I think there are some coins right now. The good thing to mine first is ADA / ETH, coins that are very normal as seen from the movement of values and prices are greatly increased by the end of this year.
The best coin to mine now is etherum because everyone has traded in it, they see the price is very cheap and support to mine it, they believe in the next few days its value will increase rapidly.
the best coin now to mine is IGNIS coin, the coin price is very cheap now and it is right to buy it and mine it, because in the end of this year the value will increase and you will get a profit.
I think a good coin for the current mine is NXT, because the coin is very good at seeing from the market price is very cheap, though the price fluctuates, but the coin continues to rise from day to day.
I agree that mining is on the background now but mining of BTC and ETH is still preferable doing despite on their fallen prices and other troubles now.

Monero and ethereum are good coins that you can have now. Block difficulties don't increase much over time allowing miners to earn an average income without additional GPUs further depending on increasing difficulty. if I become you, I choose to invest in altcoin or BTC.
Btc can be quite good decision for mining, risks are low, reliability of btc makes itself valuable and you will be happy in result of this doing and selling in the next. But do not forget about controling the price of btc before the selling, in another case you will lose a good amount of money.

I don't think that mining is very profitable way to earn on crypto and as I know a lot of peopel are going to go out of mining for it high level of spending resources.

Bitcoin was the hardest forever, even though it was very risky to mine when the price went to $20k as it was the most profitable coin at that time, the price of miners wasn't changed but the delay on delivering was the riskiest part to start mining at that time.

I consider only ETH as quite a good coin for mining. But recently said that they want to artificially raise the complexity of production by 33%, which is not good.
