"Banking on Bitcoin" is good to watch. I don't know if it's available on youtube but you can watch it on Netflix, it's where I watched it. You can get free 1 month on Netflix, use it if you don't find it on youtube

Quote
Banking on Bitcoin (2016)
Bitcoin is the most disruptive invention since the Internet, and now an ideological battle is underway between fringe utopists and mainstream capitalism. The film shows the players who are defining how this technology will shape our lives

i have seen a few of these documents many of them are bad and do not give real information.
They are looking for suspense and are not interested in checking whether these sources are real or fake.

form what i watch
i recommended Banking on Bitcoin

you can read Deep web is good and i learn from it

Other than that, I prefer spending some time tracking old topics in this forum.

The netflix documentary was pretty good, although it was pretty blank in terms of information for anyone who understands the basics.

But the biggest problem is, that people just believe, and do NOT check the facts and dig deeper into the matter.

Absolutely. And nothing that can be done or said will change their opinion. They have it and they're keeping it no matter what.  I've seen it a thousand times when it comes to crypto.

I'll crack on with my own things and leave them to theirs.

Isn't it sad though when we have to resort to not wanting to educate individuals? Sure I agree the average person who has knowledge about bitcoin would probably shrug it off or not take it in as real. But still it is good to have more people educated on any topic including bitcoin because the discussion can move ahead faster and in a proper manner. Nothing is worse than trying to discuss something but only one person having knowledge about it. I have been talking about bitcoin with my friends for the past few months and at first it sucked but now they have the terminology and follow a few forums and reddits which allows us to have a good conversation now.

tldr sad we gotta not want to educate people but once people learn for themselves discussion can become fun as it has with my friends.

Nope. It's not sad. When you're dealing with a person who responds to a thoughtful and logical explanation with 'tulips ponzi drugs' for the tenth time in a row, life is too short to waste any energy on such a person. We only have so much energy. I'm buggered if I'm devoting it to something as pointless as that.

Both parties end up looking deluded and pathetic, the bitcoin fan for sounding needlessly cultish, the naysayer for refusing to process any straightforward information.

The problem i see is, people believe what they hear/read on the news. Also a negative review has much more impact than a positive one.

Everything has a price. And they are paying for it right now, as Bitcoin is rising and they are still in denial. Hopefully they will learn from the mistake.

I have no interest in attempting to educate anyone any more. Let them believe what they wish to believe. It's not going to make the slightest difference to how this pans out anyway and no matter what they're shown, most of them won't change their mind.

I see this all the time when it's being discussed on non crypto forums. There's one person who actually understands it. Others will continue to refuse to comprehend it no matter what is presented to them. They want their current position confirmed, not changed.

Banking on Bitcoin
Why we like it: Banking on Bitcoin illustrates bitcoin’s resilience, just how diverse the bitcoin community is, and why that’s ultimately a very positive thing.

A must-see, if: you’re curious about the innovation-regulation debate, and where a variety of early adopters stand.

If you’ve already watched The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin, you’ll have the chance to catch up with some of those same notable early adopters here. This recent documentary looks back at big ups and downs since bitcoin’s emergence over 8 years ago. The question of whether a balance between innovation and regulation can be achieved is a big theme throughout. Banking on Bitcoin illustrates the diverse perspectives on these topics, and how the featured pioneers have helped shape the bitcoin community today.

The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin
Premiering at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin was the first time bitcoin took center stage on the big screen. It provides a glimpse into the lives of several early adopters and their devotion to this new form of money. The film is a fantastic beginner-friendly primer that includes an easily digestible explanation of bitcoin. Focusing mainly on the positives, you’ll discover its potential to empower the unbanked and as a tool for financial independence.
