On the upside I've made money overall so I can't really complain. Anyway I'm thinking of buying more NXS... gonna have to decide between this and some other coins I'm eyeing.

if i were you i would just buy the dips. i think its not yet too late as there is still a lot of potential upside. i am hoping for X100 bagger or more and just spend the coins slowly if that happens. too bad i dont have that much to invest but it would be good enough for my purposes now. good luck

Knowing the dips of NSX would be hard since we dont really know if that price increase would be the last or not. Buying now on its current price would always comes with a risk and if you do have high hopes on it then its your choice to buy even more on its recent price.

So many coins are there byteball as the market cap barely increases.
Melon even though no one heard about it but it had a really high price increase recently
Vault coin i was checking yesteday it had a 200% in the last 7 days and 500% drop in last 7 days Grin

I think rather than OP means "new altcoins" and it is clear that maybe LTC is the oldest of all "Altcoins" in the market, but well, since you mention it and once the clarification was done, is true LTC looks undervaluated at this time.

right now Litecoin to me seems to be extremely under-priced because first of all it is at the bottom of the price, lowest amount it can possibly be. and also it didn't have any pump for a long time.

also the thing that will send it to the moon is going to be SegWit on litecoin which will be activated soon and the wave of rises will hit the market and price goes to the moon. ez money.

You're wrong and I don't agree with you. Yes, Bitcoin has first movers advantage but it has many technological disadvantages in contrast to some altcoins - scalability, privacy, exhaustive and eco unfriendly mining equipment, it is partly centralized and adoption is on very slow scale - to name a few. Secondly, you can profit from altcoins (if you choose right) only investing 50 or 100 USD. It is impossible to get 100% and more returns investing only in Bitcoin small amounts of money in short term.

In my opinion Byteball and Waves are ones you should take a look more closely. Byteball implements revolutionary technology that doesn't use blockchain and removes Bitcoin scalability limits. Waves token is like a "Paypal" on the blockchain but much better and decentralized. FCT, GAME, STRAT, XRP and MAID all present good investment opportunities for long term. Maybe the question is not right for me. For me, the value that the currency has today is what the market defined with its value. In my opinion, the correct question would be, which currency has potential for appreciation? Not that it changes much, I understood the context of your question and my answer does not differ much of what was already put by the users above. I've been closely following Decred and I believe it has good growth potential.
