I suggested buying Ethereum, Bitcoin, and BNB those coin price will be decently increase and gives you a good profit total. So if you have enough money for investment then you can you those coin and long term invest. ETH,BTC, and BNB are more valuable coin and those coin price increase day by day.
Why so many still hold and suggest dogecoin? Everyone still hope that it will be pumped by Elon Musk? Seems that he has lost interest in it. Even if he mention dogecoin in his tweets, it price barely changes. And people are waiting more bitcoin news from him.
because maybe the hype has disappeared, so when Elon Musk tweeted about DOGECOIN, the price of DOGECOIN did not increase very high anymore, therefore I recommend not investing in DOGECOIN for the long term, because DOGECOIN has no function, so it is very risky to invest in DOGECOIN for the long term and for now I recommend you to invest in ADA, because when the mainnet from ADA has been launched, then I believe the price of ADA will increase very high and create a new ATH.
In a falling market, for purchase and long-term storage, I would consider only fundamental projects such as ETH, MATIC, Solana, BONE, shiba, honney, cake, axie. I think this may well be enough to sleep well and make good money in the long term.

I suggest buying Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum will definitely increase and give you a lot of profit, it's just that Ethereum can't give you x1000 profit in the next few months, but at least investing in Ethereum is definitely safe and can give you profit, so you don't have to worry about investing in Ethereum for the long term.

For now Doge is still very good to buy and hold, the current market conditions are quite helpful for the growth of doge in the future, but I think you should hold it first for this year after you buy doge.
While the other coins you mentioned, don't look good at the moment in the market, but the opportunities next year may change and increase, at this time I still believe doge can provide the best value at the end of the year.
I have few Altcoins in my wallet. In which I believe that I can do something better. First I choose BNB. Because its future is definitely very good. There are also some other coins like XRP, Ada, Doggy Coin, Light Coin which are also better for buy and hold.

I totally agree with you, ADA is better than doge coin, ADA Coin is superior in terms of innovation than doge, if the smart contract is successful, it is likely that more ecosystems will be added to the ADA network, and the price will go up. but ADA can't be compared to Doge coin, ADA can be compared to coins like DOT, Matic and Solana as its rivals.
Altcoins are the most volatile cryptocurrencies in the market right now, a coin can do 10x and then go on to loose 70% of that value within the period of a few months. So altcoins arent necessarily the best to hold over a long period of time, however there are some great coins that may not do big pumps so often but they have a better chance of retaining their high gains over a longer period of time.
BNB is one of such coins and it is one of the few altcoins that i consider ideal for a long term investment

The crypto market is recovering from the crash right now and it seems after the storm finally there's a calm bitcoin has started pumped with all altcoins following behind, but not all altcoins are worst buying for long term, if you need suggestions for long term hold, I'd suggest you get yourself some bags of ETH, BNB, NEAR, ADA and also BTC it's self, personally my biggest bag is in Near, and it's pumping right now, will be holding it for at least a year or two cause I'm expecting the price to triple or do a minimum of x10 by then. If you want long-term project then check top coins on Coinmarketcap. Check Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Polygon. These are good for Investment. They are strong project so can give us good profit.
I don't understand this "HOLD for a few months" strategy. If you want to keep the coin only for a couple of months, then we don't call it as HODL. We would rather call it as short-term purchase. And the newly listed coins are best for this purpose, as the established coins don't show a lot of change in 2-3 months normally. But then, investing in the new coins is like a lottery. There is a high level of risk, and from what I have seen a majority of these coins undergo corrections after they get listed. It will be best to purchase when the prices are at the bottom.
the coins with the hype are definitely profitable with short-term investments. because we usually hold assets for the long term. if for a matter of months we will choose assets that have fast trades. but actually, it's a very big risk. because if we can't keep up with the hype well, we can get stuck in the market state. more important is choosing the right asset.

Sorry to tell, but the coin in your list are all shitcoins except EOS but not EOSDOWN lol, you will lose your money by holding that coin in the long run, smart holder holding a coin with a strong project not base on hype by other person, If i were you, start looking on defi coin like, uniswap, pancakeswap and platform like that.
Poor EOS, he choose leverage tokens which up when EOS down. EOS is a good project with a promising future, its like Ethereum which is a dApps platform. I hold it some in my account and stake it until it reaching a good price.
EOS is more just for the big stakers of it who could earn a lot of EOS every day. Frustrating to see how it could plummet easily when it crawling up. This is also why I just joining the EOS staking to earn daily and also dumps every day.
