BEs are entirely unprofitable right now... Only buy them if you want to mine for fun.

What do you base this on? They're selling for 0.07BTC/ea and they actually exist, I could order some today and they'll be here tomorrow. At this price you can still make ROI and then some.

The most profitable coin changes regularly so its hard to say what the most profitable one is. I've been using the hub for my BE's the OP linked to, however you'll need to make some modifications such as mentioned here:

I've also removed the DC input jack and soldered cables directly onto the hub which I plug into the molex adapters on my PSU. You'll need to do this otherwise you'll end up with something like this:

Where can you get BE's for only 0.07 each?

At least two that I have been following,

Im basing it on the fact that they're only generating 0.00086021505 per day. Factor in power costs and rising difficulty and the work associated with making sure they're running 24/7 and it's just not worth the effort.

Hey try hopping at the most profitable, but you have to dedicate a few hours to make it successful. Worth a try if you will. Merged mining is also a good idea.

Hi, all!

I just got my first erupter and was wondering which coin is the most profitable to mine with erupters and which hubs are the best to expand.

According to coinchoose, it's butterflycoin but I'm not sure if it will stay as most profitable.  All the other coins are scrypt!

Also, hubs.  I was looking at http://dx.com/p/10-port-usb-2-0-hub-with-external-power-source-100-240v-ac-adapter-33189.  Will this fit the bill?  Also, are there any other supplies I need?

I know erupter mining is not viable but I am doing it as a hobby now.

Thanks!
