It's only an extra 70w of power to dual mine Decred, but I think I may bin it off.

Cheers for the heads up chaps

I thought Decred already has ASIC, so it is not so profitable for GPU mining.

Yip, Decred is not profitable for dual mining, but if you have really cheap or free electricity then go for it

What do you guys suggest now?

I was ETH + SIA then the ASIC bomb hit, I'm ETH and DECRED now but that's pretty poor.

Maybe LBRY?
Don't expect mad extra profit from dual mining. Do expect more heat from extra power consumption.

It's still doable but I really don't see a point in it - there are coins that give you more profit and take less power than dual mining.

"there are coins that give you more profit and take less power than dual mining".. likee.....?

Gotta make that research my mate Wink! Little hint: the coin I'm mining right now cannot be found on whattomine and AMD is better choise for it Wink

agree with that, if the coin hits whattomine, profitability is gone as ppl just simply jump on and mine! better look for coins which are not listed in whattomine yet

Let's hope claymore add another coin to dual mine with eth, yes, dcr, sia, pascal, lbry are dead to gpu mining. So far sia is the most affected, before profit used to be $0.30 per day, now $0.02, whattomine calculator.

Sia? You're kidding right? There are no alternatives now ASICs are in the wild.  RIP dual mining.

I also used to dual mine Ethereum and Decred for a few months but I decided to sell my mining rig. Sia looks like a promising project, its price have been increasing for quite a long time. I'm not sure how new Antminers will affect Sia coin profitability. As far as I know, they are ready to change mining algorithm which would make all these Antminers worthless. Decred seems to be more violate, If I were you I would go for dual mining ETH and SIA.

for me ETH + PASC only, because PASC is still in very early stage, however it has very decent value already.  Think in long term.

Eth+sia is looking most profitable.
I saw some people mining ubq+sia, but not sure what is the profitability with that option.

It definitely still pays off... I make an addition $400-500 on my 5 than when I just solo mine ETH. Trust me that it should pay off significantly.
so what are you mining? eth + dcr?

I tried it with DCR, but dual mining didn´t pay off, because of the 2% Claymore is clayming (from the eth part of course) if you use the dual function .... So I mine just eth with his Dual Miner. btw. Is there a faster eth miner than Claymore´s?

can someone whos doing eth+sia share your bat? thanks

I'm using RX 570's and get 29.1 MH/s on ETH and 466 MH/s on Sia

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xF45c49cC99Be92723A46e26097460c57F7D01E1C.rig1 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-us-east1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal fc7a646c46e0e2d445f1582cdd3620ff0086b6fa4848153fc1c3c6009500e9bc204bf8fc9df4/rig1/myemail -dcoin sia -dcri 16 -cclock 1140 -mclock 2050 -cvddc 850 -tt 72 -fanmin 50 -fanmax 90

But with the voltage at 850 the cards actually run at 0.818v for some reason but it's stable  Grin
