Check out this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/which-new-cpu-coin-is-worth-to-mine-422364

I'm currently mining Qubits (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annq2c-qubitcoin-new-secure-hashing-cpugpu-new-update-0841-411065).
Mined DTC before that, might go back to DTC if Qubit dies off.

I feel good about Qubit, but it should bring something more innovative other than just a new algorithm. Don't get me wrong, the new algorithm is a nice feature seeing most of the other CPU coins currently can be mined with GPUs.

Qbit (qubit) looks like it has a community starting around it. Look like it has promise.

Advertising Coin has a nice webiste.... yup.

Chaincoin is hard as fuck to mine. so dunno about this one. could be good.

FairQuake - what a scam! massive premine that claims to be fair.. forget this one. don't believe me just look in the thread.

XCoin - ?? Fail no Windows wallet and launched a day ago. Apparently Windows users don't matter so why should this coin.

Ducats - no research yet - going to do that now.

CDN Coin - still kicking and has 1400 miners mining it on their pool. Difficulty has surpassed 9. (prime algo)

2ChanCoin - Russian coin from the 2chan community. I hear its picking up steam in that community.

SIFCoin - has been revived from the pile! The original Quark! never really went anywhere from the get go so let see what happens now.

Particle - SIF Clone (Quark) no premine - possibly a good coin

Molecule - no premine

Atom - premined

Dime - premined

Seconds - dont know

RVDCoin - started out as a scam using the name of an existing trading firm. Seems like it has picked up steam since then. China Coin.

Lots of recent CPU coins came out to speculate on. If I were going to pick one it would be Q2C Qubitcoin.

But I thougt DIME has a funny huge quantity, and much pre-mine.

I recommend that you check out Dimecoin. It's perhaps the most potential CPU-coin at the moment. It is growing every day and getting listed into Cryptsy very soon.

I get about 10 quarks a day from about 8 cores.  Grin

Quark is also probably the third most talked about coin in the media.
Too little...

Ducats sounds good, but I am not sure.

I have wasted a lot of time to mine C-note with so high difficulty, and it is rubbish now.

I tried to pool mine also ducats, fairquark and qubit.

Ducats have blocks with a little number of coin(about 80 yesterday) and the difficulty is rising. Pool mining yesterday for about 10 hours with 1 Mhas = 140 coins

Fairquark works fine with p2p mining but in this case the amount of coins will be very limited if you don't have a great hash rate.

Qubit have still block of 2048 coins and the mining is very good in pool. In about 1 hour this morning I have collected more than 5000 coins.
