The creators or some international laws that would prohibit the use of bitcoin. But it is very impossible to happen, many people are benefiting from bitcoin and as a result, many people also supports bitcoin

I think nobody can not destroy bitcoin. its a digital currency and no 3rd party can not control it in his own way as share market or any other market control by third party. If the hacker want to control it another hacker who are in need of money he will protect it.

As long as there is a demand for bitcoin and there are people using bitcoin it will not be destroyed nor cease to exist. There isn't anyone who can control or manipulate bitcoin not even the most powerful person in the world because bitcoin is decentralized.

There will always be a demand for cocaine and heroin and you can profit by buying and sell those drugs and with that comes some very high risk.   If your government says you can't pay for goods and services with bitcoin, what level of risk are you willing to live with.   What profit margin will you need to make that risk acceptable.  Don't think for one second that the US Government can't put you in jail.  True, they can't put everyone in jail but, you might be one of those who they do lockup.   What gain would make that risk worth using bitcoin?

Bitcoin is still a relatively new thing and we are a long, long way from knowing how this story will end.  It's not going away but it may only have a small following if the US Government decides to attack it.

The biggest danger to Bitcoin are people in the community. It's important we work together to build a stable environment for cryptocurrencies.

And, what good are my 10 bitcoins currently worth 43000 dollars in a block chain distributed database if my government says I am breaking the law if I use them.   I have several million in assets and there are many legal ways to use it and protect it.  If my government were to make crypto illegal like drugs, would I risk my several million in assets to possible gain more?

Will bitcoin continue on, yes, but if governments fight back it will be worth much less then it could be.

If governments don't get on board, the possibilities for bitcoin will be limited.

Long term it could continue to be nothing but cash for a never ending list of silk road type entities.  Let's hope not.

Complete shutting down of Internet can destroy bitcoin...
That is certainly true, but shutting down the internet would also destroy non-cryptocurrency businesses, and seriously impair the ability of millions of people to make a living. Such an event would make 2008 look like a joke. It would be more like a 1929 event, or worse. Our whole society runs on the internet now...

Bitcoin is growing very powerfully but in this present scenario which factors can destroy or make its market value Zero.
Humans created Bitcoins therefore humans could destroy it. When it comes to factors that could make its market to zero are the following; massive security breach, majority of users are in illegal activities which result in worldwide banning implemented by the government, worldwide internet shutdown, nuclear war all over the world, EMP attack and the last but not the least end of the world. Grin I am hoping that these catastrophic events will not happen in the future but it could be possible though.

Very well stated.   Most don't want to face these issues.

Bitcoin has the potential to become useful but powerful? Not likely and it sure isn’t useful yet.   95 percent of the services I buy and sell are not available with bitcoin.  I most cases I can’t use bitcoin to buy stock, bonds, a car, food, electricity, tires on and on and on.  It must become pervasive for it to really become useful.   I have hope this can happen but there is a long way to go.

To use my possible bitcoin profits, I must got through an exchange and governments can shut them down in a second.  If that happens its only blackmarket central, nothing else.

As for who or what can take bitcoin out, at this point in time the US government can stop this thing dead in it’s tracks.  Make bitcoin transactions illegal and all it’s good for is use in the blackmarket.  That will still be big but nothing compared to what it could be.

I think for now there is nothing that can damage bitcoin because bitcoin is so strong and too much that uses bitcoin so it is difficult to change the value of bitcoin to zero

Bitcoin has grown beyond our prediction. So too difficult to take it down till zero value. Difficult does not it can not be.
I know one thing that can make it, bad news which is making all country in this world block bitcoin and no access to get through it. So the price will be zero. Its just my opinion.

Maybe the one who can destroy the bitcoin is the government, if they think that it has no good result to the society especially when using this to illegal doing. Additionally, our economy was controlled by the government with taxes, if they don't have any partition maybe it will ban also because the currency of the country are affected. Just like in some countries that bitcoin was already ban because of competition in the currency, they hold a demand currency and bitcoin was the one who affect to their currency.

Complete shutting down of Internet can destroy bitcoin, of course many user will be unable to login their wallets, keys will no longer worked, their will be massive breakdown and lockdown of exchanges, no transaction will linked up e.t.c.
There is no reason why internet will shut down in years ahead may be in event of war when there is massive destructions of Internet equipment and facilities.
I think maybe just a war that can make the internet around the world destroyed. because the main connection bitcoin is the internet network, if there is no internet then we can not do bitcoin delivery transactions. so nothing can affect bitcoin other than internet. all networks in this era of technology must depend on the internet network.

Who knows soon or long enough some whales that stocked up so much BTCs that they could influence the market heavily, making small investors like us losing hope and leave the market.

An organized network of nations that banned BTC would kill BTC too if necessary, this only would be done if BTC was heavily changing how currency works soon if we look at it pessimistically.

0 is unlikely, but it is still possible to hit it back to the early days <$500-$1000, but if look at the bigger picture, Strong ALTs would quickly replace if such happens with a better and more advanced blockchain technology
