This is my take:

Agree, there's no passive income in gambling lmao. There are only two results for each session, win or lose. It does not generate income for you no matter how much time you actually give to it. True passive incomes would be stocks, businesses, etc.

I have a friend who did not like to bet in sports betting because the reason of takes a long time to wait for the result, not like a gambling casino, it is very easy and you don't need to think so much and it has a quick as a fast result. This is probably the right answer to the question, we don't need to compare both of them, each of us has a preference which we like and don't like and choosing one of them or selecting them both is also a good choice.
