I would say that all of the casino games are games of chance and none falls in the game of skill. Yeah Poker is a bit tricky and people think if you have the skill you are better at playing poker, which is not correct in my point of view.
Usually, poker is not an easy game for someone who never played it first. People will first learn about poker and think that it is a skill based game.

This is what I think.

It's actually a game of both but to weigh these two, it all ends up with a game of skill. Because if even you're not lucky with your cards and if you're skilled in bluffing, that means that even having weak cards, you can still turn the situation and win against those high cards if they're scared of you bluffing them.

I've never played poker before, so in all honestly, I can't tell if it's a game of chance or skill, but what I do know is that most games that has to do with cards are mostly games of skill, where the gambler's knowledge and skill will be the determinant to whether he or she wins or loses the game..

Yes, and because of the pandemic, crypto and online gambling balloon to a massive proportions, we have seen a lot of casinos being born around that time and still up to this day, they have their signature campaigns here and becoming bigger than ever. All of them are even competing to get personalities as their brand ambassador and athletes as well and for sure it will still increase in the next 5-10 years. Casinos are going to popup in this niche and there will be competitions.

Slots could be one of the top most played games because you don't need skills and it's easy to learn, you just have to put your money in any slots of your choosing, it has hundreds of themes that a normal gambler can choose, enjoy, easy as that.

Blackjack and Baccarat, for those who love card games obviously, they can either go bet live with dealer or just simply video blackjack.

Poker, we are all familiar with it, it's a skill game no matter what angle you look at it.

I agree with what you mentioned, OP.

A game of chance involves a series of games where you would rely on absolute luck- no skill involved just pure luck. An example of a game that fits in this category is slots due to its nature where you pull a level and hope for the best; whereby a game of skill relies on a series of techniques in order to at least gain a small advantage depending on your decisions. An example of this are poker, blackjack, and other card games where it involves you deciding.

If there is another game that involves a game of skills, I would say is sports-betting. It is more of a game of skill due to the technicalities and considerations that a person would think before choosing a team on which to bet on.

I think I will have to disagree with the second stats as I feel and know every gambling is under the basis of how lucky you are because even after gathering enough stats in order to place a bet you will still have to be lucky for the actual stats to have a positive outcome so I feel bought are a game of chance. I don't believe any gamblers have skills he or she is using to execute a special winning by him, its just one big whole circle of luck. There is every chance and possibility that you can loose or win a bet on slots and poker.

That's true for Poker and I think the least luck is involved when you play at live tournaments and are mentally very strong so you don't go tilt. When you play online it is tougher in my opinion as people can have a bot running and you just don't know it. There are many softwares that have become popular. Years ago there were newbies around and if you could identify them, you could actually also benefit from it. That potential has declined significantly over the years.

Beside Poker here every other game is a game of chance and yes I know about Blackjack that you remember and count the cards but that in online casinos have been eliminated as they play with a big number of card decks and not like traditional Blackjack we are used to when we play in a physical casino,so this makes also Blackjack a game of chance.Slot machines are the devil in person,exactly the devil in person,they deceive you in the worse possible way and you end up losing a huge amount of money if you are not careful there,I am talking from personal experience,every time I am winning with a minimal bet the moment I raise it,it is game over really fast.Baccarat don't know as I have never played it.

I think all of them are games of chance, basically random with the exception of Blackjack and Poker which can have a component of skill which my depend on the player to read the physical cues of their foes, in order to take advantage of it.

I believe that is one of the reasons there are people who rather to play live Poker or blackjack, instead their virtual/electronic equivalents.
The live poker tournaments can be more entertaining, in my humble opinion.

It's obvious and doesn't need much discussion - which games have people been able to master over entire lifetimes and turn a profit? It's basically only poker on that list, which still includes an element of chance but it can be overruled in the long run by skilled players. A truly skilled poker player can read others around them, subtly price up bets to determine value, bluff their hands if positioned perfectly and generally take many profitable steps. However blackjack (not including card counting which will get you ejected) will always favor the house in the long run, as the dealer will have a fixed play up to 16 or 17. Slots are a farce and nothing other than flashing lights, noises and graphics trying to visually impress.

Not really. A good player will fold instantly after getting cards that don't promise anything and the only thing they use is the blind which often is just a few dollars.
You can keep folding for a long time and then win once and reset everything. This is something you can't do playing dice, unless you martingale.
I agree with OP that poker is a game of skill but most games only depend on your luck.

For now, Slots is a game that is more popular than the games on your list. because, slots do not require skill to play them. As for Blackjack, at least this game isn't like you're playing slots. you also need experience, it can also involve technique even though it doesn't require extra skills like playing poker.
Well, Baccarat is the game that I like the most, this game is easy, simple, but requires a very high level of patience. at least, in a game of Baccarat, one has to be more careful. because of this game, it will often involve you being a little disturbed emotionally.

Blackjack is a game of skill, with a bit of luck mixed into it, as with most of the games you play in the casino really. On the other hand, Dice games are exclusively based upon chance and are not (at least I hope) determined by any parameter or rule that is set upon by the casino or the players. Frankly enough you could look at every casino and you'd find that most card games are based upon chance, with blackjack and poker being exclusively based on skills, and even those two still have some element of luck that put into play, that could oftentimes determine the outcome of your game.

This question has been answered on this forum.

Slot: think about it, what could be the ability... nothing, the ability in this case is not intrinsic to the game, but to the player, e.g. in his good management of the bets, his budget to gambling etc.

The rest, BJ, Baccarat may require numerical skills, but if you have them, you probably don't play BJ, lol, but obviously they do require experience and skill.
