There are a lot of good exchanges. As for me I'm using myetherdelta and waves decktop app with their own exchange, both of it pretty good and simple.
Efirdelta attracts a lot of tokens, but most of them sucks. In addition, I always slow it down, I even stuck a screenshot. On this HitBTC - this is my idol)))

do NOT use bittrex. they've locked people's accounts so that people can't withdraw!? :/ check the complaints on their Twitter page ... https://twitter.com/BittrexExchange

I've found that the following are user friendly secure and fast for usage: Bittrex, Poloniex, Etherdelta, Yobit and HiTBTC.
Yobit and Etherdelta are quite good, fast and secure IMHO.

the exchange that you will use really depends on the type of region you live in. Unfortunately many exchange are kinda restricted to what customers they can serve, each country has their own regulation about which citizen can deposit money and send money to that country, it's really silly but that's what exchanges have to deal with. The best bet for you is to find a local exchange, in other words an exchange that is regional and serves your country. In that way you will be able as well to reduce the fees, because it's usually more expensive to send payments overseas, and you are very likely as well to convert your local currency to a currency that the exchange accepts, which means you'll lose an additional 2-3% in exchange rates. With a local exchange provider you won't have these issues.

What exchanger do you think is best for trading altcoins?
So many good exchanges are for altcoins. But their commission is different. I am using etherdelta transaction fee is comparative low and good services.

Yes your right, there's so many site that can exchanges our coin or altcoin. But, Bittrex is one of my favorite site when it come to change my coin or altcoin. Because it's easy to use and it so secure.

What i have been using is bittrex its simple and newbie friendly, but of course a lot of exchanges has pros and cons you can try them out if you are and choose whatever you are comfortable with.

Bittrex is also my suggestion as very good exchanger. So many choice of altcoin and big volume are making this exchange is my favorit.
In other exchange also you can choose poloniex. It is also good but not many choice as many as bittrex.

I only use 2 exchanges and they are Poloniex and Bittrex

They work very well but you need to verify with your passport if you want to withdraw your coin out of bittrex

And for poloniex you have a limit of 2000 usd a day

I am using Bittrex, before this I was using Poloniex. On bittrex there are more cryptos listed which you may trade with so more possibilities for earnings.

I liked the binance. Convenient interface, quick support. Sometimes use etherdelta, but very rarely.

There are a few Exchanges that you can use, some work faster than others, some more reliable, some more secure and others are more responsive in terms of support too.

Bittrex
Poloniex
Yobit
Etherdelta
CoinExchange
HiTBTC
Cryptopia

These are the most used.

I registered at HitBTC a week ago, my choice fall on them cause of their very
wide offer of different alt-coins and many new tokens and ICO`s. I have many
tokens, I actively participate in different air-drops and most of them could be
found on this exchange site.
Many people here have positive comments about HitBTC. For now I do not have
any complaints on them. I like how everything looks like, this is my first time to register
on exchange site, and I will see how is that going.
