Of all of the wallets out there, online wallets are by far the LEAST SECURE. If you care about the security of your Bitcoin, then DO NOT USE ONLINE WALLETS.

There are several good choices for wallets. A good place to start is https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet. All of the wallets listed here have been reviewed and analyzed by many other people and experts to be sure that these wallets are safe. Notice how blockchain.info is not listed.

My recommendations for wallets are Bitcoin Core and Armory for full node security or Electrum for a lightweight wallet. Full nodes are more secure but require the entire blockchain, lightweight wallets such as Electrum do not download the full blockchain but rely on a third party server to provide you transaction data. All of those three choices (Armory relies on Bitcoin Core) are very secure.

I will never suggest an online wallet to anybody... They have a small learning curve, are usually easy to use and accessible from anywhere, BUT you're not the one holding your private keys...
This means that your keys are stored on somebody else's server. If his security isn't up-to-par, or he decides he doesn't like gambling (for example), he can just deny your service, keep your coins or keep your coins locked forever. He can be hacked and you'll lose everything.

I only trust wallets where the private key is in my hands, and isn't shared over the internet.

That being said, there are a number of good wallets out there
- bitcoin core (does take a long time to sync, and a big chunk of bandwith)
- electrum (also runs on windows, android, linux,)
- multibit HD
- ...

this is a very informative post. I tried getting bitcore a while ago, but the time it took to sync was sooo long I decided to fuck it. Now, after reading what you have posted, I will let it do its job and keep the bulk of my coins there.

It's not always easy to advise someone on what the best wallet is because it really just comes down to personal preference, especially when talking about android wallets because they pretty much have just about the same features now.

Mycelium would have been my first suggestion but you're already using that.
If you want to try another then wallet32 used to be good but i haven't used it in a long time.
Blockchain.info still has a neat wallet.

You need to start by asking yourself, what do i want in a bitcoin wallet, write it all down then go searching for one that has all or as many features you listed, things like you may want a multisig wallet or one that has 2fa options.

On top of the normal wallet features i personally look for a wallet that allows message signing as not all do and also one that allows you to change the fee paid, 2fa is also a must for me.

100% right. Online wallet may give you a headache. There is plenty good wallets that with right
security configuration of your OS will give you security compared to hardware wallets, like trezor etc.
-Multibit wallet in classic version is a good option as well.
-Airbitz wallet for android, I'm using it, very sturdy app. also 2FA
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/bitcoin-wallets/ use online wallet for small, faucet payouts and transfer
immediately to your offline storage.

Yes, 2fa is very nice to have!
does it also work on android? Does it do so well? Greenaddress also has 2fa, but it works very poorly on my phone; it's really slow.

Yes it works well. They send SMS to your phone number with the code every time you try to log in.
