Reading about gambling addiction I don't think it's a new topic, but fitting to be in here, I just want to ask: between casino gambling, in-house gambling, and one-on-one gambling with physical players available on the table, which among these is more likely to turn someone into a gambling addict if the person doesn't have self-control in all his gambling activities?

In my opinion, what is most addictive to gamblers are casino games, especially slot machines. In slot machine games we can get very large multipliers, this raises hopes so that many gamblers hope to get big luck and get maxwin. However, we need to know that the higher the multiplier have, the more difficult it will be to get it. For example, a no-limit provider will be more difficult than a PP provider because the no-limit slot machine multiplier is higher than the PP multiplier

Everyone has their own chance of turning someone into a gambler who is addicted to gambling, especially if that person does not have good self-control while gambling. He will just continue gambling without limits because he has found pleasure in gambling and does not remember when he should stop gambling. Playing gambling requires self-control so someone who wants to gamble should already know how to treat gambling. If you can control yourself well and are not easily tempted to gamble longer than usual, you will not become someone who will become addicted to gambling because you can take care of yourself while gambling. Most people will lose self-control after gambling for some time and they will no longer remember their limits.

If i can understand the exact point being made here, you're saying that the way we also contributed to gambling addiction from our own individuals influence upon other gamblers matters alot, there's a way some gamblers will always want to make their gambling experience through the other people's influence on how they are gambling and how we don't even know or care about if others are really watching us from what we do while gambling.

But now, we have online games, so everyone is exposed even those who didn't think that they are going to fall as an addict. That is the scary part though, and with that, I would say that online games right now could have more addicts because of the easy access to everyone.
A long time ago, many parents didn't like these games as they were struggling to control their kids by allowing time to them. But this time, these kids have grown up and they've got more money for the games that they want and they can buy as many as they can and the same goes with gambling. Everyone can gamble as long as they have money on their bankrolls.

I agree that games are more addicting as it stakes you nothing but only your time. But there's no difference on it when you allot a lot of time on it that shall affect you with all of the things that you do. So, games or gambling games or anything that's enjoyable. Putting a lot of time and money on it can make you addicted because even if you want to be one in control, sometimes you may not notice it that you're already one of them.

It's the games in the traditional casinos that are more addicting because a player has more interaction with real people. You could talk to fellow gamblers who can eventually become your friends. I think it's the interaction with people that makes gamblers come back and you get to share experiences on table games.

We all know that before the advent of online games, traditional base casinos are really taking over and raking billions of dollars annually. Yeah, the ambience, and environment and then free perks that they offer. Too good to be true to pass and that's why we wanted to go and play on slot machines on those casinos.

The online casino games will be the second since you are offered unlimited rewards, and you can win big up to the jackpot especially the slot. But even in offline casinos, the slot is already addictive.

But now, we have online games, so everyone is exposed even those who didn't think that they are going to fall as an addict. That is the scary part though, and with that, I would say that online games right now could have more addicts because of the easy access to everyone.

Yes casino game is more addictive Because here big winning is possible with small bet. so gamblers always attract in casilo game. another reason for addiction in casino game is quick result. in the sportsbet you have to wait till end the match for get winning or lossing status. that's why casino game has more fun and addiction. specially orginal game and slots are much addictive. so in all sector of gambling you have to control yourself to avoid addiction

And to add, in sports betting most games take place on weekends and even when the weekend arrives it is possible that there is no good game to place a bet on and this means that a sports bettor spends little time on the sports betting site , in this part it is very advantageous because we will hardly see many sports bettors being addicted to gambling, while people who play poker, slot games spend a lot of time a day playing and play every day. That's why we see many people addicted to gambling being people who play a lot of poker and slots games and other casino games that depend on luck.

and when you look at which games people lose the most money, in my opinion it's slots and other games that depend on luck. That's funny, because there are many people who when they hit a big multiplier they immediately post it on the forums, but when you look at the amount of money they put into the game and what they won, the person doesn't even need to ask them if they have been making a profit or a loss since. who started playing, because the answer will be that they are in losses, even that big win does not cover the losses, but people who are good at poker manage to win a lot and stop playing while they left with a profit

Slot game I guess because it’s a very quick game now that it has turbo mode and bonus buy to easily enter the bonus round. Next to slot I guess is card game like blackjack. This is the most common game I watch on gambling streamer whenever they are streaming.

