All over the world now bitcoin has been heard in all major countries around the globe. In my assessment on this matter I think
China is the leading country in Bitcoin adoption, due to they have a big average of bitcoin mining farm over the entire world.

Rich countries like Japan and Singapore have a chance of bigger adaptation on Cryptocurrency, Japan is known for its new invention and they're one of the leading countries on innovation, adapting on the technology of Blockchain is a no question, they're surely using it on monetization

Many people say that the US are septics about cryptos but yet the majority of companies are based there. So?
Others talk about Malta as a pioneer but excuse me, how many companies do you know operating in Malta? 2? Binance and another one? This is not at all what I call a pioneer country.

We are talking about the BTC adoption and not the BTC trading adoption so I don't see any use to look at the exchanges volumes, we shall consider the real uses and I would rather rely on the stats from localbitcoin (posted earlier)

There's a lot of factors that we need to consider, like regulations and the volumes of trades for a particular country to say which one is leading. But probably countries like Japan, South Korea, Malta, US, UK or Canada or even Germany and Singapore will have a strong amount of crypto adoption.

It is easy to sense the attitude of different governments and sometimes sub-regions towards digital currencies. For instance, the Indian sub-region is antagonistic (take another look at Pakistan and India, we may even add China). Europe is tolerant but cautious, the US skeptical and aloof, most third world countries looking out for dominant trend, those countries with bad economies accomodating to the point of embrace (Iran, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, etc). Now looking at this article, https://cryptoinfowatch.com/japan-and-australia-continue-to-make-giant-strides-in-crypto-adoption-for-travelers/ it seems the far east are ahead but not quite sure judging from what's happening in the Baltics and Eastern Europe. What's the rate of adoption in your country?

The United states of America , Canada , UK and Australia are the leading countries adopting bitcoin. These are the countries which have the most  bitcoin holders  and users. They have the most exchanges companies  for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies  legally.

If we will have a reference through: https://coin.dance/volume/localbitcoins

It's about the volume on localbitcoins per country. This will give you an idea on which countries are doing well with bitcoin and I think its a good reference through localbitcoins though we can still consider other resource.

We have our own basis and opinions on what countries are leading the bitcoin adoption. And that depends on the news that we've been hearing out through news channel about the acceptance and regulations like news from Malta.

Yes 3rd world countries are embracing the bitcoins more than the first world countries. They are embracing cryptocurrencies or any other currencies like USD or Euros this due too bad economies, inflation, sanctions and bad economic politics and corruption of their governments the perfect example for that, of course, is Venezuela… Venezuela it is now the 3rd country in the world that trades bitcoins the 1st is the United States and the 2nd Russia and the 4th United Kingdom

That fact for third countries is true. They don't have nothing to lose and probably think Bitcoin might help them. They are not so worried about regulation and legitimity of Bitcoin.
Still I wouldn't agree that USA, Russia and UK are leading countries. Maybe yes regarding the volume of trading but if we look at fornal support, regulation and adoption of Bitcoin then to my opinion among first countries would be Japan, Singapoure and Netherlands.

in Asia, maybe Japan and Korea are still the highest adopting crypto. because developed countries will continue to be open to new technology.

I've watched documentary about bitcoin recently and Japan has adopted this widely that even their hotels and musicians are already accepting bitcoin. They do have  restaurants accepting bitcoin which most of those who uses bitcoin gather there just to meet up. Interesting that we don't see it much to other countries that are so fond of it but maybe Malta has also these kind of restaurants.

3rd world countries I think tend to embrace this technology more as its an escape route for them from poverty,at least so they think, though they have got a few constraints ranging from lack of understanding of the network,to lack of trading capital etc
I think to me the Asians are the ones Most involved in the cryptocurrency network and the adoption of the network spreads faster over there

In my opinion there are 3 countries that are the highest in bitcoin adoption among those are Russia, Japan and South Korea. But I prefer Japan as the country that pioneered the use of bitcoin not only in the internet but used in the real world there have been many outlets there that have supported bitcoin payments.

We have a bit of a strange situation here, where the developing countries are seeing the full potential of this technology, but they are cautious with the regulations, because they still want to protect the old Fiat system.

Then we have dictators in third world countries that wants to hang onto the power they have over their citizens finances and the institutions that control it and the people wanting their freedom from these corrupt governments.

We also have the elites in control of the financial system, that does not want Bitcoin to succeed and they have control over some governments.   Roll Eyes

Japan seems to be the most open minded government at the moment.  Wink

I think Russia is better in this respect. They have Ethereum, which is currently the most successful altcoin. In addition, I think China, Japan, South Korea and other East Asian countries have also made great contributions to crypto.
In contrast, the United States, Europe and other countries are lagging behind the development of crypto, but I believe they will lead soon.

There is trouble abrewing
i think it is hard to say, there are so many countries that are obviously adopting bitcoin more than others such as Japan that was mentioned and a couple of more like Germany, Switzerland, Australia,... but then we see some big adoption cases in some other countries that you don't think is possible. like the Venezuela or many of the African countries and some other third world countries in the middle east. so it is hard to say which one is in the lead in my opinion.

 https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/042415/10-cities-leading-bitcoin-adoption.asp

I don't know why Malta isn't on the list, even though if we saw the previous event, many projects and even MBS were held there. MBS could be proof that Malta is worthy of being one of the countries that adopted bitcoin. I even don't know why it should be San Francisco

The most advanced country in Bitcoin adoption is definitely Japan. Blockchain related companies in Malta have very favorable conditions for development, so in my opinion shortly it will be leaading country in EU. I also think that the US and Australia are doing very well.

Japan is early country that adopting bitcoin and bitcoin can use as payment in their merchant and restaurant. Different with japan, my country still prohibit bitcoin if used for payment but i think bitcoin in grey area because we can trade bitcoin in our local exchanger and government think its a commodity
