I've heard about exodus wallet and the reviews are quit good but the only complain is exodus wallet supports less coins than trust wallet, I am also a old trust wallet user and I prefer trust wallet than many other wallets, its from binance team and it supports almost all coins I know.

From these two wallets I will obviously choose trust Wallet.Because I am a old user of trust wallet and its user interface is really very cool and much easy to use.Again it's one of the safest crypto wallet too. And you have option to use multi coin wallet.

If you are given a choice to choose one of this two wallet which one will go for? Trust wallet vs Exodus wallet and please tell me why....

Maybe you should ask yourself about this since if you seek for answer then we can say that two of your selection is good wallets to choose by people seeking for trusted wallet. But I used Trust wallet more that Exodus since before I get annoyed by the fees required per transaction there. I don't know if this happen to that wallet now since I don't use that wallet anymore but let me clear this I didn't encounter issue for using exodus and I think their security is good but I just like how convenient the trust wallet is.

I will just add to everything that others have already written, that the Trust wallet is exclusively available as a mobile crypto wallet, while Exodus is available in both versions (desktop&mobile). From everything I've read so far, I'm inclined to think that mobile crypto wallets are still most at risk, given that the average smartphone user cares very little or nothing about the security of their device.

I think it is quite risky to use any hot wallet as the main method of storage, because such wallets should only serve to store small values of cryptocurrencies that we use on a daily basis.

I've used both of them, there are no special feelings or experiences from using both of them. Trust wallet is already owned by Binance IIRC.

Whenever I use them, they're only for small funds and that's a special place for me to keep a high amount of my funds IMO.

So I reckon mk4 about owning those hardware wallets, any of them will do if you're into the usage of multicurrency crypto wallets.

If I wanted to select, i could talk about a few wallets, but I did not say that you are just talking about these two wallets.
Between these two wallets, I would suggest to use trust wallet because trust wallet is very good and their security is also good. You can use it with security.

Unless you're asking about hot wallets specifically, then the choices should always be Ledger[1] or Trezor[2] if you want to prioritize security.

But just to answer your question, I'd probably go with Trust because Exodus' software isn't fully open-source.

Best bitcoin light client (SPV) wallet: Electrum
Best altcoins wallet: Open source hardware wallets. About the coins they are supporting, do more research, but Trezor support more coins.

Atomic wallet and Exodus wallet are both close source just as JeromeTash posted about it. If a wallet is close source, it is highly not recommendable.

First of all what assets are you trying to safe guard?

If it's just Bitcoin, I would look out for an open source wallet which are a little common like electrum. Both wallets you have mentioned above are not open source and you don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

It maybe ok for small amounts of assets but if you want to keep a large amount of your stash. Atleast look for a multicurrency hardware wallet.
