In my opinion, altcoins that are suitable for long-term hodl are binance coin, ethereum and chainlink maybe this is an option for your long-term altcoin in 2021
Chainlink is very good for long-term investment because the movement is relatively slow and rarely goes down from the initial price to enter the market, which indicates that Chainlink token is quite tough. other than that, actually the top-rated altcoins are still a promising investment. 
of course my choice is still Vsys until 2021, I know vsys is still rarely discussed,

As long as bitcoin is still keep its bullish momentum and I'm sure those coins will go the moon at the first quarter of next year. It looks like another pump will come soon to make bitcoin will be surpassing 17k rate.
This time institutional investors are also feeling bullish with bitcoin. I doubt if ethereum will follow this momentum consider ethereum 2.0 being so far from our expectation.
The bullish trend of major crypto are about to begin soon. I can't be patience to see bitcoin to break its OLD ATH again.
I think that you should also add the coin like LINK dot and some more major coins.
It's usually the old coins that will be good to hold for they have already moon during the previous Bullrun. Just to mention like WAVES, Stratis, EOS, and Lisk. For the new ones, there are like UNI, SNX and Polkadot.
I think if there really will be a huge bullrun, most altcoins I think will be pumped. All coins are that are paired to BTC will sure go up.

I'll go with Chainlink, ETH and bitcoin. These 3 coins are the top 3 coins for me that can give us huge gains in next year. I actually keep acquiring these coins because if I have a lot of these coins, my gains will increase more. There are a lot of coins out there that can give you high gains but make sure that if you will buy a worth it cryptocurrencies where it already proved that it can handle huge dump in the market for you to do holding successfully.

simple question and simped to answered , just buy bitcoin and ethereum and you will earn gain in 2021. look at bitcoin and ethereum price now , price start move steadly. these coins also have lower risk if compared to another coins especially new coin in market ,or token in uniswap exchange. for beginer investors better to buy it.
investing in bitcoin now is too risky in my opinion because the price is too high and fear that when bear season comes it will do a lot of harm but if for ethereum i totally agree because ethereum price is not too hight and has a litle risk of loss besides that, ethereum will have new updates certainly will make Ethereum prices go up
