I never used mycelium too. I'm staying with electrum but if you are only asking about the safety of mycelium.

It's a good wallet and you can trust them with your funds.

Personally, I've been very happy with Electrum over the years. A very lightweight client, but secure, with recoverable seed. And no advertising. Tongue It's usually what I recommend to friends who are just starting out.

Not only you but me either, easy to use and convenient.

I've never used Mycelium, personally. It appears on Bitcoin.org > Choose your wallet, so it should be okay. I've always heard good things, but I had no idea that advertising was included:

Dodgy looking advertising is sneaking into it now which is something I don't like, but I can live with it.

I've been using it for several years without any issues at all. My main issue, throwing away fees because I couldn't decide the amount myself, was sorted out in the last few days.

Dodgy looking advertising is sneaking into it now which is something I don't like, but I can live with it.
