Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are my favorite. These movies have the best storylines.
LOTR and Hobbit Series

My favourite series is probably "Star Wars". The original trilogy is such a classic. It was totally out of its time, hard to imagine they were filmed in the 70/80s. The new episodes are not as good, did their job as a prequel trilogy. Looking forward to the new trilogy next year.
"Terminator" is good too. I enjoyed the "Back to the future" series too, any one remember this?

The godfather.
Of those listed, the Terminator and Star Wars series. Godfather was epic but not really that re-watchable in my opinion and the second one kind of drags on for a while...
I like Harry Potter but i was a massive fan of the books.
I think everyone of those film series has at least one crapper. And some of the franchises have reboots or films that aren't really part of the originals like American Pie and all its shitty straight to dvd sequels etc.
