If comparing ETH and BNB, I will choose ETH, obviously ETH will be a lot safer if we invest in the long term. ETH is supported by many people in the long term, and for BNB, I think this altcoin was only created for the purpose of pumping and dumping.

As the poll shows, more people here trust Ethereum more, I am one of them. After all Ethereum is longer with us, it's more decentralized
than Binance, with more DApp`s.
True, maybe the time has no come yet for ETH to grow, until now it's still struggling while BNB looks stronger compared to ETH now.
I believe on both coins to succeed but in two years already, it was BNB that was surprising us with good news, while ETH is only giving us hope to launch its upgrade which until now there is no specific date when it will be launch, it leaves us guessing actually.

That doesn't mean that Binance is bad, not at all! Binance is a great exchange, with a lot of things going on, about many of them we
already discussed here on forum.
I have both! I have more Ethereum's because I started investing in ETH first.

Let's invest on both so we will enjoy both's success.

I just trust and Bitcoin in this market. Do not put too much faith in altcoins because it can collapse quickly and it is very difficult to recover. Like 2 weeks ago, the price of ETH and BNB has fallen by over 60% in just a few days. It was a crazy collapse for the market and all altcoins

haven't you seen the collapse of bitcoin too, ETH would not collapse if bitcoin did not dump, in fact bitcoin also dump 50%, and it's expected that more damage will effect on the altcoins, but there is a good news, after the big collapse, they recover.

ETH that was dump at $80+ are now trading at over $135 now, I just can't remember how low BNB dump that time.

The comparison is not really equal because the areas of use of both projects and their sectoral position are completely different from each other. To talk about my personal opinion and the choice I made on the questionnaire, I chose the Ethereum option. The biggest reason for me to choose Ethereum is because it is a more rooted project and has more investor trust. Besides, unfortunately for the BNB, it is very difficult to predict the future of this project because it is a service's cryptocurrency and we can argue that it is centralized in a sense. Also, there is a situation that the Binance project may not be a permanent project because there is a speculator at the beginning of the project. On the other hand, if we think about the disappearance of the big cryptocurrency market services in the past or the hacking events, on the Binance side, we can easily understand why BNB should be avoided. As I mentioned, Ethereum is a very good technology and a very successful project in its field. Moreover, it is not decentralized and its future does not depend on a service organization. Unfortunately, it's hard to say all of this for BNB. Therefore, my choice and long-term investment will be Ethereum.

From this two I would always chose ETH. Why would anyone trust an exchange coin that can go bankrupt anytime now as the exchanges are not doing well in this period and a simple look at the volume will reveal this. Stay safe, don't buy exchange coins, buy Bitcoin as this hype of exchange coins will not last longer in my opinion...so why risk it to buy it ?
looking forward there is a development of ETH 2.0, whereas for BNB there has been no intensive development, I also choose ETH for now. to be honest, I had already started stocking up on ETH when the price was close to $ 100. however, when the recovery occurs, I think the price can exceed $ 250. For BNB, I can't do any more speculation than $ 15 - $ 20 when a price recovery occurs.

what you expect ? bnb  has a small value so normally its ath wont also be big enough but the good part is that you can also invest more of it and expect that you can earn big as soon as its pump  .

infact i will depend more on bnb if in terms of profit because they can pump bnb more often than compare to eth that is only stable most of the time  but in terms of being a good quality of course eth obviously will win because eth was made for a legit purpose   .

If you are seeing it based on the fundamental of bitcoin and just invest in bitcoin caused by you will never find good things from both coins. You must that from the various perspective that will make you able to get the different thing especially when it comes to its own fundamentals like the product that has already created and both are having very good products.

What about staking Ethereum program or ability to gain profit just by holding BNB (if you have more than 50 BNB, very often you can participate in voting contest and get prizes, or buy/sell alts (immediately, just to get volume) in competitions (must hold BNB for that)) ?

