I buy a lot of different coins. For me there is no preference. I use coins only to make money. But there are some coins that gave me more profit than others like NEM, ETH, Waves.
I would bet on Litecoin and etherium. If only life is a rechargeable battery, it would be worth dying for. But we only have one life, nothing in this world is worth betting for a life unless you want to be a hero with statue . It is also not the purpose of life. There are still a lot of thing that should be used for that. Life is even greater that cryptos and other things.
I'll never bet my life on altcoins, because you can never know the future. Maybe blockchain world in general will be a great success, and I'm a true believer of that, but if there is any issue, it's still an investment with risk whatever you can say or think, so don't bet your life on it...
It's like making all in for every trade you do, it's nonsense. You can earn betting less. The reward won't be the same but you won't loose anything in case of failure.

Cryptocurrency is not life. It is just a rave of the moment. Anyone who would bet their life on a thing as infinitesimal as a coin doesn't know what his worth is. No coin is worth more than a coin. Even Satoshi could not have prophesied what Bitcoin has come to be.
What about dogecoin and its value as against what it was worth last year? Does anyone still remember how Bytebal used to be on the trail of the Bitcoin before the advent of BCH? Where is Bytebal now? No coin of a truth is worth a stake.

If i will bet my life on altcoins i will bet on ETHEREUM same popular on Bitcoin and the value now goes higher
Stratis and ETH, if the time can come back, I will certainly buy these two wonders, Stud! Stratis almost doubled a year. Of course, the time can not be repeated, so what I have to do is take control of the current altcoin and ICO.
i choose bitcoin because it's have many provit between freedom payment,low cost,low risk for seller,security and control,transparent and neutral

First there is no coin worth betting your life over, even Bitcoin too is not exempted.
The basic thing is that there are so many alts that have and will do very well in the future. Altcoins like LTC, XMR, BCH, and ETH are all cool and worth keeping for the long term.
I wouldn't say life, but for those willing to bet I think it's safe they should stick within projects that are at least up to 4years and have maintained a top 100 marketcap.

As of the moment, I don't have any alt coin in my mine to bet my life in it, but there is really good altcoin out there, you really need to study and find it. because a good altcoin has a good background
I don't trust altcoins as much as your question is talking about. However, If I find myself in such situation, I would choose Ripple. It has great opportunity to grow and hit 5$ despite its high supply.

I would bet my life on monero, cardano, LTC, ETH. ETH will slowly rise, monero is srill rising. LTC is starting to go up again. Cardano and monero is a good platforms.
Omisego, Monero, Stratis, and Ethereum each of them has great potential and they offer solid plans to keep on developing plus they have great team
I prefer ETH. if to bet my life. because eth has good votalitas. and popular such as bitcoin. plus eth has a nice smartcontrack so it has a lot of altcoin. I like ETH ..

Im a fan of Ethereum so i'll go for it. Ethereum's value and price now become really high. I think it is the biggest priced altcoin nowadays. Also most bounties use ETH in paying tokens.

I would not bet my life on any coin. If i had no other option i would bet on europecoin.
Ethereum seems the safest bet ... but I wouldn’t bet my life on anything in the crypto world. I just started by putting in money that I can afford to lose.
