Uniswap will probably be the best defi project in the year. It has already gathered so much attention already in 2020 and it looks like it is going to be "the" decentralized exchange in crypto world, it is going to have a great governance token that allows people to vote on stuff like getting paid as well, so I assume it could actually become bigger and bigger.
Of course I can't guarantee anything but it looks like it is doing pretty fine for itself right now and I feel like it is going to do a bit better in the 2021 as well, the future is filled with potential for them and they are really doing nothing short of amazing work. I can't say when it will happen exactly but it is on the right path. Uniswap should just focus on development and rest will come.

Uniswap and Chainlink are the best followed by Yearn Finance, many DeFi projects are copying this DeFi projects on my list today and sti many investors are investing money on them, the end will be so brutal for many DeFi projects, why some are still profitable today is because of btc bullrun
Crypto market this year has been very exciting especially when Andre C introduces the YFI project which is truly a phenomenal one gaining a lot of volume in the first few weeks surpassing many top 200 projects in market cap many more copy cat arises until today this yield farming thing will not end this year and I believe this will still very active in the next year with new feature and strategy in every new projects.
Uniswap no doubt, from my point of view, they are the one who starts the current DeFi wave that we know now, and it also affect other Crypto. The price might not get as-high-as Yearn Finance, and Uniswap has slightly bigger market-cap. But, after the long and exhausting effort of many DEX, Uniswap finally makes it. They are now in the top 10 exchange based on web traffic, and their traffic keeps on raising.
the real question that runs in my mind is will there still be a defi next year because afaik per year there was always a new type of funding that comes out but if ever defi will still be there , defi are going to be silent just like previous type of funding . in short for me there will be no best defi anymore but dont take that seriously , im not here to offend everybody , im not here to offend defi lovers . since we are still in the 2020 and defi was still relevant this time , i can give my best pick . that can be uni,/uniswap and yfi
Crypto projects are mostly DeFi by nature, but the term has recently become a hot trend in the market. Currently most of those projects are down at least 50% from the ATH price, so I think its trend is over, we will have to wait and see what the new trend of 2021 is.
In recent months, the Defi project has become one of the attractions for investors to invest their money and this positive trend has had a quite positive impact on the development of bitcoin prices and other altcoins in the market, at that time, the Defi project seemed to give a new breath to the rise of cryptocurrency slowly, but now it seems as if the Defi project is also starting to go down along with some fraud that occurs and of course it's pretty good and scammers are starting to eye some official token protocols for them to use as their means of fraud.
ChainLink and Avalanche have a strong place in my heart simply because of the team seriousness and also the projects utilities, if you are looking for the best here you have it, whatever happens in the future can't be predict right now but I'm so sure this projects will be around for long time
I think this is subjective, some defi project may be good but their price have not appreciate while others are not that good in terms of service but their price is very high, but from the look of things and popular demand by the defi community i would say wrapped btc, yearn.finance and Aave, just my opinion, i could be wrong, this is base on my observation, don't hold any of the defi mentioned but i see wrapped btc is per with btc in price.
DeFi operates in a highly volatile, so unpredictable market and also it's vulnerability, one glitch can lead to huge loss of funds, another thing to be worried about is yield farming which is actually the main thing that makes DeFi exploded few weeks ago, if care is not taken scammers can easily scam people because of DeFi farming use case
DeFi projects are not safe for those who don't know how to do good research, they are highly profitable and highly dangerous at the same time, presently all the major hacks that took place this year are on DeFi projects, why? The answer is contract vulnerability

I don't know if the DeFi project will last long but nowadays there are many DeFi projects that claim they are the best. My advice is to do some more research and buy when you are sure.
I have only Four DeFi projects in mind that can still perform very well in the coming years

4. YFI
5. UNISWAP

Those Defi projects that you mentioned are already successful and it seems the Chainlink is still the number 1 Defi project in Coinmarketcap. That's quite true that some people use the Defi hype to scam people like after they raised a huge amount of money, they will run or they even dump the tokens. Some are just taking advantage of it, creating projects that don't even have a real use case and just a pure scheme to deceive others. But there are still good and promising Defi projects out there we just need to find it. 1. COMP

My advice is to understand the concept of a DeFi project very well before investing money on them, many DeFi projects are money grabbers in disguise and later they will surely drown, make sure the DeFi projects have useful utilities not just 300% farming rewards
For me, the best defi project for the next year will be the same as the best defi project this year. YFI, UNI, BSC, and many legit defi projects will become the best defi for the next year because these defi projects have a lot of potentials.
I remember there were some underrated defi projects like LINK, and compound but these defi were performing so well too.
Next year will become another golden time for defi as people will be gradually migrating from the centralized traditional financial system to the automated financial system like defi.

I do not have any idea on current defi projects that will be launch next year but I have an idea on the defi projects that been listed in a lot of exchanges like YFI and Chainlink. I recently trade those 2 defi because of their good market structure. I actually gain 32% in just 2 days when the YFI breaks its previous resistance and it now became a support because of the role reversal. I usually avoid defi projects that recently listed because those are the moments where the volatility is so high where majority of the defi are dumping after they listed it in some exchanges. If you are not a risk taker then probably do not try to make investment in defi because for sure you will regret especially if you do not have guts to lose money.
Just put money in defi projects that you can afford to lose, do not try to put your hard earned money because once you lose it, it can affect your psychological capital that can result into quitting in your investing or trading journey. Make a research first and try to analyze the chart before entering in a defi projects.

The Best DeFi Project for 2021 can be predicted or said for now. For Me, Most DeFi projects are still in their very early stage. So let's wait for 2021 to come and we will be able to know some good DeFi projects by then.
I also still can't predict the best defi coins in 2021 because now many defi projects have sprung up, and I'm not sure the defi project will survive or not in 2021, for now I only keep DIA defi coins in my wallet
Yearn finance has dominated the DeFi this year but for 2021 I will take a chance with DeFi Yield Protocol (DYP) the features of its project is very unique and have a strong foundation and the project is backed with ethereum mining farm so no need for softcap and hardcap in their sale. DYP is my 2021 DeFi.
Everyone is having a different opinion and i am not an big expert on the Defi market and i got attracted with the pump and dump and having known the market in the past and how well i am aware of the situation i thought of experimenting with some coins and i am farming some coins and lets see how far it can go and it would be fun to make some profit when the market hits the ceiling.

Chainlink should be out of topic, so we can't compare it with other coins. DIA is my second choice. My opinion is for future DeFi pump, new legit DeFi projects. Radix projects are also a good project. We can finish our calculations on listed DeFi projects but new altcoins are highly demandable. All investors were jumping on new altcoins as long as hype exists. I want to know which is for you the best DeFi project for 2021.

I do not like UNI swap. A unique project that was able to rise on a par with centralized exchanges.
