When i buy some coins even i i'm in the loss i sell them , i didn't have the ability to hold these coins, even these coins can give me much profit if i hold them , but i didn't hold them from the very beginning which i considered is my mistake and a bad habit too. Now i'm changing my trading strategies and holding the coins for a long time.

thats true no one in this world is perfect and cannot commit any mistakes anymore and even the best among the best traders do also make a big mistake .
i dont consider myself as a best trader but i already made some big mistakes and that includes picking wrong set of coins and trading at the wrong times but im slowly recovering on that huge mistakes i made in the past and im now careful with my decisions .

Truth be told, we all know it. Crypto trader, regardless of how good one thinks one is, sometimes makes mistakes. While we all made errors, some were bigger than others.

Which do you consider to be the worst mistake you made when trading CRYPTO?
I know my biggest mistake when doing trading crypto which is not set stop loss every want to sleep at night. Sometimes coins that i bought in spot at past dumped to really low price and when i just wake up i regret that i lose so much. And now especially with future trading which can made us liquidated, i always set stop loss so my mistake not repeated ever again.

The worst decision in the last year or so I would say must of been not getting involved with DeFI. There was tons and tons of money to be made with DeFI. First there were those tokens like UNI which you pretty much got for free for every address that you made some Uniswap trades on.
Mate, you just made me recall some of the worst decisions I made. I was one of the fortunate ones who traded at UNISWAP and hence got free UNI tokens but I was foolish enough to sell them the day I got the tokens. I then bought them later for a much higher price and the market crashed, I sold them, and guess what? The price as you can see again is doing well.

It's hard to measure the magnitude of my mistakes when I deeply look back at my life. I have made terrible decisions in not just trading career but in life as well. I don't know what's worst, to sell my bitcoins in 2015 or to sell my UNI cheap.

One of the worst decision I made is when I sell early at the pump I don't really regret that but I forgot to do trailing profit I could have earned more rather than just selling it all in just an instant. Well I think I should be careful that's a lesson for me, I see that many people have more worst decision than me so I think I still consider myself lucky.
Selling too early was the common mistake that many traders did and most of the time, they still do that.
I was making a wrong analysis in bitcoin before and I think that still happen until now and that makes me keep learning more to get a better analysis.
I do not close my future trading and lose some money because I want to make a bigger profit.
All in all, we make many mistakes in trading, but that does not stop us from learning details about trading and if we can do better than before, we are on the right track to fix the mistakes.

Sold all three of my 1070/1070ti 6 card rigs I was mining with for about 2 years before moving thinking I would be in a place where electricity was too high to make it worth it. Turns out I moved into a place with free electricity and would have been accumulating for an extra year before the massive spike.

making mistakes decision is the common problem when it comes crypto trading, actually for me it's because of the volatility wherein sometimes the results of our TA end up nothing, especially if we trade at the bearish because sometimes indicators are giving a false signal.
I agreed what other saying that we need to follow the trend, but for me we need to accept the fact that trading is not always good with that reason, because market directions can be change without any reason as well. and only traders that can hold their emotions has the ability to survive with that scenario.. That's why i prefer to trade depends of the situation of market to prevent mistakes again. Lol

For myself, my mistake was when the price of the coin went up, it didn't sell immediately and I still hoped for the coin that I was holding could soar higher than this.. But it turned out to be my fault. Finally, the coins that I should have been able to sell and profit from, now tend to drop drastically and I was forced to sell my coins cheap.

Certainly, we can't avoid mistakes but we can make it lower down by learning those things and find a way of not happening again.

For me, the biggest mistake I have is to make a buy option while the price is already in the rallying movement. I neglect to think about the possible dump to come and it was wrong, I put all of my capital thinking that this gonna be the perfect time but too bad I wasn't able to check the market trend, and lose half of it.
This I was thinking that it is a need not to rush the market but rather to keep it slow and do a further analysis first before buying.

The worst decision of my life was that I made $8 and bought 50 Binance coins(BNB) for $14 for sell . Within a few days of the sale, the price of the binance coin exceeded $100. And now it's yoursb, You can know the third favorite coin of Binance Coin Market. Now Binance coin price more than 450$..

Not trading BNB or selling it early has to be one of the biggest mistakes of any trader this bull run, I also made the same mistakes of selling too early. I was of the speculation that BNB was to perform well and due to lack of fund had to partner with a friend to buy them but after a sudden pump, he decided he want out. There was nothing I could do to convince him not to sell so we sold and divided the profit.

