Not really that some coins or tokens are undervalued to that extent, maybe they are yet to shine upon their own season of performance, we still have a long way to go from now till the end of the year, in which we may still have some to perform well in subsequent time to come, it's only by the end of the year that we may assume for the undervalued coins or tokens.

The answer for Which coins are undervalued in 2024 is LTC. Many crypto beginners haven't prioritized Litecoin. All performance is almost the same as BTC and of course there are differences. It is true that currently the LTC price has not shown any significant changes, but it will be busy if the issue of BTC fees is always high, it is not impossible that many will come to LTC.

Yes. This is a sleeping giant that many people do not know about the true potential of LTC going forward.

Among the zillions of coins listed on the market, which one(s) do you think is/are undervalued right now? And why? I believe Litecoin is an undervalued cryptocurrency because of its limited supply (84m coins), greater transaction capacity (than Bitcoin), and built-in privacy features (Mimblewimble). I also believe Elastic (XEL) and Golem (GNT) are undervalued as they're decentralized supercomputing networks with limitless potential.

What is/are your pick(s)? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I used to think the same for litecoin. But now I have realized that there are many more options where people can invest and though crypto market would always increase in valuation, the total market cap of each coin might not increase or in worse case, decrease. There are too many new and promising coins, there are hypes on memecoins where traders pour large sum of money. There are newer coins like Solana that promises better utility. With so much new and better options to invest, older coins that are 2 years+ in operation and still hasn't caught up a large market would soon disappears and newer coins overtakes them.

So much more options and cheaper too which if a little increment of its price increases, you can already take a profit.
The bull run for altcoins however seem not happening yet and I doubt there will be in a few months, I think all the institutional investors are only aiming or BTC and ETH ETF these days while the regulations are yuet not ironed.

Upon these coins I have heard about the XEL and it's not undervalued at all. Yes the big traders are not taking it seriously because it's not giving up the multiples of profits that they really want. The larger the investor  the more profit he wants on his investments.

But the daily and short term trader especially ones like us are investing into XEL due to its price and performance. Its not giving the expected profits till now but in the hope that it'll give it later on people are investing in it.

No doubt that Litecoin is still undervalued now. On the last bull run of 2021, it didn't moved a lot and maybe this time there will be attempts for it to reach certain highs. But I don't want to put much hope on it because the market's sentiment has changed dramatically.
People are all over those new projects and the ones with great hype because it's all about the money nowadays for them and not about the genuine features that it has to offer.
The bull run will always be present and profitable for those set of people that have grabbed their trims and stands in the market, they know exactly what to do and the projects to make their significant investment. There are projects that are underrated in the space and it's simply the team behind the project, they didn't put in the work to earn enormous profits. Litecoin and Dogecoin are included for projects to be undervalued, this is probably no good news for them.

1. TON
2. SOL
3. Ethereum
4. Near
5. Whole of L2 tokens.

I think that L2 and L1 will be playing very important role in the upcoming bullish trend. The price from the blockchain tokens have been gradually moving up. It's also very stable compared with another kind of tokens.

That's my reason why i took blockchain tokens as my preffereble choice. Ethereum ETF may be approved by SEC. That means that if it will be possible for altcoins to get approval too.

This is why i gamble a lot in the blockchain coins/tokens.

There are lot of coins which are undervalued not only in 2024 but throughout last few years and you are right Litecoin is one of them and I was expecting more from Litecoin as that was one of the crypto currency to provide lightening speed transfer at one point of time  and now it's buried, there are other coins like ADA, UTK which I personally felt had potential but couldn't live upto expectations.

There are lots of undervalued projects if we examine them one by one in depth, but what concerns me is Oasis Network (ROSE) which is ranked #121 & Neo (NEO) which is currently ranked #79. The two projects I mentioned have tremendous potential, Oasis Network (ROSE) as the new L-1 which has quite large adoption and Ethereum from China a.k.a Neo (NEO), I don't understand what is happening there and how the crypto public views these two projects. IMO, both projects should be in the top 50 CMC.

You're correct Litecoin (LTC) is undervalued and doesn't reflect its true potential in terms of price and have lots of users/followers as well I believe. Its constantly maintaining its top position since long time where many coins came and faded away from market. I hope it will get attention as it deserve one day.
There are other projects too that are still undervalued even after having solid development. I think one of them is siacoin (SC). First data storage project existed since 2015 and still being constantly developed but I think some invisible force is stopping it from going up in term of price, suppressing it hard.

Monero (XMR) - Completely anonymous been here for very long, time and completely anonymous but never reached its full potential because the nature of it's coin became it's a negative thing in the view of governments so every country is forcing the exchanges to delist the Monero from exchanges and even recently p2p were shut down too.
Exactly XMR could have gone long way but its main feature being its own enemy and being targeted by many authorities specially by USA.

i have not heard of these coins for a long time lol i remember them back in the day but these have been buried in the pile of new coins since 2018. the more coins popping up claiming to be a killer of another coin. they are forgotten and not bought back by their previous investors because the newer ones get attractive every now and then.

if you are to chose one and the safest among them, chose LTC.

My first option will be LTC but since you mentioned it already then here is NY next on the list.

Tbh I don’t think there is anything else other than Litecoin. It is the most preferred crypto currency on bitpay but somehow its market price doesn't reflect that. Its current price is way below its ATH price which was above $300. Also the litecoin ETF will probably get approved soon and that makes it a no brainer choice. I sometimes think there must be a catch, surely I am not the only person who sees that but somehow for some reason it is not moving.

I think it is either the market makers know something I don’t, or they are manipulating the prices so they can buy all them cheap litecoins.

I think the following four coins are undervalued and the main reason would be that they do not have the kind of hype they used to have in the early days. All of them are utility coins and were created to solve a specific problem which made them unique. In 2024 everyone is going after the meme coin craze and that is the reason the following coins are undervalued as per my observation.

[1] Filecoin (FIL)
[2] UNISWAP (UNI)
[3] The Graph (GRT)
[4] Cosmos (ATOM)
