there are many projects available today, but I still expect a lot of bitcoin to be accepted in many stores, e commerce and also all public services around the world.
I think the current problem is the environment and food. Without a green agricuture, we would starve to death for lack of food in the future.

There's none. If you are tackling about real world problems? the only solution could be the existing ones.Bitcoin has solve some problems already but these problems aren't only focused for bitcoin and it's not only one but there's too many of it for bitcoin to solve. But talking about specific problems, bitcoin has solve it already. And for those projects that can change our lives, crypto as it is but only those with real market.

I think it will be Bitcoin. After the Lighting Network is launched, it will be able to conduct a huge number of transactions. This will give Bitcoin the opportunity to compete with such giants as the Visa or MaserCard

My bet will be on ethereum. I know that you already heard that it can take 1 million transaction per second using plasma and sharding upgrade. If that went on live, im pretty sure that those businessmen specially the bank personels will get their eye to ETH transaction speed and how it actually works.
I have seen a lot of projects making great difference in the world already, most of hem are found in the area of health, security, banking and commerce. I recently invested in some projects, that despite not being listed, their techs are already in use and some have just been listed. Examples of such are Medichain, Docademic, Shivom, Nano. Iagon is also of the best projects that has a good tech that would also be adopted very soon.
World problem can't be solved overnight despite what project you'll use. Every day comes new problems and obstacles. There's a lot of projects about green energy, banking and some charity ICOs. One thing for sure in crytocurrency , its used anywhere. Where ever you are as long as their's internet you could go online. We may not be able to help solve world problem but at least we could help ourselves for a start. Earn in cryptocurrency. Either by joining ICO or trading.

many projects are trying to solve real-world problems, there are health projects, banking, housing, networking, blockchain technology has made human life easier, I see many projects offered, even in agriculture and food handling, transportation.

It seems to me that now the best and most demanded is a project that will fight scammers and expose fraudulent ICOs.And there are also prospects for security projects.
I think the protection from fraudsters and the security theme is the most promising direction in 2018.
I think there are a lot of projects that solves real world problems related to banking, security etc. The important thing is whether they can really turn it a sustainable business.
