Provably fair is definitely one thing you have to check, without provably fair there is no reason to play somewhere, why would anyone want to play in a place where you have no idea if you are being scammed or not when there are so many options that give you the guarantee that you are not scammed.
However, even with that in mind the design plays a big role for me, I am about to spend hours and hours on a site gambling my money away and going to most likely lose all I deposited (which mostly happens
