Thats a interesting POV, because, as I understand, in a co-owned mining company all the purchased equipment is property of the share owners. So a honest trader must update and pay ASIC rates as soon as the equipment go online.
I think, once the ASIC reach the streets, would be a week or two with high profits, once that period ends, and the difficulty rises, the profit will be -normal-
Right now I'm investing all my mining profits (1200Mh/s, 0.6BTC/day) in bonds shares, and will continue to do so until BFL ships the ASICS.
Once the difficulty rises to much to keep the gpu mining profitable I would shut down my gpu's miners, and I'm talking about less than 1BTC/week with current USD prices. Thats my plan to stay in. Smiley

Hi, i'm a small gpu miner that starts to invest in GLBSE bonds because I can't afford the price and risk of buying a BFL ASIC, so I came with that single and speculative question.
Also, which will be the strategy on release the asics rates, they (or you) will mine for themselves until the difficulty rises, and later start to convert the bonds?
Or, they (or you) will start to pay asics rates inmediatly the asics goes online?
Thanks for yours honests answers and opinions. I hope that your answer could help me in my investment.  Smiley

Its likely that a mining company, not a mining bond will be the first to yield higher results, as there will be no adjustment period for  a mining company to transistion the bonds.
