Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot

And is there any other alternatives

I have 4k btc to invest

I don't get why those even are your only options, because If you have to ask you clearly don't understand how they work and what are the risks, and how they are not even comparable.

But in short: If you trust a trader enough to copy their trades you are taking a risk if the trader is good enough. They could have been just lucky in the past.

But what ever you do, don't invest in the bot. You will eventually lose with that.

OK then tell me another options

None, both are the same because bots works base on the program it is designed to run on and these are usually from people’s opinions and it is risky.

The best alternative is to keep calm and learn the trading yourself which is less risky because you knew when to pull out and so on.

As for now without proper training trading knowledge I wound advice you just hold some bitcoin with the funds you have either by buying through the DCA method. And then you can continue to learn your trading skills

Bot has its options and feature so it depends on who is setting up the bots.  The function of a bot is dependent on the input of the user so I don't think it is risky for a veteran user of bot but yes it is somehow risky for a new user due to not being familiar with the application.

Between bot and copy trading, I think it is better to learn how to setup a bot than copy trading since if we are knowledgeable enough with the market, we can then set our bot according to what we learn and possible insight of the future trading.  While copying is limited to the action of the account being copied.

I would also advice @OP to familiarize himself to trading and gain enough knowledge to determine the possibilities by just reading the market price movement.

Bot should only be a support tool for us, we still have to analyze and make our own judgments about the market, and bots can't analyze and automatically earn money for us. It seems that he is a newbie and does not have any knowledge of the market or trading, so I think that neither bots nor copy trading is suitable for him.

The only way is for him to learn everything about trading by himself if he really wants to make money from trading. There will not be any method without knowledge or relying on others that can make a profit.

Bitcoin Bottom was at $15.4k
Both are wrong, I would recommend to spend that $4k on trading it yourself, 1% each trade and learn how to trade yourself from many free resources which are available over on the internet.

Here are some basic things you should know to begin with:
1. Support / Resistance
2. Price Action
3. RSI, MACD, Stochastic RSI
4. VWAP, Volume

Good Luck! Don't spend on bots.

Copy trading is good than a bot in my understanding. However a bot never have the thinking same as the human minds. For this reason I prefer copy trading which is really good. To find the right person is the must, and the same will give us better learning and the skills to make better predictions.

Bots were pre assigned with specific commands and they execute is continuously. So, it also have the advantage in some form. This means for varying needs different methods can be applied.

It depends on your trading skills and knowledge.
If you're a skilled trader and have good trading experience, using bots has a positive effect on your trading activity.
When using a bot for trading offers automation and the potential for more precise execution of trades, these bots can be programmed with specific strategies and algorithms to make decisions based on market conditions.  This option is suitable if you have deep knowledge and skills in trading strategies and want to maintain more control over your investments.
But, there's a big but that I mentioned ahead, it requires technical knowledge to set up and monitor the bot effectively.

If you're new to crypto and have zero knowledge, I would prefer to hold your Bitcoin as your investment for a long period of time.
Because both options you've said are very risky.

I wouldn’t recommend either of them. There are so many scam accounts and fake traders who claim to be successful from crypto trading, they guarantee their trading bot is 100% efficient and has no risk, which is false btw. Why entrust your money to someone else to trade for you, you could learn how to trade from a professional with the money you’re about to spend on a bot. Have you considered simply hodling your 4k bitcoins? It’s a much safer and better option than what you have in mind. This strategy will not work if you’re looking for something more fast paced and quick results.

Bad idea to reveal such information, you will be fine as there is no connection with your identity to your forum account but expect scammers to slide in your dms with investment opportunities.

I haven't used both for a long time, but of the two options do you have the skills to run between copy trading and bots?
Have you studied that? What about spot trading is it better or better than both?

If you already have $4K capital in BTC why choose to trade, I think a lot more do hold BTC than they trade or any other type.
I know it's everyone's taste, but I prefer investing in bitcoin to get to the next halving.

