AND and MANA are the most promising out of bunch, I mean axie infinity is good but their games aren't even right to be called metaverse because the current axie is just a rather normal games.
Meanwhile SAND and MANA has been gaining more and more investment from the big companies and I'm sure the presence of these big companies alone already proves the potential that these metaverse project has.
When bullish market is coming, these two coins could increase their value really high because at the end of 2022 I’m sure most of metaverse coins are gonna be taking off, currently most of them are at early stage of development
so their games are kinda still unfinished.

decentraland and sandbox that’s where the investment of the big companies that you see in the media and making such fuss are going in.
There are fairly quite many new metaverse projects that are having quite big potential and could be the next decentraland & sandbox
although fairly analyzing these new metaverse projects could also hardly grow because honestly decentraland and sandbox are already dominating the metaverse
with all the big companies heavily invested into the metaverse platform that are these two decentraland and sandbox.

I think in terms of popularity and potential. These are the ones that I've collected and I have on my list but I may not invest in all of them and only a few of them since there's an issue with budgeting.

I heard about Enjin Coin, but never thought it would be called a "metaverse token". I guess I have to do more research about this emerging trend. The other tokens seem to be quite popular on the market, as they've achieved new ATHs within such a short amount of time. There's a lot of hype surrounding the metaverse right after Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg announced it. The market is bearish right now, so it's hard to tell whenever so-called "metaverse tokens" will skyrocket in price or stale. They're quite a bargain these days considering the features their underlying blockchains provide.
I'm placing my bets on Decentraland since its the pioneer in this space (if I'm not mistaken). Who knows if this is a great opportunity of a lifetime to become rich in the future? Just my thoughts

I never know that Axie Infinity was one of the metaverse token, but anyway, honestly speaking I have no idea in which nft games are ood under metaverse token. Just all I know the nft games that are good so far was Axie Infinity, Mir4, and Cryber dragons(BNX) and Thetan as well too. These games of nft are good to me they are all legit giving a good profit anyhow.
They've classified it as a metaverse and that means that it's a metaverse token. Thetan arena you say? Look at the chart of it, it's likely that the devs have already cashed out.
I know Mir4 and it's an RPG game which is also popular, just enjoy playing and making money there.

SANDBOX, MANA, GALA. is my target coin, I will buy it later, I wait for it to go lower, the arrival of the bear makes me prefer to buy later. The metaverse coin has great potential in the future a lot of convincing it, but on the other hand there will definitely be a new metaverse coin to come for sure later. the competition for the metaverse project is very lively in the future.? They are currently the big players for sure, but this doesn't necessarily mean they are going to stay on top. In the crypto space many formely big currencies are now not worth much anymore and I could imagine MANA and SAND going their way. It is worth to invest into them now, but one needs to constantly monitor whether competitors appear that could take over the crown.

The single best long-term metaverse coin in my opinion is $sand. There are actually many metaverse coins like $mana, etc. but I see more potential in $sand. I hope I can also find out more about the metaverse project.

If you are asking about a well-known metaverse project and want to invest for the long term, I would suggest SANDBOX because this project has partnered with a lot of big names and companies.However if you are looking for a project that is new, and has not yet entered the market, I would suggest CyberTrade, this project also has many big partners and of course this will make this project very successful when it enters the market.

It will not be easy to search for the top metaverse because many metaverse projects are still trying to be the top project in the metaverse.
Maybe I will pick Mana, Sandbox, and AXS because I have all of those tokens and have held them until now.
But I think the other tokens will have good progress as we do not know which project will increase in the future.
We need to research for more to find the metaverse tokens as many tokens will have the same opportunity to increase.
The important is that you must use the money you can afford and consider the risk of investing in the metaverse tokens.

@Abiky. You can find much of the good long term investments during a bear market. Do not be looking for them now because the whole market might be in the risk of being in the beginning of the bubble pop. This might make a different type of long term investor out of you hehehe.

Buy some tokens that are already there but buy them when their price is currently low because there is no doubt that this year 2022 would be a Metaverse year where multiple NFTs will be launched from those existing projects. Depending on how they promote their project to the investors, the price of their tokens will surely increase this year. But it's nice to save some time and take some research on which tokens will be more trending this year when they release their new updates.

If I was to concentrate on the metaverse, I would allocate some of my intended capital to the ones that has already gotten a few share of the market dominance but concentrate more on those building. Project likes sandbox and decentralized land, Axie Infinity, gale etc will be put under watch and grabbed immediately the market provide such opposite through the series of corrections we are to expect in the coming months.
Like I said, my main focus will be on those just launching because they have the best chance to give more profit if the hype was to return on the metaverse. It feels like people are yet to understand how big this sector could be considering Facebook had to rename their company just to have the first mover advantage.

When prices are not very cheap anymore like when it started, it's not going to be a good idea to start buying anymore. Waiting is likely the best strategy for you, MANA was once $0.02 only, this is very affordable which you know if you buy today the tokens could just be dumped on you. This is the same with Enjin.
Axie (AXS) is better than the list that you know since it's on top of the meta games. That RON token might just be a good investment for someone who wants to enter the metaverse.

Play to Earn remains the most popular market for Metaverse so that should help narrow down your search. The problem with most games right now is their bad economy. They start strong with a huge reward pool to attract players but their system is unsustainable resulting to a quick dry up of their pool. Early players dump their rewards and leave while new players are stuck.
I tend to agree with you and maybe the existing one.For me, Axie is still the best investment but I don't know if they are capable on my part to hold in a long term, other than that, it's pure hype that could be useless soon. Let's just be careful always upon choosing an investment, just to be safe always and choose the proven and tested one.
Metaverse projects now are hyped and I can't trust them holding in a long term and none of the altcoins are good to hold in a long term, it's quite very risky on our part. Maybe invest only that you can afford to lose and think that you gamble your money and dont expect a good return.
Treat metaverse token as just any other type of token, which can be subjected to possible pump and dump or abandonment.
This is why I won't suggest any of them for long-term investment. It is the current hype and we have no idea about their survival in this market.
They may be good for short-term investments, but still, you need to be selective with the project that you are going to invest with.
These developers won't be worried if one day their project collapsed, especially if they got their pockets full already.
