I don't like staking idea because most staking coins requires you to send out your coins to another wallet for staking, why can't you stake in your own very wallet that you have access to the private key? I hold only Bitcoin and Ethereum for now

My experience in a stake or holding event is quite satisfying, when there is usually an upward movement in the coin. But when the event is over they sometimes go down.
If I were to invest in a long-term token / alts, I would choose BAT. it has a moderate capitalization and when bulls run it can grow to about x5 or x10. I only believe in investment in btc, simply because i think almost the great majority of other cryptocurrencies are either scam or useless tokens without a real need, so they all have no future and investment in them is so risky.