They play first slot games then later on play Blackjack to recover their losses from slot games. Sports betting is probably the next addictive game but most pf the time people is just placing high stake bets and not totally on the number of bets so I don’t consider it as an addiction but rather greediness.

Partially yes because although turbo mode has been a feature in slot games for a long time recently with the purchase of free spins, many people have started to lose more money in such games. As I mentioned in my previous comment it isn't right to accept a single option as an answer but when we interpret it by generalizing we can see that it is possible. Also, I would like to point out that many of the streamers I follow are gambling and as you mentioned while streaming this I see that slot games are more preferred.

I think that the fact that such people generally lose money primarily in slot games and then try to regain their losses with other gambling games is actually a situation triggered by gambling addiction. Because it would be a bit wrong for someone who gambles in this way to state that he/she is addicted to gambling only because of slot games. In other words, it wouldn't be correct to state that a person is addicted to gambling regardless of the game and that he/she is addicted to a single gambling game especially because he/she prefers several gambling games.

I also see a lot of people currently streaming, they are gambling because they also know that slot gambling is currently popular among the public, therefore they indirectly make money from the live streaming they do, because there are definitely lots of people who watch it. they do gambling by live streaming. This makes many people familiar with online slot gambling. So it's not surprising that online slot gambling is more popular with everyone.

That's right, those who have lost will return to deposit their money back on the site to gamble again with the aim of chasing wins and recovering losses that have occurred, but this will actually trigger a gambling addiction which is certainly difficult to cure if they are already addicted. gambling, because those who continue gambling without thinking about the big risks that will occur, and of course they will experience losses, especially financially. Many people are aware of online slot gambling and have become addicted to it, but they don't realize that what they are doing can cause them to experience big losses.

In these days where online gambling is available and keeps growing, more people get addicted to it rather than the usual casino. Indeed, the new generations have been comfortable playing at home, and aside from that, the easy accessibility which you don't need to travel anymore. But I see the consequences are huge knowing that even young age are already gambling. More and more gamblers become addicted as they continue knowing that they can play anytime and anywhere as long as they internet. Until this was not regulated by the government, many people couldn't control its temptation because some influencers were also advertising them.

Well I also see the same part here, now the times are very developed and everything is sophisticated, and of course for problems in the world of gambling as you say that people no longer need to go to a physical casino which of course requires the intention to go and also requires travel costs such as fuel and take the right time in the midst of their busy activities, with the development of increasingly modern times it is clear that everything is easier to do, not only online-based casinos but also several other things such as platforms that make it easier for people to shop easily and quickly have sprung up and we are familiar with it.

Of course this situation is the cause of more gamblers entering and being trapped in the addiction zone because they can come whenever they want by just using the gadget they have which is of course connected to the internet network, running out of budget is not a problem because they have plenty of time to go to the ATM machine to deposit the fiat money they have, of course this freedom and convenience is what I think is the main cause of their addiction, but on the other hand not entirely too, because obviously for some people who still have the right point of view about gambling then I think they will not be that easy to get stuck in the addiction cycle, so maybe with all the conveniences that exist in online casinos it is only an indication and possibility for some people to enter the addiction zone.

Online casinos produce a high number of addicted players compared to physical casino, yes. Because of the restrictive measures put aside for the gambling age and who should gamble or not, then the time frame also helps players to moderate how they gamble. Moving from one location to gamble, helps the brain to remember when the time is late for the gambler to go home and sleep. The online setting doesn't have some of these restrictions available, anybody can gamble whenever they want and wouldn't bother about time. Even the younger players who are below eighteen sometimes boycott the rule by using their elder sibling's document as KYC. The naive nature of younger gamblers to make quick money wouldn't allow them the privilege to control themselves, as they'll be chasing big wins. Some of them go for loans, and don't know how they do it, but most news channels in Australia prove it right about young teenagers gambling with loans and putting themselves into big trouble that could be risking their physical or mental health.

