What is skill based trading?
I never know about it. I hear only skill based gambling games. Trading is an only way where we mustily use skills, but it has no skill based named. But I agree trading is better than skill-based gambling games. The risk is here in both of them, but trading could be profitable than all gambling games where we use skills or not.
Yup, there is no word like skilled based trading. You have skills you can do trading or else you can, but you will not make money. According to me, skill based gambling means sports betting, and poker games and other games are all most equal to Trading. Yes, these games do not depend on the site it depends on our skill set if we do not pick right bet we will lose. Like that in trading also if we do not pick right coin we will get lost in trading.

I do agree with your post but it seems that you are missing something.  In skill based gambling it is either win or lose but in trading there is always a cut loss option and can even make you profit through scrapping.  That is what skill based gambling is missing.  So I can say they are not the same in terms of risk since trading risk can be manage to the point of nullifying the risk and making it to near zero.

Obviously since trading is not a game .. it cant be a skill based thing.i meant "professional trading" with it Smiley

There is nothing as skill based gambling. Trading somewhat can be considered a skill and if you have a patience, trading can be profitable in the long run.

There are skills in gambling, with all the pump and dump groups growing around, you will never know which coin will rise or which coin falls in the present situation. So I would be going towards the skill-based gambling for some games than trading altcoins.

Just cut the crap guys - if you are looking for real profits then the best way is simply to get a job.
There is no guarantee that you will be a successful trader, especially cryptocurrency trader or one of the top poker players.
So don't fool yourself into thinking you could have comfortable life while being poker player or trader, only lucky elite can afford such lifestyle.

First, I thought that there was nothing need to worry when you start trading in the crypto world because most of the coin always go up. But right now, I have changed my mind when I look into the coinmarketcap.com. All coins are going down and there is no sign that they will stop. Well, I think that both trading and gambling have their own risk and people should know before deciding which path they will go

For me skill-based gambling is more risky than trading. Because any form of gambling is risky. Although you can say that trading is risky but with proper research and knowledge you can remove that risk and in exchange to profit

So same situation is here in skill based gambling. Because if we have proper research and knowledge then we could play easily skill based gambling like trading. You know he is using skill based gambling word for Sports betting i think so, and if we use our skills in sports betting and specific these games where we could use skills than sure, it is same like trading, Because in trading without knowledge and skills we couldn't earn from it and continue it. So in my thinking, both are same and risk is confirm is here in both but same.
The answer is it depends on a certain person who is doing the trade and the gamble, they have their interest and both requires
skills in order to profit so they both have a chance for success.

i think if i compare with situation condition now which bitcoin and altcoin is confusing to make movement, if we are doing trading now, we can get stuck in any pairs because the price is like a trap and could make us to get lose and its the same as gambling. in this situations we have skill based in trading but we are playing gambling because our trading is like playing gambling, we are only guessing how much the price will down or up.

Yes indeed mate.. gambling is much riskier than trading. No matter how skilled or experienced you are in gambling the odds of winning is still low. When in trading the risks will be less if you have good knowledged and knows how to predict were the chance of profit is higher.

This completely depends on your ability and the skill you have got, if you are supreme in games like chess, poker or anything and you believe the opponent is not cheating or is a face to face game then you must go with skill based gambling while if you believe you are good in instantaneous actions like selling high and buying low.
You have the determination required to hold a coin even at it's extreme worst then yeah go for trading.
It's rare to see people who are good in gambling (skilled based games) so if you have that skill you have to pursue
in developing it as it can provide you easy money compared to the journey you will take in trading.
Trading depends on the market, like now almost all are down but in gambling anytime you can make money.
When we are talking about fastness on making money then gambling do really have the edge compared on trading but i can really tell the difference when it comes to risk comparing both things. Skill-based gambling can really give you money if you are really have the skills to win on most of the time even theres lose but you can sustain to end up on profits then thats a good thing but a rare thing which can people could acquire.

I believe it is the skill based gambling that has more risk.  Skill based gambling still relies on luck unlike trading, it is affected by the environment and demands of people.  Which can be researched and known through news and updates.  Trading risk can be minimized too.

I often see that people prefer skill-based gambling such as poker or sportsbook because they think it's more profitable than trading.
But, people say that sports can be manipulated by mafia/casino for their own good.

So, which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? I think both of them have same risks because both of them could be manipulated, unexpected things could happen and many more.
Both are profitable in their own sense and they both are risky, with trading you must have some knowledge about the economy, this will and some speculations will help make some profits but with gambling its pure luck, you may be dealt a bad hand in poker and there is nothing you can do about it.
It will still usually depend on the player themselves if you are going to be somewhat a pro and you determine how you will try to profit in the games, after that, you can determine what you are going to do after the games. If you have been dealt a bad hand it's either you bluff your opponents or you just fold, that's what you can do, it's a matter of skill, if you are going to be a bluff master or not.

Risks everywhere are there, but some types of gambling are based only on luck and there will accordingly be more risks, because no skills will help. But in trade, after all, you can properly analyze the situation for a more stable profit.

Yes, even in skill-based gambling the end results still depend on luck because many times the strong teams have lost against the weak teams. So we can't always guess results based just their past performance. But in trading, if you can wait for the prices to go up and make a profit. I also choose trading is better than skill-based gambling.
It's based on luck but not solely, if you have a skill and your are lucky your chances of winning is really big.
That's why every gambler must learn how to improve their skills and do not rely only in luck if they want to stay longer.
skills in gambling works on certain games only , even it's still doubtful. poker always called as the most reliable game to begin career with and having profit from. i don't believe it. in the end everyone would lost in gambling no matter what.
