If you are looking for a decentralized exchange there are many, but I recommend this:
1. Forkdelta
2. Etherdelta
3. Idex

I use Etherdelta most often because there are changes there, I moved to forkdelta. Please try. Good luck
Among those three decentralized exchange, I prefer to transact on IDEX due to have a user friendly interface and fast transaction. So far I don't have issues on the exchanges.

Hi All,

I am looking for suggestions to which decentralized exchange to use. I am not a fan of centralized exchanges, so help me out here.
Many thanks in advance.

You may find Kyber Network and Bancor as the best DEX now. IDEX is actually not a truly DEX.

Maybe I'm a fool, well, or a brave man, but I prefer the good old EtherDelta. Easy to use, popular, maybe sometimes the pricing is amazing and the volumes are not cosmic, but I still like

The first time I tried to used etherdelta, it asked my private key which made me not use it instead. There were issues about it which people complained about their account getting hacked. Must be the reason why forkdelta was created because it will allow you to create an account where you have the private key yourself. Fordelta is much safer.

Hey thorswap, don't post consecutively with your exchange. You can include all of your replies to one thread.

It's very clear that what's the favorite decentralized exchange of most and I have to agree with that. I can't find any other and better DEX than idex.market. It's very easy to use and there's no too much drama when you are registering and trading in there.
Hi livingfree, advice accepted. No offense, but if you did visit THORSWAP, you would find that there's no drama at all. We only want to provide the best decentralized exchange service for all cryptos holders. What's more, it's account free comparing with Idex. I don't think I can change your point of view, I just want to tell the truth.
Its okay to hear what you can say about your DEX and I understand that you are promoting it but at least follow the forum's rule. IDEX's account is free and every other DEX's account is also for free so there's no difference between your site and to others. I won't visit thorswap but good luck to your exchange if there's a chance that I'll try to use it, I'll let you know and will probably give a feed back soon.

^ spamming replies with his own exchange just to get users is very sad  Cry

I do prefer IDEX than on using etherdelta when it comes to dex and as you said i do love since there no drama and tendency of mistakes on your trading activity is less because the UI is too user friendly unlike any others.

Oh, no, not just anything, EtherDelta, waited for deposit on the deposit for about 8 hours and about the same amount for withdrawal, everything is not convenient, the interface is not user-friendly, the speed is terrible. The best choice for me is IDEX

EtherDelta is good as you can trade there literally any token, but in the same time not user-friendly at all. It took some time for me to figure out everything there. And it makes no sense to buy or sell there little amount because of gas fee you have to pay.

I can suggest idex because there are great volumes. And also compare to ED and FD they just charge gas very cheap base in the ethergas required. You be must be aware also that there is taker and maker system, it means if you're selling(taker) the token must have a minimum total amount of .15 ETH and if your a maker(buyer) min. Required amount is .05.
I really like this exchange. At least - this is the best that exists at the moment. There are good volumes on the exchange and it does not freeze like other decentralized exchanges.
IDEX is not a bad exchange for a decentralized exchange at all except for the fact that some times, lack of trading volume, as well as the usable part of it can be very exasperating some times.

I know at least, we still have some good ones that can be manageable like this IDEX, but at the same time, it is just about being manageable and nothing else. For now, I really do not have much to write home about in the aspect of decentralized exchanges over all, maybe in the long run, we will get there, but for now, the experience is not that sweet.

EOS
-DOBI trade
-OKEx
-Huobi

Bitcoin
-Bitfinex
-Binance
-Bithumb

Thanks! What about ETH platforms?
I think that for the Ethereum platform I am more comfortable using IDEX because it provides real time for orders, we know that sometimes if we use Forkdelta we always have difficulty seeing orders in real time.

i like IDEX  Cool Cool Cool
IDEX is actually the only one to point out now, but in the real essence I am not yet impressed with any decentralized exchange, and not at least for now. In terms of usability, security and some other things when it comes to being a decentralized exchange, not to even talk of liquidity.

I will say there is no best decentralized exchanges yet, and there are just very few ones that we can just point to, in that regard and possibly hope for the best in the long run with them. DEX still has a long way to go in this space and I have not seen one that has been able to get it all.
lol IDEX is no longer a decentralized exchange...they are gonna block IPs from New York and who knows maybe they will block IPs from somewhere else in the future...

It's good to see more people are choosing to use decentralized exchange. I have also been using decentralized exchanges for a while and can share three of them based on my personal experience.

