It would be neat to see if anyone can make a good design and fit the full "Whirlwind Mixer" phrase in the avatar. Since Whirlwind is so new, people don't yet know exactly what it is. An avatar that just promotes "Whirlwind," well, when someone sees that, they think "Is this an exchange? An NFT? An investment service?" In later days, Whirlwind will be known and recognized by name alone, but the reality of today is just that we're not quite there yet.
Even in my submission, I only wrote "Whirlwind" rather than "Whirlwind Mixer." When you're working with only 80 pixels of height, it's hard to fit in two lines of text and a good logo design. If anyone here can do it however, they've got a few merit points from me (although I'm just a random guy) and hopefully the appreciation of those behind the contest as well (who have the actual cash).
It is indeed pretty difficult to fit both "Whirlwind" and "Mixer" into such a tight space. I was not able to fit it in my avatar.
In my opinion the Signature display enough information itself though and the avatar should be recocnisable and an eye-catcher.
The point of seeing the signature and avatar over and over again is to build recognition, right?
