At this moment , I think the coin that has a good future are those who are on top like bitcoin or Ethereum because that coin has a good history in the market and it is trusted by most investors in cryptocurrency industry so your money is secured.
When deciding in which coin to invest you can either blindly follow suggestions by others or make your own informed descision based on some criteria:
- What problem does the project attempt to solve?
- Is it a solution looking for a problem?
- Is there active development behind the project? (check Github activity)
- Has the team produced anything but a whitepaper?
- Are there established competitors which are much further into delivering a working product?
- Cross reference developers against previous scam projects
- Current market capitalization of the coin

In my opinion, always pick the coins which are on the top 50 lists in order to avoid getting fail sooner or later because investing on coins that have poor support from the community would be riskier. I think Bitcoin, Etherium, Ripple, EOS, NEO and Stellar would have a good future that is why they are at the top of the market because many investors or traders supporting on it. There are new projects too in the market today which has a brighter future you just have to do some research on it before investing in it.
I think Ethereum will always be the leading altcoin to be a means of investment. more and more new ICOs are using eth platforms that add to the popularity of the altcoin

Bitcoin of course, i believe in bitcoin, that it has a good future and the price will rise again and finally back at $20000 or maybe more higher than $20,000.

On my opinion, I think a coin have a good future is an ethereum, though its value is not as high but for the long run it gonna be a good amount as it can have a huge amoubt of profit. As I appreciate the ethereum due to its good performance this year and also Litecoin fore sure.