I chose neither, although either option has advantages over the comparison above. But you are very lucky to have $4k for initial investment and you are in the right market moment to believe in bitcoin investment for long term. IMO

I recommend that you learn the basics of investing in crypto assets before planning to use the funds for long-term trading or investing. So, don't rush to choose a bot or copy trading if you don't have market analysis skills because you will make the wrong decision regarding your investment. Remember that Copy trading or bot providers do not risk your losses.

And why would you stake your money in bot or into someone's move? Both of your option is not actually good, its your own money your risking so it should be your own decision wether you make a call in Bitcoin. You wouldn't gain anything from the two, you'll have to invest at yourself first by studying and gaining knowledge then you could start by small amount first so you can slowly be familiar on the system in the Bitcoin. Trust me relying into someone or bot is not a good idea. Just do your own research, and don't invest money that you can't afford to lose.

If I need to choose between the two I would choose to copy trading but both of this are not great, copy trading wasn't really that bad since you're going to copy the trading of the people who makes a lot of profit so you could easily guarantee that you're not going to lose money since they are probably the most professional trader but if you really want to invest on cryptocurrency or Bitcoin the first rule is you should be the one that is going to do it, not like you're going to invest on someone who is a trader and then give them your money letting them trade for you, if you do that there is a good chance that you're just going to lose your money.

I mean I see a lot of trading bots already sometimes these bots are lucky and able to create some profit but most of the time they just lose the trading, I don't think there was an accurate bot that could easily predict the market if there was then bot traders I guess was already rich, but it was not so just don't do bot trading to avoid losing money.

The bot is way better than copy trading if you know what strategy you can set up on the bot but if you are a newbie using a bot is very risky if you don't know any strategy. So better learn to trade first before going to use trading bots I have the best source where to learn.

Both aren’t a choice to pick from. Why?
You never get to do any of the intellectual work and you learn nothing from either copy trading or letting a bot handle your trading for you.
In both methods, there could be a swift change and your likely not to get notified, don’t get to change your stands and consequently, be met with loses that would be beyond your comprehension or you just can’t accept.

You’ve got $4k, good. Perhaps you could invest it in some familiar project or investment. It mustn’t be crypto or crypto related but should you be needing a crypto investment, you could as well buy bitcoin and hodl. The halving isn’t far now and speculations on a bullrun could make your investment worth the while.

Both copy trading and using a trading bot are not the best options for you!

Since you are new to Bitcoin, I will suggest you take your time and learn some basics about Bitcoin before you start your investment because trading bots work based on how they are programmed; likewise, copy trading too.

Use this to get some basic knowledge on how Bitcoin works and some ways to keep your coin safe. Once you have learned a lot, you will decide what to do next, but I will advise you to buy and hold your Bitcoin before you gain adequate knowledge of Bitcoin trading.

what more can i say, better walk slow in this market so you won't regret later on. this is the usual problem of most newbies in this market. they want to get huge profits at a short period of time so they want to find the fastest route to earn profits.
however, most of the time, such route is detrimental to their funds. as they can easily be liquidated if they are too late to respond to the market movement.

If you used copy trading, then obviously, you will not learn trading itself as you will rely to those traders, so you don't have total control.

If you bot, then you need to set up it's parameters, although others might guide you, but still it will be based on what you tell it to do for you.

So why not just learn trading itself? there are a lot of successful traders that started from nothing. But they have persevere, spend a lot of time learning and educating themselves in order to win in the end.

But if you really doesn't want to complicate things then why not just buy BTC and then hold till the next bull run?

If you are asking which one is better for you, then maybe you should not trade.

Trading is not like investing that you just have to buy the coins and just store it safe, trading is more complicated than that and you have to actually learn how to trade, so if you don't know what you are doing, hold that BTC you have.

Trading discussion board is better for your thread, so you can interact with other active traders, move it there.