It seems like this has become a real fact that it is true that since the emergence of online-based casinos now people who are involved and who are addicted are increasing, as I said earlier that ease of access is one of the advantages that of course will be chosen by most people rather than having to go to a physical casino which is certainly quite complicated. You are right, there is a significant difference in terms of time between these two casinos, if you are involved in online casinos then obviously you can gamble whenever you want until your money runs out maybe, while in physical casinos you cannot fully gamble because they have opening hours and closing hours so when the time is too late most likely they will close all access in the casino which means it shows the completion of the gambling session that day and continue tomorrow.

Another thing is that it is clear that online casinos have real freedom which does not recognize age, as you said minors can also get involved by submitting  their brother's or sister's personal data as a KYC requirement to get involved in gambling. On the other hand, this is what is worried about and what should be of full attention to all parents, because the name of minors they absolutely do not think about any risks, they  will only continue to play to make money quickly by aggressive means. If they run out of money then it is very likely that they will look for any means as an alternative such as borrowing from some services, so online casinos certainly have many worse impacts.

Moreover, the use of the Internet is spreading too fast amongst teenagers and they can't go a day without visiting their gadgets. Once they discover a good gambling platform online, they won't avoid the site for a single day. In the long run, the players may run out of money, but as you said, Dewi Aries, the lack of money can only help them stop for the moment, yet it changes nothing. They'll still wager more once money is allocated or sent to them by their parents. Offline casinos also have addicted players, but it's somehow regulated for most players who don't feel comfortable with being addicted. They can talk to fellow gambling folk about their problem gambling and could get help or recommendations on how to deal with it. The online players don't have this opportunity, they only suffer in silence and have nobody to run to for help. Instead, when with friends or loved ones, they try to cover it up and claim everything is alright with them.

I humbly submit that people who are introduced to the new online gambling platform are the ones who are prone to addiction.

Online gambling compared to other types of gambling, like you mentioned, has one (1) distinguishable element that separates it from everything- it is the element of convenience. This factor makes it possible for a person to gamble anywhere and anytime at their convenience. They do not need to enter physical casinos to gamble and they can also do it in a push of a button on their mobile devices.

Quote
Now are days I see much or all this in house gamblers becoming addicted and acting weird over gambling results, and walking down into some betting shop, you will see most of those gamblers spending their whole day in the gambling shop, which made me have the above question. I know any form of gambling can produce gambling addicts, but among all, there is one that is most common, which is what I want to hear from others.

I recently visited physical casinos due to some theatres being held at their buildings and I have noticed that majority of the players that visited were on the age bracket of 50-80 years old. I have noticed that mostly senior citizens gamble on these physical casinos.

I do think that being technological literate is a factor on this given that most people who are knowledgeable on the internet gamble on their mobile devices.

Honestly speaking all gambling has their own addicts who are very irresponsible in their gambling, and I believe gambling addiction is a self decision. However the disadvantage of casino in house gambling is that while gambling you might be there all by yourself and no one might be able to advise you on quitting, though you can also go in with very little amount and still have a long day of gambling experience. and casino gambling also offers gamblers the opportunity of winning a jackpot. Then on the other hand, one on one player gambling seem more like the rich men gambling so higher stakes are made and most of them knows when to quit after all, they can even go into the gambling hall with some of their associates, and can be advised when to withdraw from the game. So it a bit hard to tell where more of the gambling addict arise from in both type of gambling.

Honestly speaking, in this era, more people have become addicted to gambling online than offline. And one of the reasons why the percentage of gamblers has increased is because of the promotion of influencers on Facebook.

The only thing that doesn't look good is that the platform used to promote gambling is not right because on Facebook many minors use these apps, so I hope it can be remedied somehow so that it does not affect those who are under the age of majority. child.
Gambling is more accessible and is widely promoted nowadays; most social media sites, such as Facebook or Instagram, promote online casinos (not cryptocurrency ones), but casinos nonetheless. On top of that, it's not only influencers but also people who promote themselves as so-called masters of sports betting with their prediction groups that are being promoted on every social media platform available, often portraying large amounts of money as part of their winnings, promising to teach you all the tricks to win and promising extravagant yields in return for a "small" subscription or entrance fee. These are the worst and lure beginners into thinking that there's money to be made through gambling, without taking into account how risky that is.

I don't really know what kind of gambling there are a lot of addicts today but certainly what I can see now is that everything depends on the perspective and preferences of the addicts and every game must have its own addicts in this case even though there are many and some are only a few but all forms of games in gambling must all have addicts in it.
Currently, maybe for some countries in the absence of land-based casinos, online gambling, especially in slots, has a lot of enthusiasts and that is proven today in the country I live in because most people will definitely be in the slots even though there are some of them in the lottery.

