It is all gambling at the end of the day... having said that.

bitbay - talk to the dev then decide

blocknet - research hard and see if you like it first - huge potential but taking forever to get this out.

-------------------------------------------------------------

coval - risky but i decided to get a bit - hard to find good info but there was some promising snippets

cloak - seems to have some good people coming on board. got a little bit not 100% sure

xby - intersting but not sure yet

cbx - like their new road map

quark - big one that went to shit have a new team I have a bunch and accumulated more lately - risky but may be worth more research

sys - another possible interesting one.

pivx - another good one but I sold too early

Then those are maybe the worst gambles you could make in the cryptospace. What are your profit exits for each and how long are you planning on holding them?

You have been here longer than most of us yet you still give us bad investment advice.

Before you BUY anything you could link your BTC to Byteball and get free Byteball. That is one for sure that cannot fail you as it is free and will be worth a decent chunk in the incoming months IMO. So do that for sure, also you can get involved with some other free airdrop coins like Bitcore and Deeponion. However do note Deeponion is more like a signature campaign and not airdrop but has much potential imo. Gl finding your gem, these may help put you in the right direction

I would recommend to take a huge research about coins communities, the biggest community - more safety. At the other point, new coins has high volatility, more risk, to get a lot or loose everything.

I would consider INSANE COIN with ticker INSN.
They have a a doable road map and they will launch INSANE SPACES FIRST CRYPTOCURRENCY EMBASSY in the U.K in early 2018 which will be a space to both educate and also make income for the holders od INSANE.
I am planning on getting a plane ticket to the U.K when it launches as I want to be there for the opening with my Wife. Well that is the plan if finances permit.
Having an INSN masternode is pretty cheap as well, only around 2-3 BTC gets you a 50k INSN Masternode.

Siacoin is awesome project if you are looking for long term investment, but don't buy it above 300 sat, I made this mistake and price went down to under 300 sat and I was upset. Now the market recover and I'm happy with it.
There are a lots of videos in youtube, do ur own research before investing in any coin, It's your decision to make.

Hi,

i am actually quite long active in the business for cryptocurrencies but since so many new sites/coins pop up ever day I really lost the focus on good choices. So I wonder if you can give me some help.

I have a bunch of Bitcoin what I want to Invest in (new) coins, that are not traded on Polo for example.

Really unique things. What I am looking for: Coins with really nice, unknown/new or/and gamechanging features! Not another things like (our coin is faster because of dynamic blocksize etc)

I am looking for the rough diamonds. Please, please! no fanboy trashtalk. I'll not buy blind and read through whitepapers etc. so I don't buy trash because you own coins (find a greater fool). So if you have any good tip I am really super happy if you mention it.

Thanks Smiley

For good tips I would even give out a bounty!

For now it is very confusing because of the large selection of crypto currency.
I also feel confused because of the many ICO coins.

Currently I am personally interested in lumes (stellar) because of technology, speed of transactions and the low transaction costs.

I suggest you to read everything about a coin before investing, expecially concerns expressed by other users.

I recommend Byteball https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/obyte-totally-new-consensus-algorithm-private-untraceable-payments-1608859 and Dimcoin https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-ico-dimcoin-the-future-of-equity-on-the-blockchain-1986414 for long term investment.
Byteball is a nice currency with its main opportunity of easily created smart contracts. Yet I think it is too expensive to start investing in it now.
I would recommend the op not to invest in worthless new currencies, especially ICOs, but perhaps it is better to invest in a currency cheaper than byteball. As a very cheap option I advice dogecoin, which has big community, fast and safe code. A more expensive good option is litecoin.
New coins are too risky to invest in.

well, asking in a forum will expose you to a lot of info and advices but remember that if it is in a messageboard probably is too late for exponential gains, my opinion, as always

For the future crypto I think the spectiv project will be a good choice for you because it has a lot of the connection, but in this time I suggest you to invest on OMG. But it depends on your analyzation about the coin. I mean you must get the right time buy the answer will be related to the timing to buy its token.

Since ICOs became a "thing" A lot of coins pop up every now and then. Some are just based on the Founder's idea while others have a working project or beta software available. It's best you do your own due diligence so You can make the right investments. But I'd suggest you check out TrueFlip. It's a Blockchain lottery platform that is fully operational. Their ICO ends in about 3-4 days. Read the Announcement Thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-trueflip-become-a-part-of-the-worlds-largest-blockchain-lottery-bounty-1928663

Like I said, You should research and do your due diligence.

I would suggest you to take a look @, BLOCK, ARK, TKS.
Most important: do your own research on these coins so you can decide on yourself if these are projects you want to invest in.

@moneyLooser. Be careful with all the advice and the suggestions given here. Most of us in the cryptospace are not qualified to give you investment decisions and have no way to prove if a project's idea is technically possible.

Your username might become you for real if you follow misguided suggestions here.

I'm into ZEN, think the project is great and see it as a good long term investment... Although read about the individual coins yourself and go for the one you feel is best, no one can tell you what's going to take off

I would advise you to get as many information as possible before investing any higher amount of bitcoins in any of new projects. What I check first is their long term vision and transparency of a project and funds raised during potential crowdsales (ICOs in most cases these days). Next important thing to consider is a team behind the project. Do they have any experiences from the past, are there any good developers involved, what is their media presence, number of real twitter/facebook/slack followers...
