To my point of view there are many countries in the global system trading with Bitcoin it is difficult to say which country trades the most Bitcoin .We can find almost all countries are trading with Bitcoin even if it is not legal and there is no measuring tools to measure which country has the more Bitcoin there are many countries that bring fame to Bitcoin like Vietnam, South Africa, Japan ,India ,USA, Russia etc ; I think that Vietnam is the place where most Bitcoin is used since there are ATM machines for Bitcoin .

I think China and the US will be the two most traded nations. And I was really surprised when China was ranked fifth.

I was also surprised. From what I know the majority of bitcoin on this planet is mined in China.  But if the government sets certain restrictions and limitations then also readings becomes more difficult.  Peer to peer analysis would not show up on such a report anyway, and there is probably the answer.

Searching the web, looking for bitcoin news, I found an interesting infographic that shows "Which country trades the most bitcoin".
The first 3 countries were predictable, but Venezuela? I would never guess.

When i read the Subject of the topic, the first thing i got in mind was "China for sure", but i was terribly wrong, and after see the image i was shocked to see china in 4th place. But after think about it, things have sense, The main economic countries should have the bigger volume, and i think i have a explanation for Venezuela on that list, lets remember Venezuela launch the petro coin some months before, and the gob is behind that coin, so, it have sense to see Venezuela there if they want to backup their coin.

Thanks for share that list, every day is a good day to learn new things  Wink

this is amazing, Venezuela is able to adopt crypto well. I thought that Venezuela could make Venezuela's economy better.

Crypto trading in Venezuela will increase rapidly, volume, volatility, and also the spread in Venezuela will increase for the better in the future.

Venezuela is very enthusiastic, and has a fast development in the crypto world. maduro made a good decision, and it became a solution to make Venezuela rise again.

When Venezuela created Coin Petro, I had predicted that crypto there would grow well and grow quickly.

Venezuela ... ?? I really didn't expect that, silently it turns out that there are many investors and hunters for bitcoin there, maybe there are also supported by their government, so it's only natural that the country is ranked the 4th most bicoin user ...

Of course Venezuela.  If I were one of the wealthy people in a corrupt country like Venezuela, Iran, Turkey, South Africa...  I would have all my money in USD or bitcoin.

Really nice picture and very interesting. I guess for Venezuela this is due to the trouble with their economy and money. As people could not trust their government and their own fiat they invest in btc with is potentially less dangerous for their economy. Also have their own crypto in the country have better highlight on crypto and more people know that it exist and be more accessible.

China is the country that had more investor holding bitcoins until it banned in the country but now I think USA and other Europe countries like Switzerland or France have more interest in bitcoins now than ever.

The Bitcoin trading volumes show that Venezuelans are increasingly turning to Bitcoin to preserve what little wealth they have left and to circumvent oppressive capital controls. That’s why Venezuela now has the fourth highest trading volume in the world for Bitcoin. This statistic is even more remarkable when you consider the difference in wealth between Venezuela and the ‘rest of Europe’ (which report lower trading volumes). America taking the lead followed by Russia then the United Kingdom. I still believe that China have the highest bitcoin trading history due to the fact that the region have been recorded to house the world highest bitcoin mining farm and not only that the ability to have access to high technical knowledge have also aides them to have the toping record of bitcoin trading, but some other countries like the U S also have high record of bitcoin trading.

Hahahahaaaahaaaa! Funny question. I guess its going to be United States of America or probably Venezuela. For the mining of bitcoins too, I know the Asians on top; the Chinese especially are doing so much work. That is my suggestion, I may be wrong anyway.

china for sure before the banning , but after that the bitcoin alocation was buying by people /  investor at argentina and surrounding there

well China didn't ban bitcoin trading, they banned their exchanges from working. that indeed damaged the volume that was going in bitcoin but it  didn't stop it. those who wanted to buy bitcoin has been doing it elsewhere on different exchanges which doesn't show up on stats like this.
Q1
How is it pkssible than? Trading with an exchange that is impossibleto work on?

I can mot imagine how bitcoin trading works without an exchange ban in the county and now still ban until today.

Q2

What is there option? I see a worthless bitcoin that can be use trading but not in a simple exchange?

Also base on what I know the thing rgat Have been ban on the country are bounties in china?

How is it possible? Thanks for the answers in the future.

Record shows that USA, Russia, UK, Venezuela, and China. The top ten accounted for over 86.5% of all trades done on the platform. This seems to indicate uneven Bitcoin adoption rates across the globe.”

There are some legal issues going on in some major countries and hence the volume of Bitcoin trade is lower as compared to the potential of those countries considering the number of Bitcoin users. I believe that China, US and India will e in the top three within next 5 years and current data is not scientifically accurate due to the pending legal issues.

Quated for the picture.

It's because localbitcoins reports the price in usd at the official rate bolivar/usd.
In reality, the volume far is smaller

Switching the chart from BTC to bolivars you will see the difference.

Besides, that's data only for lcoabitcoins, most people in the EU and US don't use local bitcoins but exchanges...to which Venezuelans have no access.

I think this graphic is not actual. China is definately in top 3, definately befor Venezuela. It's the biggest economy in the world, even bigger than the US in my opinion and mine the most Bitcoin.

China has too many advantages to become the country with the most Bitcoin deals. This is a populous country, with many successful people here, such as Shanghai City, many of the projects are developed here, there are lots of works and great machines that help the transaction. Bitcoin is easy. And there are many other minor factors.

Venezuela has one of the lowest electricity prices so that may be a reason they trade so much Bitcoin right now. Mining BTC there costs about 3000$ whereas in EU it costs over 6k.
