Although Ethereum has recently received a lot of attention, its founder Vitalik Buterin stated that the current expected future goals of the Ethereum project are still set between 2017 and 2018. He listed the following milestones:

Metropolis stage: The Mist browser is released and is expected to land in the summer of 2016;
Serenity stage (‘Ethernet 1.5’): the release of the Ethereum Casper Consensus Algorithm (Pos), EIP101 (Ethernet Improvement Protocol) and EIP105, is expected to be released in early 2017;
Post WebAssembly (‘Ethernet 1.7’): Faster virtual machines are expected to be launched in 2017;
Ethereum 2.0 (not named): Implements initial scalability. It is expected to be launched in late 2017;
Ethereum 3.0 (not yet named): The ‘infinite’ extensibility is expected to be launched in late 2018.
 

From a blockchain smartphone to a world computer
 

As Buterin stated, Ethereum’s goal is to become a “world computer,” a platform that allows blockchain developers who create applications to easily benefit from the decentralization and security attributes of the blockchain without having to create a new one. I really believe in OmiseGo. Their goal is to make it cheaper to make transactions (send and receive payments) and it may disrupt the financial institutions by being more efficient. In addition, OMG has a partnership with McDonalds Thailand, which means they have at least done something outside the crypto world.

a good coin for the future is a coin that has prospects and controls for coin development. and stable coins in a bumpy market situation. I am more confident about Bitcoin as a future coin.

 Every coin have batter future in there own  place. But in my  opinion  Bitcoin and Ethereum  has the bright  future in blockchain technology. Btc price goes  high  day by day  and ETH  price are the same. If you invest now and hold it for some  time  , then  you can see the difference.

in my opinion . ARK will have a bright future . it has great bridging technology . its block confirmation time is only eight seconds . you can get a reward by voting .

I do believe that not only Ethereum but also the top altcoins in coinmarketcap.com will do have a good future.
I invested some of the top altcoins last year like NEO, Ripple, Tron, Verge, LiteCoin and other top promising altcoins that are offering me higher rewards today that something I though of regrets that I invested small amount of money last year.
ethereum had clearly brighter future along with some top atlcoins today but it is predicted that before this year ends, Ethereum will hit the price prediction of around $2,500.

I am a full Oyster supporter so I think Oyster Pearl PRL will do have a very good future because their crypto project is impressive and most of the internet users will probably use their platform as Oyster is making an online storage through IOTA Tangle and your files will be chuncked and encrypted before sending it to different storage nodes.
the peg would be 1 PRL = 64GB per year so we expect massive PRL price value increase after the main net will be launched late this month of May.

bitcoin has always had and will have a great opportunity of growth. I have only IXT!!!

I think that the Ethereum and Ripple are two coins that will not only be long in the top on the market, but they will definitely continue to increase in capitalization.

I think the coin which have a great potential and has a great future is bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most leading crypto and number one company in the whole world.
Therefore they have more chance that they can dominate in the future and have a outstanding performances.

From my perspective, there are so many coins that have a good future. Like ETH, in the next few years, the new technology will come and many of our investors are willing to embrace this coin because this is the big name in the coin marketcap.

I mostly rely on  coins on coinmarkecapt. I do not prefer tokens or new ICO. I am not yet so experienced in trading to be able to identify good projects from completely new

I highly recommend Litecoin, which is often referred to as the silver to bitcoin’s gold. Albeit not everyone may see it that way, Litecoin brings some very intriguing developments in the world of cryptocurrency, that much is certain. Compared to bitcoin’s block time, Litecoin generates network blocks 4 times as fast on the network.

In my opinion, etherum is a coin that has  a good future in terms in gaining more profit. But many possible coins in the cryptocurrency markets will have also a good future , it only takes a good community to fullfill it. And it will take a good company to handle it , to have a good future and stable value. I chose etherum because, it gains its value rapidly by the end of last year.  And etherium will be the next coin , next to bitcoin in the future.

In our opinion of a coin that has a future, we will choose bitcoin, because for us bitcoin is also a bright future, with an easy way to generate huge profits and also very popular bitcoin.
