I don't think there will not much difference in those top 10 market cap coins, but monero might take a place in replacing some other lower tiered coin in that top 10.

I don't know about the rest of them, but I can tell you which one will be holding its position firmly for sure: Bitcoin!

I can also tell you with high degree of certainty that one of these two:

  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Bitcoin SV

won't be there at the end of next year. Maybe even both of them won't be there.

Bitcoin Cash & Bitcoin SV both are controlled by the whales and have no value in them at all. They can give you good profits as the pump and dump high, but at the same time you can lose money if you are stuck in this pump dump.

Another subject to be discussed is not which coins will be top 10 but which coins will go away.
The word "bankrupt" is not really the right word for these coins but honestly I do not know any other way to describe it.

There has been a lot of weed coins for example that lost a lot of value over the years and some of them reached 100 million dollars in value whereas the highest at potcoin worth 2.5 million now. Those coins look like they will be "bankrupt" soon with how low their value is.

Considering monero is the only standing privacy coin they will probably go away soon as well. There has been a lot of storage room coins where the main idea was that instead of hash power they were mining with storage but now they are mostly gone as well. 2019 hopefully will be the year where prices of every coin increases but 2018 has been the year some coins really just went away and some of them probably went away for good never to return again.

tezos of course.
it will be great pump in 2019.
and come to top5 in my opinion
What do you mean "of course" - Tezos has really shitty fundamentals to become a top 10 much less top 5 coin. It's a ripoff idea of Ethereum but using a computer language nobody knows or wants to take the time to learn to develop on the platform. Meanwhile you have a foundation board who doesn't have a fucking clue how to manage image, lawsuits, and a dev team that is about to be paid millions and let off the hook for any future blockchain maintenance or development. Further, you have a shit ton of new coins being created out of thin air each day and dumped on the market with no strong demand because no projects are being built on it (see first fundamental problem).

What you say is all correct, but since you've only been here a few weeks, I see that you haven't yet learned the "Altcoin Shilling" language that is commonplace throughout the altcoin boards. Generally speaking, any post which talks about "to the moon", "pumping", "future top 10" or similar, without providing any reasoning whatsoever can be safely ignored. Allow me to offer a quick translation:

"Great pump" = I am holding huge bags of this shit
"Future Top 10 coin" = I really hope this shitcoin pumps so I can dump all these huge bags

Well I've been around long enough to have fallen for this shitcoin ico and had my bitcoins held hostage for a solid year, losing out on the late 2017 pump and free bitcoin fork coins. This was after being told during the ico that it would launch in early fall. This is one of the worst ico disasters to come out of 2017, right there with Eos and Bitconnect afaic. It's reputation is so rock bottom I have no idea how an attempted pump could work, but good luck to Aragom in 2019.

Hi Crypto Addicts

This year has been a heck of a year for crypto addicts. Last year Bitcoin boosted its price to 20k limit and everyone who has access to internet started to talk about BitCoin. Most of them don't know what a Crypto Currency is, what is Block Chain.

With the BTC price hike many governments started to take steps to regulate Crypto Market. Many coins popped up, some were real, and some were scam.

This year BTC & Crypto market as a whole took a big hit and prices started to decline in many coins. Some lost money investing money when the price is high and some became billionaires dumping the BTC at peak. Governments started to take steps to regulate the market, some countries banned crypto and some did support the course.

With all this happening behind the curtains BTC hold 1st place all the time in terms of dollar price and market capitalizations. Some coins dropped 1 or 2 places down and some moved up. About 2 days ago BCH SV moved up against BCH ABC for couple of minutes or hours and both are back again on their previous places. Doge took a great hit and moved way down. XR, Stellar, Tether build its trust while other coins take a hit. As of today following are the Top 10 coins in terms of Market Capitalization.

  • BitCoin
  • XRP
  • Ethereum
  • Stellar
  • Tether
  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Bitcoin SV
  • EOS
  • Litecoin
  • TRON

By looking at the list you must have noticed that Doge is no longer there & many coins which were  way below came up super fast. But will they hold their places in 2019?
What coins will be on top 10 in year 2019?

Tezos along with Bancor are both icos that Tim d-RAPER put his name on to cash in on the ico craze. I'm sure he made a ton off both, but just look at their pathetic performance for the poor ico participants.
When you see the name Tim d-RAPER attached to a crypt project, run away.

