I stopped reading those things.  For the most part they are mainly pointless since most don't ever do what they say they are going to.  Tons are copy paste scams.  I guess in that realm it might be good to see plagiarized or copied white papers because then immediately can rule that project as a scam.  Not sure of any places like this to discuss these white papers.

Whitepaper that is not clearly stated the meaning and the purpose of the project is not a good project and I have seen many projects with their whitepapers and nothing to discuss about. The number one purpose of any cryptocurrency project is to pay or buy things digitally or online and that is the main purpose of bitcoin but that has been defeated because of the high transaction fee shops refused to take or accept bitcoin.

I have not seen any project to discuss the whitepaper because the main purpose is not stated there. And the only thing every project needs is to make investment and not to pay Goods and Services

The whitepepper is good for a new project, while the initial Coin offering (ICO) is going on and the whitepepper and Announcement thread here in Bitcoin talk forum is very important and secondly telegram group we also make the project environment more attractive between the team and investors to come together as one community.

I am taking orders from projects or individuals that need help with their whitepaper, pitch deck or press release writing. Add me on Telegram @ICO_Services
I think it will be much more effective if you post this in the services section and if you include some of your portfolio or the things to show your capabilities. It would also be helpful and less time consuming if you give your rates right away so people interested can immediately get down to business.

Nice idea. But I think that is already a part of this forum. Here so many issues regarding the existing coins and ICOs are discussed with so many explanations. However, you can do as your plan or something better than that.

Creating your own blog or site or FB Group page, or Reddit community that focus on ICO's white paper discussion, observation and errors would be also great then you can invite everyone who wants to join and discuss some ICO's project focus on the white papers. It would help everyone to discover some possible project that would turn and real scam to start with...

One point of view is clear, Whitepaper is the certificate of solidity of the project and it is through him we know if it is a scam or not, for the highest quality that it has. On the other hand Whitepaper is one of the components to the success of an ICO and the less sought after, because what matters in the end is liquidity and trading, at least that's what the market shows.

I don't see any reasons to start a new forum. If spam and scams are the issues a new one will be flamed too soner or later. This doesn't make any sense.

So what's the point of just publishing a white paper?
Because most of the time of the project team strength and the open source code is the more important part, and a white paper, if not developers, so can also complete a great white paper.

Four factors must be considered to evaluate white papers. Proximity, authority, timeliness, relevence those are the four factors. White paper is credible. A person must see the value of the idea of the project, the opportunity to realize it and earn it.

Yes that would better if we could share the whitepapers for the investors to go through. This was the basic pupose but we have moved far from that unfortunately. I would like to draw the attention of the admin panel in this case.

The whitepaper is always going to be one of the most important things so far, that is why i think that everybody should always be paying a lot of attention to them, specially on shady projects.

I really think Whitepapers are just a true good to be true information about the ICO, Well if some information in it are true they will surely not put some negative feedback's over it so all of the things you can see in the Whitepaper are all positive and good things about the ICO and you can not see any negative about it, It is all just icing on the cake they are showing to us you will need to experience the real deal.

I think people can trust white paper. Because this is trustful. Peoples must have to see the price and find out the better scope.

Even scammers also can come up with very good white paper if they spend some money to prepare that paper. You also should give important the team behind that project and how many projects they have already completed. Even with all these things still no assurance that project may successful.

I don't think we need another forum to discuss the same thing in different place because this forum is already having a separate section of altcoins to discuss.

Id like to start a forum where we can share whitepapers for our/other projects. Instead of just churning out whitepapers that are meaningless or vaporware that can never be built, we should strive to make a community that shares and criticizes these ideas before the ICO phase.

Is there something like this? If not, we should use this as a jumping off point
Reading the whitepaper is important but it is not the only thing we have to look before investing on any ICO,this forum is the biggest crypto forum so most of the project will have their ANN threads here so we need to look at them and the response for every questions asked in their and the bounty manager and project development team these are very mandatory to look before investments made.Creating new forum is a very bad idea and you doesn't have enough support there so use the announcement threads for your purpose of discussions.

Well, for evaluating the white paper, this forum is already used. In the forum there are many experienced users who can help you to gather knowledge in this field. You can post about a white paper here and discussions will start on it.

Well I think it is a good thing. I appreciate you for this. As white paper is trustable. We should value other people’s idea and we can use it also.

I think there's no need to create a new forum just to share which whitepapers or projects are good to invest because we can just do it here in bitcointalk and there are lots of discussion about new projects here where some new members asking about the projects. And what makes you think that creating a new forum makes a better community for cryptocurrency investors/traders? In any webistes/forum you will visit there will always be a person that will recommend you to invest on a project that they are promoting or they are the ones that are scamming people with fake ICOs. For me, just read everything on their ann thread and the whitepapers to find out if it is good one to invest. I'm not saying that there's no need for discussions but you just have to be smart and careful on where to put your money.