But on the other hand, for those who have a land-based casino and it has been certified by their government, there must be a lot of gambling enthusiasts there because the satisfaction of being online and land-based casinos is different so that surely not a few of them like it and can even be categorized as addicts.

As I said earlier it depends on where you live. For those who do not have a license to hold land-based casinos, online gambling is definitely a very good alternative regardless of whether the promotion is on social media or the meta which is currently busy, it is actually not a problem for them because it is done as a form of promotion and the meta has also begun to limit it even though not all can be controlled.
Regardless of whether it is appropriate or not for the reason that children play meta actually it is also not to blame because apart from Meta who still cannot strictly limit the current children are also not in the right position when talking about meta because social media like this is not too suitable for children at an immature age and parents should be able to limit children so that they are not too in a situation that makes them mature prematurely.
We can't control some of the sites that promote on social media but we can control and limit our children by doing things that are more useful than just surfing on social media.
For us it is not a problem but for the children who should not be there it will definitely give problems.

Of course, you are stating a fact that is really happening, gambling addiction is increasingly rampant due to the increasing popularity of online gambling promotions and what is usually more popular with newcomers is slot games which are very easy to play and also easy to understand even even by ordinary people, on the other hand it is clear that online based gambling is more popular with the audience compared to physical gambling, ease of access is one of the advantages they have and also of course by getting involved in online based gambling it is clear that people can gamble wherever and whenever they want.

To be honest, lately I have often seen several influencers or content creators who of course have a lot of followers who promote on several social media, not only on Facebook but we can also find quite a few other platforms, such as perhaps on YouTube. I agree to say that that is one of the biggest causes of more and more people getting involved in gambling and getting into the addiction zone and getting into a lot of problems. So that's what is really worrying, I think almost 90% of people now have an account on the Facebook platform, there is no age limit and even children who are much younger are already involved in the platform. I think it is quite difficult and complicated to solve promotional problems like this unless the government is really firm in limiting or even eliminating gambling promotions on the Facebook application for the sake of the future of minors.

SLOT addiction is quite dangerous, because in this type of gambling almost nothing depends on the person himself. The result is completely determined by the program, the algorithm of which owner can rebuild at any time. Less dangerous are sports betting - here at least something depends on statistics and the person himself
I may not know much about slot addiction but it is very important for us to make sure that we examine ourselves and make sure that anything that is going to affect us as a gambler is well dealt with. Gambling is a good way for us to make money for ourselves especially taking care of our bills. Once we know what we are doing, it is good for us to stay cool and make sure we go fully and use the fund that we know we can afford to lose and use to get. Since everything about gambling is very risky, we need to make sure that we bet afford to risk to reward ratio.

It seems to me that card games have the least ability to cause addiction among players. Poker is a game that is often played not even for money, but what if the player decided to play not for money in slots or betting? They wouldn't be interesting! This means that cards are a really good and interesting game that generates excitement even without money. But addiction, I mean a disease where a person gives money away from everyone, occurs precisely when monetary stakes are involved in the game. For some reason, it seems to me that slots have a rather detrimental effect and are difficult to resist.
Slots are an excellent anti-stress and it is very easy to get attached to this type of gambling, because it does not require any skills. You just need to spin the slots and wait for a miracle.
You cant really say that on having less addiction but its true on some point that this is something that could compare in speaking about those slots or casino games on which the results were instant and something that could really be so addictive on such manner. Doesnt matter though because everything would really be that depending or would really be according into someones control when it comes to gambling activity because there are people who are really that impulsive when it comes to gambling dealing and there are ones who are really that mindful about on the things that they've been doing.
As long you do know on how to handle yourself when it comes to your money spending then everything would really be just that fine. There are really just those moments that you do become
that impulsive which is inevitable.

Now are days I see much or all this in house gamblers becoming addicted and acting weird over gambling results, and walking down into some betting shop, you will see most of those gamblers spending their whole day in the gambling shop, which made me have the above question. I know any form of gambling can produce gambling addicts, but among all, there is one that is most common, which is what I want to hear from others.