With little effort, with both alts one can get profit Smiley

Both BNB and ETH is i can trust because they both have a good development and usability, that is why both of them could be more successful in the near future. But i think ETH will become more successful than BNB because they have a huge difference when it comes to it's values.
And yes you can choose those two and you know on what they gonna do if the time comes for them to increase the price.
But must better to choose other coins also than this two BNB and ETH, There are lots of them in the market than can be like them or surpass them. And some people in here also choosing listed on a top 10 are more potential and can be have a future.

Both coins could not trusted when bitcoin still lower price, what ever coin although on the top price during bitcoin never going on we can't trust with any coin because allow with bitcoin price to going down, when bitcoin up we can ever coin because will go on higher price.

I do trust both of coins considering ETH is the top coins in altcoins and BNB in recent years have being the best for the exchanges where people use it and due to which he demands of their coin have jumped up a lot. This is also a good coin after ETH. So would divide the money appropriately whenever I must buy coins so that have a variety and not concentrated on a single coin.

The largest Ethereum miner based on GPU's on 27th February Folding@home unveiled a wave of projects that have the goal to develop pharmaceutical drugs that fight coronavirus. The accumulated hashpower in these projects aim to help speed up COVID-19 efforts, by posting all results and datasets available on their gihub repository.

Well, for me, I would trust Ethereum more than BNB for the reason that I have already seen Ethereum since the year I have got into cryptocurrency and have already witnessed its ups and downs and how it conquered those challenges or circumstances that it have faced for quite some time and that makes me believe Ethereum is a worthy cryptocurrency in the Altcoin market. Also, I have already seen that Ethereum always plays the lead among the Altcoins in which it is always right behind Bitcoin and mostly projects take on using Ethereum that is why I would trust Ethereum more than BNB. I know both can be trusted because both are good and potential coin but because the answer is which I would trust more, I would go into Ethereum since I have known it so well compared to BNB on the other hand.

I hope Both are always good for holding because each company is showing their developments actively and it will help them to increase their prices very quickly when the price of Bitcoin starts recovery. So it is always good to hold them in the long term and in the short term, it might not give much profit.

The BNB coin is an exchange coin of only one exchange, even if it is doing well now. At the same time, ethereum is a global coin with smart contracts, on the platform of which most tokens are created. Therefore, of course, I give preference to ethereum, especially since we are soon expecting a significant update of Ethereum 2.0, which should completely change it and bring it to a new level of development.
It's an exchange coin but a very popular exchange and this coin is also traded in different exchanges.
Please don't limit this BNB to being an exchange coin only as the development of binance is really great, lately, they are adding fiat getways which will make their BNB more popular, its possible that it will be accepted for online transactions in the future, so keep an eye on BNB.

ETH is no doubt good as well, but they are lagging behind in terms of development.

maybe those who buy coin binance only for short-term investment purposes only, in terms of coin exchange will definitely decrease also compared to coins that have many benefits like this etherium, and etherium itself is still widely used clever contracts by new projects

First of all, the two coins are not in a competition neither should they be compare cause they are totally have different in the aspect of uses, potential, peculiarities and I also wonder why people still don't get it that an exchange were only purpose to fuel the activities done on an exchange.

These two are sure good altcoins to invest, and I also believe that both will be successful in the future, but I would like to ask the community here if which coin they believe will be more successful in the future. I also added a poll so you can vote, this would help people reading this thread to easily determine which coin is better.

Please share your opinion too on why you choose a certain coin.

If you look at all the exchanges currently available, almost all of them use ETH as the main exchange. Usually the main exchanges are BTC, ETH, USDT.  This means that the ETH cycle will continue to occur in every exchange. For example if you have DAO tokens. And DAO tokens will be listed in an exchange, for example probit. Then you can exchange in three main coins, namely BTC, ETH, and USDT. With the exchange you make it will have an impact on the movement of ETH.
Then ETH will be the number 2 choice after BTC and USDT.

While BNB on the next exchange, after getting BTC, ETH or USDT.

There is no point in comparing an exchange coin with a full-fledged smart contract platform. Ethereum is the king of altcoins and no other coin would come even close in terms of technology, adoption and acceptance. Just because Binance is a big exchange right now, we can't say that their coin would also be one of the largest cryptocurrencies. BNB is relatively young, and have miles to go before it can offer meaningful competition to ETH.
