I don't know why anyone in their right mind would go after Ethereum under current circumstances. The value has dropped by almost 95% from the ATH levels (however, it has recovered recently a bit), and the trade volumes are at all time lows. On top of this, the ICO market is showing no signs of recovery, although Ethereum still maintains it raw monopoly among the platforms (it is still being used by more than 90% of the tokens, with other platforms such as Stellar and Omni trailing behind).
Everyone is all entitled to their own opinion based on the way that their mind can break it down, this is how you are able to interpret Ethereum operation from your own personal view, but we still have other people that will look at it in other ways.
What has happened to most coins is not to be blamed on Ethereum as most altcoins are also victim if it, scammers are to be blamed, they are the ones that tarnished the ico image which I believe that Ethereum too never envisaged, and this circumstances is really beyond their control, until maybe when regulation comes in that can help eliminate some of these terrible scammers.
I don’t support them for once mocking bitcoin, I guess it is just nemesis that is catching up on them which I would say it is good for them, next time, they will learn to focus on their own project rather than discrediting other people's project.