1.EtherDelta or ForkDelta: I think they are the oldest. People sell their altcoins received from airdrops here, because there are so many pairs to trade. lol

2.IDEX: Probably now the most popular one. The order matching mechanism is improved which is the pain point of many other decentralized exchanges. While the trading fees are sometimes more expensive.

3.JOYSO: A newcomer. It also uses improved order matching mechanism and the trading fees are lower. However, many pairs still don't have volume because there aren't many users.

+1 to IDEX.

Many thanks in advance.
I support and exchange decentralized exchanges as a correspondence and in harmony with this market. It is great to recognize that many exchanges have good volumes such as IDEX, DDEX, ED, FD, etc. Especially IDEx, as I can evaluate, it also offers a number of efficient, convenient and fast and friendly than other decentralized exchanges. Hopefully it will be more supportive, improve performance, and expand user market share in the future.

I don't consider IDEX as a 'truly' decentralized exchange. You can't trade any token that isn't listed on there meanwhile you can trade any erc20 token on Forkdelta. So I think Forkdelta is the best one for now

I've used both the etherdelta, forkdelta, idex and I can say that I liked idex better. The problem that I did not like on idex was the frequent maintenance, a couple of months ago it happened often. Idex has a good interface and transactions are also pretty fast , so i choose idex.

I don't think there would be any decentralized crypto currency exchanges in the market anymore.
If by the way you can find one, that might not be popular among traders and obviously such exchanges have very less trading volume because people often like to trade on centralized exchanges

decentralized exchange which I often use when selling tokens from airdrop and bounty are etherdelta, forkdelta and IDEX. from the 3 exchanges have advantages and disadvantages of each, such as IDEX with exchanges that are faster than others but have a higher withdrawal fee, as low as forkdelta fees but selling there is relatively longer

Basically, etherdelta and forkdelta is just the same. I agree that these two exchanges sometimes took a long time to conduct transactions than IDEX but the advantage is that it has lower fee and most if not all ERC-20 tokens are listed there as long as the team allowed their transactions in there unlike in IDEX that needs to be listed there first before you can exchange your coins.

If I will choose between the three, I would choose IDEX because I like their interface and they have a good chart base on trading view if you want to do some technical analysis. They also have a warning prompt every time you do transactions which is an advantage over those two that would immediately conduct transactions after you click buy/sell.

On that article, the Idex decentralized exchange is the top one. But some of tokens their are ignore by the community, for example the beeasy token "etkn". If that is the most famous or the best, why some tokens are ignore even if its the first time to be listed on there, what I mean is newly created token. There is a hate thread for IDEX tho...very rare, just for some ShitCoins to trade with no other exchanges...

Well, to be fair, there's a hate thread for every exchange, even exchanges that only does trade with non-Shitcoins like Coinbase but then Bitcoin Cash is a shitcoin too, so really, the only exchanges that don't trade shitcoins deal only in Bitcoin haha.

But back to seriousness, if you want a decentralized exchange, then be prepared for everything including and especially shitcoins. A true dex means any coin can be traded, that's the whole point of a dex, freedom of choice, no control or decisions taken by any centralized parties.

Completely agree. It's a feature that either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how it was utilized. It is great in a way that there are no listing fees, no middleman, and everyone can basically trade any token (since most DEX nowadays is only for Ethereum Based Projects) to anybody; But, Sadly, most scam ICO's tend to promise on getting listed on DEX exchanges nowadays just to lure in investors. This type of scheme is what is tainting this great feature of decentralized exchanges.

I will recommend IDEX because it looks more mature than most decentralized exchange I see out there. And when it comes to token listing you can find less shitcoins on its exchange than other decentralized exchange because it's way easier to list on those exchange than idex. Also idex has a minimum taker and maker sell/buy order which bring more volume to most  coins listed in the platform.

I have several recommendation exchanges that I have ever tried, there are:
1. Kucoin➡Fee Withdraw is quite small, lots of new coins that can be exchanged, many giveaway, Registration without KYC / KTP.
2. Binance➡Many coin airdrops slide there, withdrawing balances is not difficult, their response is very fast.
3. Btc-Alpha➡The place is a new coin release, the list is easy, disbursement and fast deposit but Btc-Alpha deficiency: Fair fee, unstable coin price.
4. Hitbtc➡Easy to use, fast withdrawal and delivery, many types of coins that you can trade.
5. Wavesplatform➡Claim token wavesplaform is free every hour, Fee to send and sell is very, very cheap, easy to use, the price of coins there is still very cheap, will be to the moon in the coming year but Wavesplatform deficiency: Market is still beta, not many people know , coin prices are not yet stable.
6. Mercatox➡ Fast transaction and easy use it.

