Litecoin. BTC can't be used as a currency and BCH don't have SegWit.

Since you are a newbie, better to play the safe game. You could invest in bitcoin as it is the real and bitcoin cash is just a forked coin of it which was created just few months ago on august this year.BCH has no unique features to deliver. It is a centralized coin created mainly for the benefit of roger ver, jihan wu and craig wright. You could notice a high price of it,but its not exhibiting its true value and it is just being pumped fiercely.

If you still want to buy BCH,then if you are careful enough to ride the pumped coin and could sell it off before it being dumped, then you could buy it.But bitcoin price is also recovering and its now $15,100.So,bitcoin would be the best choice.

If I were new like you I would invest in Bitcoin. Before you do that, I would advise you to learn about benefits of Bitcoin and why is it better than having a bank account. Bitcoin is not perfect and after nine years still have some problems such as scalability and transactions long confirmation time (due to its design). Bitcoin Cash claims that it saved this problem by increasing the blocksize. I personally think that it will lead to centralization. That's why I support Bitcoin which has SegWit and Lightning Network which will be ready in the next few months. Try to read more, it's quite interesting topic. You should make up your own decision.

BTC I want to invest in crypto market. I am new here. Please suggest me Is it the right time to invest in crypto.
Or which one is best investment bitcoin or bitcoin cash? Undecided Undecided Undecided

Anytime can be the best time to invest with cryptocurrency but if you are not that big risk-taker then am suggest that you wait for a big dip. When Bitcoin reached $13,000 that could be a good time to buy some. Now, it is already in $15,000 but there is still a big possibility it can go down as we are nearing the end of the year. Though this is just my guess and am not a good fortune teller.

As to BitCoinCash, it is also good to invest some money in there. I am sure that it will also be growing continually as it is now marketed as the best alternative to Bitcoin with its ongoing scalability problem. You need to spread your eggs in many baskets too and there is actually no need to limit to just these two as certainly there are others also worth watching and trying. Anyway, good luck on your endeavor.

I will choose bit cash, because BCH provides faster trading and cheaper costs, which is what the market needs now. I think the price of BCH now has room for growth.

it depends on what you want to do. if you want to buy and hold then you should only do it with bitcoin.

but there is no denying how bitcoin cash can get pumped. and so far you can see how they pumped it significantly to this price of 0.2BTC+ but at this point we are in after a pump and that means you are late for investing in it, you should wait for either a dump or signs of next pump.

Why choose if you can invest in both? You'll profit in both because those currencies has a limited supply. If you are a long term investor i suggest to invest in both Bitcoin already proved itself in long term, and for Bitcoin cash invest on it while the price is cheap.

In modern conditions the BCH has more potential than BTC. This is due to the fact that the value of transactions in BTC is very high. Turn 200,000 on the transaction confirmation is also not encouraging. In such circumstances, I do not see any reason to use bitcoins. But if the kernel developers decide to upgrade the situation can completely change. Bitcoin will become again attractive.

Well both are good investment, but I will choose Bitcoin because it is most popular and have been in existence before others.

This depends on which one has gained prominence in one's country. For me, its bitcoin because it has gained a lot more popularity in my country. Also so many are beginning to have faith and investments in btc

It all depends on how long you want to invest and wait for returns bch is making headway it should be faster than bitcoin. I don't know of anywhere that is truly accepting bch as payment for goods. Bitcoin has established itself as the top player weather that is more down to media attention. You could just invest in a few other coins as well.

Have to admit, BCH's marketing ability is really tough, and compared to bitcoin, BCH cheaper, in relative terms. So investing in BCH may yield more revenue.
Not just marketing but there is a great manipulator behind Bitcoin cash , they have money and media like Bitcoin.com to influence the market but I think it just makes unhealthy growth in Bitcoin Cash and I doubt the real use of Bitcoin Cash

Where is my ring of blades...
I think from the current price, Bitcoin Cash is more promising because the price is still cheap compared to Bitcoin (the price of 1 BTC = 5 BCH). Got more coins at a cheap price, more promising. And the benefits that we feel will be more felt if we hold a lot of Bitcoin cash. However, that does not mean buying Bitcoin a bad choice.

if your whole reason for saying bitcoin cash is better investment is because it has cheaper price then with that logic at least 1000 altcoins become better choices because they are much cheaper. we even have altcoins that are worth less than 100 satoshi which can get pumped a lot more.

potential comes from usability and bitcoin cash is currently gaining some but what people are missing is that it also has the same scaling issue as bitcoin only BCH postponed it for a later time. right now everyone is happy but that won't last long. in long term it doesn't have any potential.

long term bitcoin and only bitcoin and nothing else.

short term bitcoin but also at specific times bitcoin cash. and also by extension all the other altcoins out there.
now this "specific times" that i mentioned is the times when the whales are advertising these altcoins and pumping them hard. in 99% of the times, this happens during the times that bitcoin price is stable. like right now that bitcoin moves up and down less than 10%. during times like this every trader looks for altcoins to pump and make up for the time by gaining a huge profit.
they move from coin to coin, so don't get stuck with only one all the time.

I got into crypto last summer when I put some money BTC and ETH. Currently I have 50% invested in BTC and the rest in LTC, XMR, XML. BTC is the only one that I personally truly believe in at the moment, however, as a student I would really love to gain some profit the next months with the alts. I just always feel that I'm "too late" for buying any of them like IOTA, WAVES, STRAT, OMG... Currently some other students that I know are hyping QSP, ONION, NET(NIM) and Wanchain. Do you have any advice/opinions on these alts? I've been reading lots of threads here and on reddit and trying to find out what the "more experienced" crypto enthusiast are doing but it's still quite hard to learn to spot the right coins on time. Thank you in advance!!

I would prefer trusted, tested, secured and well known coin bitcoin. In my opinion bitcoin would be the better investment as compare to bitcoin cash. We have trust on bitcoin since 2009. In my opinion bitcoin can give us much better profit as compare to bitcoin cash. Its my personal opinion.

You want secure investment or high risk investment?

BTC is secure one because it's the main coin and will never go wrong, because SHE is the Big Boss.
(even if there is something go wrong then there will be fork and you gain the fork out of it)
But yes for now SHE is too high to buy, but can you predicted that BTC price will go down and never pike up again from the current position?

BCH is high risk investment which is it's new baby born that copying the Big Boss (BTC).
Yes it will become high interest for this baby born price right now if it will pike up like BTC as right now.
But, what if BTC make their move that will completely fork and beat all BCH and others features?
Isn't it will make BCH vanished and because it's not the Big Boss, then making a fork from it will be ridiculous.. (Ponzy Schame)

bitcoin cash is a better investment than investing in bitcoin. Always choose the options in the current instead we should choose bitcoin cash for the future potential.
