affect the prices too. So, I see it going 5x eventually, it make take longer than a year but in 15 months or so we will see 5x increase in ethereum for sure and that makes it awesome to buy right now.

when prices began to recover, I was pretty sure that the forks resulting from forks from bitcoin such as BCH, BSV, BTG, and others would make a very rapid increase. it happened when the increase in bitcoin prices occurred at the beginning of the year. it's just that, it won't be stable, but for those who can use it, they will definitely buy this coin. There are good altcoins now in the market , some were acquired by some top exchanges and some have good team. Once market rescusitates they will certainly do more well, depsite the condition of the market these altcoins are still trying to gain weight. I will advice one conduct his or her own research so as not to miss out the train once the bull run time comes.

Well can't say that there would be one coin that will have the highest recovery overall, but if you wouldn't want Ethereum then I could just advise you to get BNB instead. And in relation to Bitcoin, Ethereum is still very weak.
ETH is by far the nearest and only coin I can think of hodling for long-term as some other coins below it just gets red quite often.

Everyone or rather most people are recommending ETH first before any other one and from the look of things or to be sincere, it is the truth. Ethereum is one coin which have a very huge opportunity of regaining it's price and even growing more because people have come to trust it more than any other altcoin. Also, with the blockchain upgrade coming up it tends to be a good decision. XLM and BNB is another that have a good chance o growing faster, as each team is trying their best to maintain platform growth and relevance.
for bnb yes i believe on it because bnb can be easily manipulated by binance but for xlm and eth no . i never hear any good news from xlm anymore but eth ? eth was a verry stable coin and rarely grow in price but eth can recover sometimes .
aside from these , bitcoin is my best bet when it comes to recovery in price because this is the only coin that is favored by many people . when market recovers , there are people that then invest but most of the investors only invest when the value of the coin is dumping .

I think its not the altcoins that goes increasingly fast, its bitcoin and then it pulled several altcoins after its increasing movement. But in terms of altcoins, i also think that ethereum would follow for increasing price after bitcoin.

I still hodl some Verasity against a time of real growth, because I know it will still come. Talking about Emirex, te price it presently is very low. This is one of the coins I have always put my eyes on, ever since I saw the project. I am still observing though, perhaps I will not change my mind.
LTC is still too slow for my liking. Although, early this year, it was worth something cool

We have good coins that have good potential to recover in the market such as: ETH, BNB, WRX, Hbar, ChainLink, Atom(Cosmo). In all these I trust ETH above the rest because of its usability and large community. BNB is another good belt because of the reputation of CZ and his team. I am currently trading WRX, I pray I don't get caught.

This might be a tough decision but coming from the angle of what will make the altcoin grow faster depends on the team. That is, if the team have been giving reasons why investors should hold on during thus trying times then I think once the market starts recovering the altcoin will be growing. So in my own opinion, BNB is a good one; as we can see the team aren't relenting instead they keep pushing further for more growth. ETH on the other hand being the top altcoin will also be a good one to buy because for sure it will grow in price. Neo and XLM are other ones to look into as they have what it takes to grow.
There is no universal answer to this question as each one will have a different criteria for selecting their favourite alt coin, and in my personal opinion after studying the answers out here you should do your own research too. Lastly my favourite alt coin has been ETH because time and time again it has shown positive movements in the long run, and therefore I keep recommending people to buy ETH and hodl it for the long term.
