I think the best profitable Altcoins are those that are ranked based on price, popularity as well as the demand which can be searched easily through world wide web. Among those cryptocurrencies (Altcoins) that are ranked, we can see that Ethereum is still making its way into the top spot since aside from the dependency from Bitcoin, most Altcoins also rely into the price of Ethereum as well which makes it another option for trading pairs. I think with that stand, Ethereum is relevant to be proclaimed as the best profitable Altcoin for mining. Though everyone on the ranking can also be profitable as well. Now, choosing the most profitable Altcoin will now vary depending on the point of view of every miner and trader but for me, I find Ethereum as the best profitable Altcoin.

ETH is one of the more stable altcoins out there and that is why a lot of miners prefer that coin despite low returns. You can opt for lesser known cryptocurrencies such as Zcash or Vertcoin, but these coins are highly volatile and there is a real chance that by the time you receive the mining reward, the exchange rate may be much lower than the current rates. PoS coins represent another option, but these coins are even more volatile.

You can try ETH, Yes because some of us do that and also monero, even though the market is declining, you can still get a decent profit between it. Thank you for this information. Its always a difficult task deciding on which altcoin to mine considering the nature of the market and the requirements for mining an altcoin. I vehemently believe that mining could be lucrative, if one has the right information and is able to mine the right combination of cryptocurrency.

Is it necessary to move the topic there? Though the question is simply about which altcoin is good for mining is just a simple inquiry? I think topics on mining section is very more detailed and this kind of post will be rejected by mods there.

But to answer OP every altcoins out there is still profitable and you can take advantage of it if youre consumption on electricity is quite low. Like ether still good to mine, just provide a good specs of GPU.

is not in a market condition like now can make us profitable if the market conditions will experience a pump. As long as you can maintain the hardware and pay off the electricity bills then mining is profitable but with increasing difficult i am not sure if any of the coins are profitable and now if the OP is planning to invest in mining then it will not be a smart move as ETH is also changing their protocol to proof of Stakes (POS) and hence that is also gone and other than that what other coins can be profitable in the market right now.

@OP the budget is the main thing, if you are planning to invest millions then bitcoin mining farm is always the best option with the latest ASIC.

Only the people who have a good set of GPUs have a good hashrate to mine ether. It is not suitable for all to mine ether.
Other altcoins are available to mine as well but will be a little risky since the current market is not in a bullish trend.

For me, Bitcoin is always and all the ways is still profitable for the mining purpose, You have to think about the core of this cryptocurrency so Bitcoin is ultimately the base of this system, people still know Bitcoin is everything, many people know the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency though the Bitcoin, so I think Bitcoin mining is the best for mining issue, if you think about the altcoin then Ethreum will come first in terms of profit-generating aspect, I believe Bitcoin and Ethereum both have a good positive in this forum yet.