Funny I didn't reinvest my share of the funds into trading BNB but just left the market for good as I was just so frustrated to trade. I did give the call and many adhere to my advice after doing some other findings of theirs and today I'm still been thanked but funny I wasn't a beneficiary of my own advice.

BNB still has room for growth, it's going to be a four digit priced coin if it can survive upto the next bull cycle. CZ is quite a determined young man and those like that always brings success to whatever they're doing.

I do think that we all have our own experiences with regards to worst case scenario about our trading decisions for the fact that it is really hard to decide on which track are we going to get in simply because the market we are working up into is highly volatile and no one can exactly say what can happen in a span of time doing trading in this kind of market. In my experience, I think the worst crypto decision I have made is letting go of those alts that I think cannot progress anymore but in my surprise after months of doing such, they have grown and make me feel that I miss a big catch of profit with that.

Yours is definitely not good, experiences happened with Defi, but I can say that my experience with Amarkets is quite successful and very grateful at the work of managers.

There were some other airdrops if you got involved in other DeFI projects. All the coins such as 1INCH and UNI were crazy profitable. UNI if you bought at launch you could of made like 10x your investment, same with 1INCH. I kept thinking this is just a fad and due to the high ETH fees it'll be like the ICOs during the 2017 days however I should of tried it out.

Now all the craze is in NFTs it seems.

Which do you consider to be the worst mistake you made when trading CRYPTO?
We all have come and experienced losses due to bad decisions. Me, getting in panic as seeing the trend going down and sell it at lose, that is one of those mistakes I've made. But the worst thing that I've made is to buy a new coin believing that it also makes some hypes and thinking about doubling my money but too unfortunate that was nothing to happen and after I bought them, I never heard it again but only it was just delisted.

The lesson, it is a need for us to make some search and don't rush to invest or trade if you are never sure or at least have some assurance like market volume is high and listed to a known exchanger as this will help to identify that this project is worth it.

It was 3 years back from this day when I sold my 2 BTC at a time. It was my great mistake that I sold my valuable assest. It has a great value at this time and I feel upset remembering about it.

Probably the time I bought clam because it was easy to gamble with it on just-dice back in the day, and I believed that just-dice picked it for some merit and it will be a great one, if they believe that they should use that and not something else, then I believed that they knew something I didn't know and the price would go up. What happened? Nobody remembers anything about clam, it is now basically a dead coin that nobody uses, right now it is ranked 5269th on the ranking, and it is literally just dead, doesn't even have a marketcap.

So, you can understand that buying a bunch of that was the biggest mistake I could have done, got out long time ago during 2017 peak because I wanted to use that money to buy other stuff which was a great decision, but it was very easily the worst decision in my crypto life, didn't made that big of a mistake (did bunch of smaller) ever again.

selling btc at 4000$  Cry
You're not alone bro. I also did some selling on that price point and even below that during the bear market. We all sold because we have a reason, a valid reason because there's an important matter that's needed money to be spent and that's why even if we don't like to sell during those times, we have been forced to do it. Anyway, the market is becoming better and bitcoin is also showing its dominance again and by this time, we have to learn from that mistake of selling early. But I guess even if we sell at some point today or in the near future, we are already in profit.

The worst mistake in trading is that I am eager to make big profits. where I already made a profit of $1500 within 5 hours, but I was so eager that I lost and lost $1500. that's my worst experience where in trading it's not allowed to be greedy and have to control emotions
That sounds hilarious to me. I mean how did you made $1500 within 5 hours? I don't remember a coin that well anytime recently. Maybe you are into futures trading where a small hike gives you huge profit but a small drop wipes your entire balance as well. I am genuinely interested in knowing more if you wish to share.

My personal biggest mistake in trading was to liquidate my dogecoins when the hype just started instead of waiting for the right time to sell them. I feel depressed every time I recall those days.

weeks ago someone created a thread similar to this one and I couldn't talk about much, I'll take this opportunity to talk about the many mistakes I've made:

1 - my first biggest mistake was buying an altcoin that the creators were liars and thieves

2 - my second biggest mistake was to be day trading with shitcoin from yobit, I remember that at the time I didn't know how to search for good altcoins to trade

3 - My third biggest mistake was to day trade and always buy when the price was close to resistance and with that I lost money
