2. Time series on monthly New topics, new users, new posts of the forum
I think they are deserved merits.

You can give link here any topic or post that deserves merit but didnt have any or not enough received.

with this topic merit sources can find post easily, it may took to much time, giving merit is a though job, have to filter a lot of thing, everybod thinks their post is precious but this can be an emotional idea so offering somebody's post will filter this. Inorder to not miss any post this will be helpful i hope.

Thank you for this act. during my stay on forum i have come across many useful posts that helped me a lot. Also those that helped me to avoid scammers but i didn't have Smerit to merit them but with this thread I think they'll have a chance to get what they deserve.

I don't think we need such topics for merit, anyone should give merit to any post that is high quality, it does not matter whether you agree with that post, if it is high quality, you should give merit.
it is to hard to read all post on this forum, so offering a post is just time saving. merit sources can use this post , this is filtered you only see who deserves fast.

Actually the rules for raising rank here are not much different in the altcoin forum. To increase rank, someone must make a post, but posting in this forum must be better because every post that helps will be rewarded with merit to increase rank.

I have created a thread here: [Guide] Best/Top Crypto Exchanges: Fees & more that I think would be useful for people looking for exchanges but unfortunately, it got buried by spam instantly.
Tried to revive it a few times but it's a lost cause.

I also run a thread about crypto currency mining, that I'm maintaining for the past 6 months+, and I think it would be helpful for others: [CryptoNight] CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return

Feel free to look at my post history too, maybe you'll find something useful there too.

I recently merited this post but it already got a lot of merit: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto ? Suspects, frauds and conspiracies on bitcointalk it was a very interesting read. Check it out Smiley

I have seen some high quality posts on some local boards, but they have not obtained merits. Maybe it would be easier to get merits in the English section. I think the local boards should add some sources of merits.
Many local boards have become very deserted now, which I think is not conducive to the development of the forum.

This Merit thing has become some kind of a new religion.

Yep - and it is starting to get to me. People seem to have become like politicians - they want rewards without doing any work, and just talking about it. In fact the beginners' board is now just merit talk, bounties, TwitBook chat and similar stuff. I've just put the whole board on ignore, as I am so saddened by it. I'll review it in a week or so.

Although not on topic, I could not leave your remark about politicians unmerited.  Cool

Further on, the spamming, not only from bots but also from bounty obsessed members has become a real disease, just like a virus. I try to report as much spam and nonsense as possible but honestly: it's a lost case. There's an expression in Dutch which remains me of this forum, literally translated: mopping the floor while the water tap is open. Meaning your efforts are useless.

The most frustrating moments are when you're seriously trying to ask some questions or start a genuine discussion and those suckers just continue to reply to the OP without reading into anything. Actually, once you're on the second page of a thread, your efforts are in vain.

Which part of
- you cant offer your posts is not clear? If you don't even bother reading and understanding somebody else post, how you can even think anyone will read yours.

He even posted twice consecutively.  So basically aside from not reading OP's rule this person is also not aware of the forum rules and that really sucks IMO

Here is a very similar thread currently running.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merits-for-deserving-members-of-forum-5015731

It is different in the way that it would be others providing the posts they think are deserving, but I seem to recall something similar being created. Not sure what happened to it.

You can give link here any topic or post that deserves merit but didnt have any or not enough received.

- you cant offer your posts
- you should offer a post that you ll give merit if you had have
- only original posts not copy-paste or news article copy unless news site is belong to post owner
- cryptocoin related posts only

with this topic merit sources can find post easily, it may took to much time, giving merit is a though job, have to filter a lot of thing, everybod thinks their post is precious but this can be an emotional idea so offering somebody's post will filter this.
