Hey, they aren't shutting down the exchanges... They are shutting down their own population while trying to shift the blame to the exchanges...
The US of A should just block the whole country from using the internet instead of trying to own it. The rest of the world doesn't deserve a shitty internet just because some overweight americunts can't gamble or use foreign currency. Fuck'em!
Oh... Forget about it... Then their citizens would see what they're all about Wink

I imagine the next to come is MTGOX.

Almost right! They made all accounts need to be verified.

Edit: Yay! 200th post!

The Land of the Free government is trying to shut down Bitcoin exchanges like mad, they don't want free, uncontrollable currencies to compete with theirs.

The Japanese government would have to shutdown Mt. GOX since they are located in Japan. As for BTC-E.com, I doubt the Russian government would shut it down.

Time is on our side, yes it is!
I would assume GOX because they seem to already be in their sights based on past actions.

Actually, I bet they cant shut down btw-e.com because they are located in russia.
The evil country can seize the domains mtgox.com and btc-e.com because the evil country holds the rights over .com addresses, but they can easily switch to btc-e.ru or mtgox.co.jp which would not fall under the authority of the evil country.

But Mtgox is by far the largest Bitcoin exchange, if anything happen to them, all of us trading Bitcoin will be in deep shit.

Not necessarily, I imagine people would just begin using other exchanges.

I imagine the next to come is MTGOX.

But MTGOX could easily still serve users on a .co.jp domain, right  ?

Probably, I just want MTGOX to die. They almost killed Bitcoin completly with not letting people trade.
