Exactly! Some casinos are promoting FREE BETS and they really generous to give it to random customers, especially those new ones but behind that, there's the wagering requirement. I tried this before and I was trapped like I needed to deposit funds first and wage a lot just to be able to withdraw my funds.
Sometimes these free bets are just tool to lure people and deposit more on their platform.

For me as a light gambler, free spins and free bets are good bonuses, I prefer them over cashback because cashback doesn't feel special but free bets or free spins have a psychological effect on me. Gift Cards will also be good for me but I think that many customers don't want it because they don't shop online or it might be useless because they aren't interested in shopping in a specific place where gift card is redeemable.

I also think that cash beats the other options in the OP, with cash you get to decide how you will use your free money. It gives the gambler freedom like you rightly said, not to be boxed to use your freebies on spines or bets, you can choose any option that you feel like gambling on. With free money you can try games that you normally don't take interest in because it's a free money and you can afford to lose it. Money in your possession gives you the freedom and opportunities to explore new things so whether it's gambling or any other thing, money remains best option of payments and rewards

I would be interested in a first deposit bonus without wagering. I remember in one of the casinos, there was such a bonus. There were simple conditions, it seemed to be a sticky bonus and withdraw no more than 2.5x of the bonus amount. I think it's less burdensome than wagering.

In general, I don't like any bonuses, since a bonus is more of a marketing ploy than some kind of gift that benefits the player. Bonuses often resemble a "gift" in the form of a discount on a purchase or subscription to the service.

I once got a free bet just by registering but it was not a large amount because the casino would not provide unreasonable comfort for them, lucky for those who experience this and can get a win because of the benefits they can take home. Well if it's that possible that I can get what I choose it'll be very cool, nevertheless I went for a free gets and an invitation for a trip just this alone will do cause I see other choices as not that beneficial and again when having such fun you need to explore and enjoy the moment and this is why I chose this two. Cause havving a free bets could be very Unique and sometimes people tend to win more when they are giving some free slots to play that particular game, I'm not saying free bets is best but sometimes it helps out , if you look at spins you might spend your entire time spinning with no results but but once you get a sure predictions your free bets is sure to give you jackpots.
