Agree with most of the answers here, Tradingview ideas can give a lot of insights of the market. I never really followed anyone, but I regularly check some crypto Twitter accounts and some Telegram channels to get a fresh view. It's good to get out of your own head sometimes and see what others are thinking, might give you a new perspective.

I also follow Tradingview and do my own research every time. beside it I follow JOHN MCAFEE https://twitter.com/officialmcafee and use this source in my trade. I also follow some youtubers also.
How does your trading results from following McAfee's tips? I never liked him, always thought all he has done is classic PnD.

im following for coinmarketcap historical data. this data allows me to analyze the price of the market in the next days to come. For me this is the most accurate teller of what future holds to the cryptocurrency I am followed with.

Traders usually follow a few sources that they trust and they ignore other sources.

Who are you following?

Share here that everyone benefits and maybe the person you are following is the wrong resource and you have a chance to learn it too.

Personally I'm browsing posts in Tradingview
I am looking at coinmarketcap because I think it is more accurate and easy to look at the prices of the cryptocurrencies that we wanted to check. try to look at this site too https://coinmarketcap.com/ so you can compare their price from Tradingview and at the coinmarketcap.

I would re-watch several channels and form my personal opinion. if you do not make independent decisions you can never become an independent good trader.

I just follow the trust I get from the experience I have, with my experience I can determine the right time to buy and sell, while to monitor the price I just see coinmarketcap, a lot of which gives trading signals but I do not believe it.

I used to follow some predictions in telegram groups, they discuss and research a coin so we are told when to buy and when to sell.

No, where you can learn it's only not here. Some may share trading articles here, but you can't be confident in that information
If we don't have any knowledge then we have to read those articles but don't read just one article you have to compare whatever they wrote it is right or not with other articles and don't follow their strategies, learn everything and make your own strategy.

When I've learned trading I don't follow anyone from the start but I listen from experts or a friends who really knows in trading. Learn from your mistakes in the past and apply the knowledge you have that after you may not regret in your decisions.

Yeah and advice is all I need like I don't want to follow every move that they're doing and what their advice will be all fine. I still make my own research because I don't want to fully rely on their TA so whenever I messed up it's myself who'll I blame. Like they're not God or can really forsee the future so don't trust that much.

You have to think with your own brains, but someone else's experience never hurts Wink
Very useful thread for me, thanks!
You better understood this. Exactly everyone has his own kind of loss and profits. You can’t just think of something happened to someone and he is relating to you with full charm and concern. You must listen his talk but never adopt the responding strategy because he might have different set of conditions and scenarios which may be not applicable to you. So yeah, just see.

I don't agree that following other people is bad, especially for newbies who can't do TA. Beside reading books, observing good traders is the best way to learn anyway. Nobody is asking you to blindly follow others, but you can learn a lot studying charts and technical analysis of experienced and successful traders. In the end you will have to make your own trades using all information you have. Here are a few guys from tradingview I follow and check on the regular: Crypto_Ed, CryptoRand, EXCAVO, ApeX_Trading_Group, LewisGlasgow, Intuit.

I tried to follow one channel on the YouTube (it is now closed after a series of incorrect predictions). May I ask what percentage of these correct predictions these people have?

Does anyone here knows Revv Nissan?

I've been following him with his technical analysis he's underrated but I like his points when he's giving his points about the market.

I'm checking his post all the time with his facebook account.
Is Revv Nissan has a bitcointalk account? If yes, can you please provide useful link and share that to us. I will be thankful if you provide some information about him.
I don't know if he has mate.

I never talked to him and I just follow his lives and posts. You can just search him on facebook and his posts are visible to every stranger and possible follower of him.
Is he a crypto trader ? I just want to know his past performances on cypto trading. Honestly I am not a fan of any big traders but for my own analysis. I believe into my skills to generate my own trading calls. With my research and analysis, I have achieved some decent amounts of money with more than 80% accuracy of my prediction calls. Here I must mention that I prefer trading only bitcoin against tether.
