Yeah, I am also agree with you, now altcoin has overcome on bitcoin, but still bitcoin is one and popular crypto in gambling market and mostly gambler who take turn with altcoin but they not properly left the bitcoin. Even now a days playing bitcoin is more profitable because of its price down. But still agree with you, that online gambling trend has been changed, now gamblers have a lot of options in altcoin between bitcoin, then every gambler want to taste a new coin.

I think btc was pretty good when the price of the bitcoin was lower but now the fees are very big, you can try ethereum now the price is not too high like the bitcoin.

It is the art of gambling using crypto, we can win higher amount when the price pumped up but we can win nothing when we win but the price of the coin goes down more than 100%. Using fiat for gambling is indeed good option if we want to keep on stable value but we are here talking about crypto coins to gamble. We should never regret when we decide to gamble our coins, so we should think many times before start to gambling. If you think what you have is a precious thing then dont gamble.

I don't know how much people gamble and where, but if you deposit any crypto in fortune jack, or betcoin.ag and some other casinos that accepts more then bitcoin in the end for your deposit you get chips and they are equivalent to bitcoin, your bets are in bitcoins, you can deposit any crypto you wish. Except if you play dices, but for slots roulette, and other real casino games you will play with bitcoins.
I never counted dices as some casino game, its a game for itself, but that is my opinion.
I usually know how much I plan to spent in dollars, and I deposit what I think its better for spending, sometimes its litecoin, sometime eth, I tried doge many times, bit bitcoin is still my favorite one.

Believe me everything is going against these questions when I read your post. Dude why to waste such beautiful and tremendous coins in gambling? These coins are so hard to buy. People are dying to get them and you are saying to invest them in gambling, to lose them so easily.

sometimes I am thinking about using litecoin for gambling but unfortunately, but the price now is too expensive for me so I think I will still continue to use dogecoin and I think I will try to use rdd if there are any gambling sites that allow us to use rdd. I think using rdd as the alternative coin for gambling is good too and I think the transaction is fast too like litecoin, dogecoin.

Exactly. Well yes before i use bitcoin but because the price isn't value too much but now that bitcoin is gaining value over time then there's no way for me to waste it. So I'm just using fiat now even in online casinos and I'm less guilty for using it as I know its value won't grow unlike of bitcoin. Likewise, I also didn't use any alts for gambling, it's just purely fiat without guilt.

Sure litecoin is fast to transfer in and out of your gambling wallet but to bet with it isn't the same as with bitcoin.
One litecoin bet would take you more to achieve what you can bet with bitcoin at roughly a tenth of the value.
I have witnessed this on the dice site I go to and it is frustrating and have not bet using it since.
Maybe it will be different with a coin that is closer to value of bitcoin such as ethereum.
Until this happens I will say bitcoin is the best to use for gambling so far in my experience.

there were exchanges that accepts other type of payment methods other than bitcoin so that you can purchase any coin without the need of buying bitcoin first. You can also sold you altcoin or tokens directly with a usd or any other forms of payment medium not just bitcoin.

overall we cant always rely on bitcoin because nowadays it is really possible to use any medium in order to buy and sell your coins. although in terms of gambling , i think the best coin to use is still bitcoin when it comes to crypto gambling because bitcoin is verry mainstream.

Doesn't mean those are the only cryptocurrencies you can use to gamble. There are so many kinds of cryptocurrencies but the problem is that to buy those other cryptocurrencies you will need bitcoins. So the process goes,

Buy Bitcoins with fiat > convert Bitcoins to whatever altcoin > deposit to gambling site > gamble > Cash-out altcoin > convert back to bitcoins > convert bitcoins back to fiat.

That is just a lot of steps to just be able to gamble.

You said it right. But if the gambler is really an intense one and no one can stop him and his on the stage of craving there's no need to ask why he should spend bitcoins whether the price is high or low. He will gamble and he will not care about the prices.

For me, in measuring whether the coin to be used in gambling is good or not, I use the confirmation time benchmark. Delays caused by the relatively long confirmation time will make the gamblers lose their mood and can be bad for their game. So, the faster the confirmation time, the better the coin will be used in gambling.

Those delays can even trigger them to gamble and crave more because the excitement and desire to gamble is there and it's adding thrill to their emotion. Not all gamblers does have different coins on their stash so others are bitcoin only gamblers.