You are basically predicting the market is going to remain almost static since almost all of those coins are already on the top 10, but I do not see TRON, EOS or Tether being able to remain in the top 10, this is true especially for tether since many are buying it to avoid losses and when the market begins to show some growth everyone will get out of it, I also do not agree with having the two versions of bitcoin cash at the top, only one will be there and will survive and the other will probably fade away.

List will not change a lot from now, bitcoin will stay where it is forever, others will be behind. People complicate too much, looking for some new great opportunity that will make them rich. There isn't special secret answer, most of the coins will rise eventually, which one will go higher than others is impossible to say.
Bet on the coins you like, have balls to invest when others are panicking around, believe when everything around is falling apart, and who survive all that will be rewarded in the end, who doesn't believe in crypto and wish just to make profit will probably have bad experience.

Which Coins will be the top 10 on market cap in 2019?

Some useless Bitcoin forks.
Some shitty premined scammed ICO tokens where 1% of tokens ever see market and the rest just boost their marketcap.
Some centralized shit that is useless for just anyone and is already there that was made out of thin air and given to exchanges and random rich people.
Some stable coins

Um, that's not how stablecoins work. Where is going to soar to? From $0.99 to $1.01?

Regardless, unless there has been some huge development in the last week or so I am unaware of, USDT are still refusing an external audit and therefore there is absolutely zero proof that they are actually backed up 1:1 with USD as they claim.

I don't really understand why any stablecoin is listed on there. They should have a separate section for people who are interested in their circulation and volumes. I regard them as centralised utilities in the main.

This will be my top picks for the 10 best coins in 2019.
1. BTC (admit it, BTC will still be irrepleceable and even if it cointinues to decline, it will have so much to go.
2. LTC
3. USDT ( continues to be on a stable position for the past months.)
4. BCH
5. XRP
I cannot think of the other half right now but all I know, that these coins above will soar beyond expected this 2019.

It's really amazing how rapidly the list turns into absolute shit, even the top 20. It's like literally nothing has been learnt, and it hasn't.

Of that list I can't see EOS lasting. All it has is its wash trading. Other than that it seems like a shit and broken database. And I truly hope the Bcashes bugger off but that's doubtful.

I will vote for NEM returning to the top 10 even though I'm biased. It's ticking away. It works. It's funded. It's been top 5 in the past. New upgrades are on the way and new leadership is in place.

XMR has more virtues than coins currently above it too.

If we return to total deadness anything built on hype is going to fade badly. What'll be left is the solid old stagers that didn't promise the world. They just chose to keep on chugging.

I don't think bitcoin sv will be around the top 10 for a long time. I think it will be more like btc, eth, xrp, stellar, tether, eos, litecoin, tron, bnb, iota. That is at least some what legit coins that could actually make a difference in the crypto market.

I mean bitcoin cash never made any difference and it was just because some guys wanted to get rich with it and actually make their mining worth something but afterwards it just became a trading bot coin which was bought and sold purely based on trading indicators. Plus they spent money on keeping it alive as well. Now that its divided I think it will be even wrose and they will be going out of the top 10 eventually. They can't fund this forever. Tron is the only I am not entirely sure but they have been getting some blockchain attention so they have a chance to stay there.

Ignoring the fact that marketcap is an arbitrary statistic, and a poor way to rank cryptocurrencies, half the coins currently in the top 10 are scams. Both Bitcoin Cash forks exist only to make some quick and easy money for Ver and Wright. XRP is centralized. Tether isn't actually backed up by any fiat and they continue to refuse to allow an independent audit. Tron is vaporware. EOS is a centralized, corrupt, scam that prints new tokens out of thin air on a daily basis. All these coins will disappear out of the top 10 at some point.

Monero should definitely regain its top 10 status. It is one of the few altcoins that has a good, working product, with constant development and updates, and fills a niche that bitcoin doesn't

We can call this year the year of Hard-fork manipulation. There has been a lot of manipulation using that name.

I expect to leave many of these shit-coins before the end of next year against the rise of some new coins, BCH & BSV will finish each other and may be replaced by Monero or Dash.

Future manipulation will be using stablecoins, we will see many of them in the future.

additionally every year someone comes up with a better plan to manipulate market capitalization with their premined supply (like etherum for last 2 years) and takes the top ranking places below bitcoin.
I agree with you. Cheesy

I am sure that the list will change in 2019 as we know that there are many projects continue to reach their goals. Perhaps, we see that list right now, but we don't know if the record stills the same in 2019. But bitcoin still on the number one on that list and the second until the top ten list will always change. It is difficult to know which coins that will replace the other coins because every coin in the top ten list will get the same opportunity to increase their position. So lets we wait for what will happen in 2019.