Nothing,

  • IDEX
  • WAVES
  • OpenLedger
  • Oasis
  • CryptoBridge
  • Radar Relay

These DEX (decentralized exchanges) import your ether wallet through metamask which is the greatest advantage in having a transaction. But the price value of each token in here is not good because there is no proper volume here.

  • EtherDelta
  • ForkDelta

Gonna add this two, if there would be a contest of the greatest DEX, I'll pick on these two because they have the most popular tokens last year. Etherdelta is a user friendly browsing site and even you don't have enough knowledge to handle this, you can do it by yourself.

I am looking for suggestions to which decentralized exchange to use. I am not a fan of centralized exchanges, so help me out here.
Many thanks in advance.
Of course it is Idex. The most important thing for dex is value. So Idex has bigger value than other decentralized exchanges. Also it's secure dex.

Probably IDEX is the most convenient and stable for me.
IDEX the preferred of most in the best decentralized exchange but I've been waiting for the announcement of Binance on how's the progress of their testing with the said decentralization.

EtherDelta.. very rare, just for some ShitCoins to trade with no other exchanges.
I have heard a lot of bad comments about Etherdelta so don't have any glance to use it.

If you want to sell the tokens that you got in the bounty, then no matter what kind of exchange you use, you need only sell.

Etherdelta also is a good exchange wherein you can sell newly token, most of token are registered here first and also IDEX most of my air drop is registered there compared to other token from my other campaign on other sites...

Binance would be the best to try also.

I only ever have used 1 DEX which is Waves. I actually started it in 2017 when it was still quite new,,, very promising interface, simplest to use at the time, and very fast blockchain, with multiple currency wallet. So much hopes for it,,, but the problem was it was all Waves based markets and as you know projects were only doing ERC20. I even have so many airdrops which I never asked for I do not know where they come from but these none have become anything worth.

One day maybe? Russian projects are going to be big some day.

I do have waves in the webclient which means you are a waves token holder already have an account in the DEX which you can trader with BTC, ETH and USD. Are ERC tokens already available in WAVES DEX?  The only that I have used for now is the Forkdelta which is much safer than etherdelta. They all work they same way but there are lots of NEW DEX that are going to be live soon some are listing NEO tokens.

Yes, that is correct. But no, only Waves based tokens are in the Waves Dex, just like any decentralized exchange, only tokens with supported protocols are available, which is one of the big downsides of these blockchain dexes. They are all safe, in terms of funds, but if the platform is no longer maintained or the blockchains as well no longer maintained, then your risk becomes quite big in that sense.

The perfect dex will work across all blockchain platforms via atomic swaps.

IDEX and bitsquare is a good decentralised exchanges in crypto market so you should looking for best one you can try this exchanges.
These two sites are totally privacy for all the personal datas. So I prefer IDEX is enough to exchange our asset. But I personally believe IDEX exchanges is transparent

Thanks guys.

There is a hate thread for IDEX tho > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3974898.0;all
Is it true that cancellation is difficult? And it holds my coins?

I will check out sobit, waves and joyso.
But will give Etherdelta a pass, since... no one is vouching its qualities from this thread LOL.

Are there any quality ones I should pay attention to?

ForkDelta is a great alternative to EtherDelta. As you can tell, the name suggests that it was forked from EtherDelta. I don't know what improvements they've made but it's certainly a great decentralized exchange. The only downside are the fees and the waiting time before your orders get placed. IDEX fixed these problems. Orders are placed pretty fast, you can cancel your orders without worrying about fees but withdrawals still depends on the network load. It has a centralized feel to it rather than a traditional decentralized exchange.

I tried to use IDEX before and its pretty good for me, and I heard also a good reviews about this so for me IDEX is the best decentralized exchange. Etherdelta is quiet not good for me though there's a lot of new coins in this exchange and maybe this is why people are using this exchange.

Sobit. Now you can get several currencies in this exchange, and still invest and dividends, it is one of the best trades in the market. https://sobit.one/#/index?i=ml096Bd
Never heard about this exchange before, well I will try to study this if there's a lot of coins here. Thanks for the link.
I just found out that there are more new exchanges and I have seen them and it seems like this sobit.one will go into one of the good exchanges even though there are still limited coins that can be exchanged in the trade.
